Commodore Condo's Panama City Beach

This was a great place to stay, clean, rooms were great and the view. We did a bonfire by the beach and they put this together right in front of the condo making it easy for the family. We also used the shelter house for grilling and was nice with chairs and picnic tables. Will for sure stay there again.

Perfect Getaway

We had an amazing time on our trip. The Commodore had been recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint in any way. Gerald was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived and had an issue with an appliance. The problem was resolved quickly and our stay was not affected in any way.

Gerald was great!

Our stay was wonderful. iTrip staff(Gerald) was super fast in fixing any problem, and answering questions. He is the best Property Management person we’ve come across in our many years of renting in Florida.

Perfect for 2

Very nice condo on 3rd floor, cute decor, beautiful view. Owners provided enough soap, shampoo, wash detergent, to, etc for 2 people for a week. Only reason I won't give 5 stars is glass doors going to balcony very hard to open and close. West end of beach much more peaceful and less traffic We will definitely 😁 be back.

We will be back!

We are very satisfied with our stay at the commodore. The communication is clear and we had no problems checking in/out. The greeting staff in the front are all the nicest people. We loved our room and the area surrounding the hotel. It’s peaceful and not over crowded, beach area included.I have nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back to this specific place. Highly recommend!

easy door access, enjoyed the unit and the view.Unit did have some dents and scratches in walls, Sliding doors were hard to operate, had maint. come and work on them. Not much room between dresser and King bed in oceanfront master. Bathroom was good size, closet space was good, shower pressure was awesome. Living room furniture was dated and didn't seem very clean but liveable. Ice cube trays in refrigerator were cracked on bottom creating ice sheet in freezer but we made it work.Washer and dryer were small stackable but worked well.Not sure I would rent this unit again until some upgrades were completed.

Disappointed

My husband and I booked a stay at this condo. Pics looked nice. It’s actually very outdated, smells like mold, bed was horrible and the washer and dryer did not work which made keeping towels for the beach and wet clothes clean an inconvenience. We came down to get rested from busy work schedules. This did not feel like vacation. For what we paid per night we feel it should of at least had a mattress that you didn’t feel the springs in. ( and no we are not large people) property manager was very prompt and got back to me as soon as I let her know about washer/dryer situation. But it was not repaired during our stay :(

very dissapointed in accomadations

doors from living room/bedroom to balcony took all strength to open. Mold/mildew outside on wall of balcony. kitchen window blinds broken. no ice maker in fridge . 1 ice tray. dishwasher door would not close. ceiling fan in bedroom covered with dust/mildew? condo is very outdated.

Clean and simple

This condo was on the 3rd floor- walk out on the balcony and see the ocean! Palm trees slightly obscured the view. You can also see the hot tub & pool from the balcony. The unit is on the older side but had new paint and was clean. Furniture clean and moderately comfortable. TVs and all kitchen appliances are all older & out of date but work well enough. Carpet in bed room and living room seemed different to us. There were carpet stable sticking out but property manager stated they would correct this. Either way we booked last minute for this vaca and it was on the ocean and it fit our needs- at the very least. It’s not downtown near much of the crowds, which we like, but if you are planning on do more than beach stuff plan for a 30min drive one way to any other entertainment.

Commodore 309

We were disappointed with the condo. It needs to be updated. The sliders were very hard to open and close. The track for the slider was bent. We read a review on this condo that was posted a year before this and the same complaint about the door was listed. The light in the kitchen was iffy...sometime it worked....sometime not. Linens needed to be replaced also. We tried using the stairs since we were only on the 3rd floor but they were very dirty and dark . I don`t think we will return to the Commodore.

Our Panama City Vacation Stay

We had the most amazing time staying at The Commodore. Everything we needed was within walking distance or a short drive away. It was the the perfect time to get away for a vacation. The beach was not packed. Everyone we spoke to was so very friendly and inviting. We had one issue with the a/c unit. I was able to call and maintenance was knocking at our door within 10 min. Happened to only be the breaker. Highly recommend using itrip to book your vacation. The free excursions were great. We were able to play golf and know more about what other excursions we may not have known about. Wonderful vacation. Thank you so much

Our room and the condo itself was excellent. very clean and quiet. Wonderful experience with Gerald the property manager as well. He was very attentive and friendly! Can’t wait to come back.

100% Recommend!

We booked a last minute trip to PCB for July. We usually go to Pensacola, Miramar, Gulf Shores or Destin. We have booked countless vacation rentals over the years and this was definitely one of the best smaller condos we have ever stayed in! Having two bathrooms was wonderful in a one bedroom condo. The condo was spotless. The shower ….. oh I could just go on and on about the water pressure! Seriously, the water pressure was the best ever. The pool was perfect size, lots of families quietly playing together and the kids making friends. The kiddie pool was perfect, because it was small enough for our toddler to play in without us having to chase her around or worry about her slipping on a wet surface. The vending machines had frozen pizza and all kinds of little surprises. Very short walk down the ramp to the beach. We loved that this is not a mammoth resort and there are no huge resorts nearby, so we had no trouble finding an upfront beach spot. The best part was the communication with the rental company and the manager of the unit. Absolutely stellar. Gerald manages this individual unit and I wish he managed every unit we were ever in!! He even called to let us know the unit was ready early! The king bed in the bedroom was one of the most comfortable ever. All the towels and toiletries were in pristine condition. The kitchen perfectly stocked. The only issue we had was a known issue with any pullout couch. You can feel the bars, but I am 5’4” and slept horizontally on the bed between the bars and was very comfortable. The balcony is very large and great for any time of day. We are a little particular about where we stay and all of us want to come right back here the next time!

Improvements

Overall stay was great. Loved the cozy area, pool was nice, beach access was great. Some suggestions for improvements would be...new mattress in bedroom. The existing mattress was very worn. Needs additional pillows. There were only 2 pillows. The mattress in the sleeper sofa was also very worn and uncomfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at the Commadore!

Birthday trip

I throughly enjoyed my experience. When we arrived the condo was very clean. The goodie bag left was perfect and so nice. The garbage disposal wasn’t working and the sink wouldn’t drain so that was inconvenient because we cooked most nights of our stay. Besides that we loved the space and hope to return soon!

We loved stylaying here. It was really close to Saint Andrews which we loved. We liked that it had two bathrooms. The thing we didn’t like was the carpet was coming up going into the dining kitchen area and it had nails exposed which I stepped on bare footed. I hope they fixed it. Overall it was a good stay and check in check out process was seamless!

Wasn’t the best…wasn’t the worst

We enjoyed our stay at commodore 309 but their is a piece of carpet where it meets the kitchen tile that the carpet is exposing some carpet nails apparently because I stepped on it and the nail went through my foot. Hurt tremendously…luckily it was me and not my little boy. This carpet needs to be fixed immediately. The dryer doesn’t work that well either.

Great Location!

We had a great week staying in The Commodore 309! The unit was very clean with a perfect view! We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers so the second bathroom was great. The teenagers said the sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable but most of them are! Amber was very attentive and available. She set us up with a deep sea fishing trip in Destin that was wonderful! We really appreciated her help! The unit is located close to the steps on the end so it was very easy to access the parking lot and the beach. The Commodore’s location is perfect for a family, far enough away from busy hotels so you don’t feel crowded but close enough that it’s just a short drive to restaurants and activities. The bar/restaurant next door (Patches) had good food and live music. We will definitely stay here again, we had a great trip!
