This is our home away from home and not an investment property, 718-288-7612. When we are not enjoying Marco ourselves, we share our condo with our guests, keeping our Florentine Gardens Condo as we do our home. Beautifully remodeled and renovated 2BD/ 2BA 4th floor condo is within walking distance to Marco Island's pristine sandy beaches. This large 1560 sq. ft. condo plus expansive lanai with hurricane sliders that close for additional space, overlooks the heated pool, hot tub, tennis, pickleball court and marina with kayak/long board launch in Huron Bay at the south end of Marco Island. Caxambas Park is a short stroll away. Perfect for couples and families, this unit comes supplied with all the comforts of home and all beach gear needed for relaxing days in the sun. For dinner, walk to local restaurants to watch the sunset that Marco Island is famous for or utilize the gas grills located at the dockside of the pool complex for an easy stay at home meal.
The appealing Florentine Gardens condo complex, at the desirable quiet south end of the island, also boasts a dockside area for fishing, pelican, dolphin and manatee watching and direct water access to the Gulf of Mexico and Florida's 10,000 Islands. There is a recently renovated patio, and front pavers, swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, pickle ball court, kyack and long board launch, lounge chairs, shower area, bathrooms, formal lobby with elevators, large covered portico and extensive palms and tropical foliage encompassing Florentine Gardens that give our guests a relaxed vacation experience.

A scenic drive from the island, enjoy some great family excursions by exploring Naples, 10,000 Islands and Everglades National Park.

Wonderful Marco Getaway

We just spent the month of March at Marco Island in the McDonald’s lovely Florentine Gardens condo. They were perfect hosts and so easy to deal with from our initial contact, to ease of check-in, and great tips and instructions for use of everything in the condo. The condo itself was everything they described and more than met our expectations. It was so comfortable we felt like we were home. It was well supplied, had a great pool and the beach accessories were really appreciated and made our treks to the beach so much easier. Thank you so much Tom and Eileen for sharing your home away from home with us,

Beautiful condo and a key location.

This was our first time using Home Away and we were very skeptical and unsure if we would find the property as it was presented in the listing. We were pleasantly surprised. The condo was much more than we could have imagined and the pictures did not do it justice. Every part of the process to rent was seamless. the owner Eileen went above and beyond to assure us a comfortable stay in her home. The condo was newly renovated and beatutiflly appointed. Our stay exceeded our expectations. We are already planning I return next year.

What a great condo with a beautiful water view

This condo is everything advertised! We had the pleasure of spending our anniversary in Marco while staying at Eileen & Tom's condo. You can't ask for anything better! Beautiful furnishings, great view, great appliances, beach supplies and a short walk to the best beach. Plus the perfect hosts! Eileen made our stay extra special with a lovely anniversary card that made us feel so welcome. She makes it so easy to communicate with that your have no worries. Tranquility...

Throughout our stay, my wife and I enjoyed the Condo. The location is within a peacefully quite setting enhanced with a delightful canal view. The unit is very clean and comfortable in all regards. Further, there is close proximity to the beach and restaurants. Eileen is very accommodating and her advertised description of the Condo is quite accurate. We look forward to returning next year!

Even better than we expected!

We have been to Marco several times and are even building a house there. We have stayed on the beach, down near Tigertail, inland in a house, etc. but this condo was at the top of our list. There is a beatiful view of water in a very large waterway and palms that flow in the breezes. I loved the pool and all the neighbors are so friendly. The condo itself is very spacious and well appointed and I think they are updating the kichen which was already just fine for us. We also grilled out many nights down near the pool and the beach is just a short walk away. I hope it's ok to put in a short plug for "Marco beach yoga" on facebook. I walked there every day since it's a great walk just to the south beach public walkway. We hope to stay here again. Finally, the owner, Eiileen, could not be nicer and so easy to work with.

Our Vacation at Marco Island during Chritmas and New Years

We had a wonderful time at Marco Island. Our condo was well equipped, extremely comfortable, well decorated, and very close to the beach and golf courses. The beach cart was very handy and had everything we needed to walk two blocks to the beautiful white sand beaches. The local food establishments were very nice and close by. Thanks so very much for the golf balls you left and the cold beer in the fridge! You have a very nice condo that felt just like home. A wonderful view of the water and pool from a fantastic screened in porch was perfect. We plan on coming back next year and will reserve our condo with you well in advance. Marco Island is our perfect vacation spot. It is one of the safest places we have ever visited. The weather is sunny and warm almost all year long. Our condo at Florentine Gardens is at the south end of Marco Island where we have rented many times before. It is a quieter section that lends itself to a calm feeling of living in a tropical paradise. We love the beach and realize proximity to the shoreline is a priority especially with young children or grandchildren. The pool and dock area are beautiful and the 4th floor water views from our lanai, living room and bedroom are magnificent. The building also has a special curb appeal the sets itself apart from the surrounding condo complexes. The landscaping and cleanliness of the entire property is meticulous. Lobby area and elevators are perfectly maintained with friendly, helpful residents and guests making the experience of living in Florentine Gardens like small neighborhood. A short walk to the Sunset Grille on the beach is the perfect spot to toast the sunsets goodnight and have another great "Marco Moment".
