Overpriced
For a house that's unfinished and over rated more than likely rated by friends and family, I feel somebody and that somebody being me should tell you the truth. My wife and I have stayed at harbour views at Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast for three nights the same amount of time as we did here for the same price, and what these owners believe is that they are up there with versace, how untrue.
No top sheet on our beds just a blanket, the plumbing in the bathroom particularly the shower doesn't take the water away quick enough therefore overflowing onto the floor. The pool was covered with crap and saw several water scorpions. We wanted to sit outside at night and play cards and have a drink but there was no lighting on the verandah. The couch was fabric and smelt Interesting. How lucky were we that Maleny IGA had enough toilet paper left for us to purchase as we were only left 1 and a bit rolls for three days but how rude are we expecting more as we paid 3 times the amount for our stay than what was being charged the following week as I thought I might have a look and yes you might say high season but there was still 2 weeks of high season to go and that was only being at a third the rate my wife and I were being charged. I also wanted to take my rubbish to the bin but the bin was conveniently placed 500mt away at the end of the driveway, we could only watch foxtel as the TV wasn't tuned and I tried tuning it but no cigar. No shower toiletries were left, and again I must harp on the fact but when I shower at versace I am left with body wash not body lotion but hey there quite proudly displaying the rating they have for a reason, I just don't know what reason. Luckily they made enough money out of us to move forward and hopefully finish there renovations and soon to be renamed from silent hope to silent virsace.
