Our house, The Double Dolphin, is the perfect spot for friends or family to gather for a great Virginia Beach vacation. Situated on Broad Bay Island at the north end of Virginia Beach, our quiet, non-touristy neighborhood is about 1 mile from the beach on the Chesapeake Bay, 2 miles from First Landing State Park beach with miles and miles of walking, bike trails and guarded beaches, and about 8 miles up the beach from the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Our location is perfect for those who want to enjoy all Virginia Beach has to offer but want to stay in a quiet and safe neighborhood environment on the water, near many restaurants without the tourist crowds.

Our beautiful property offers a tranquil waterfront view and we have plenty of docking space if you want to bring your boat, jets ski or any water sports equipment. You can rent watercraft at nearby businesses. With 60+ feet of bulkhead, we have 2.5 ft of water at low tide and can accommodate any boat that drafts 2.5 ft or less. Crab or fish right from our bulkhead. By boat, you can explore the beautiful inland views of Broad Bay, the creeks and estuaries. Wade ashore and enjoy a sandy beach at First Landing State Park for off boat leisure or visit waterfront restaurants with docking. These inland waterways are perfect for exploring on paddle boards jet skis or kayaks. You can get a local rental if you don't have one. A short 15 minute boat ride and you can be out into the big open waters of the Chesapeake Bay right at the mouth of the Atlantic Ocean.

Our property has wonderful amenities for those who want to enjoy a waterfront paradise from the comforts of home. Enjoy our beautiful salt water pool or relax in the 6 person hot tub while watching the Blue Herons, Cranes, Pelicans and the amazing variety of shore birds native to the area. We offer luxurious beach towels and beach chairs to make your packing easier. Our premium bed linens and towels will ensure you are comfortable and feel pampered during your stay. Our home has onsite laundry for your convenience.

Our property is spotlessly clean and well-appointed throughout. Plenty of comfortable seating in the open concept family room with a 65” Smart TV, Free Wifi and stereo. Huge open dream kitchen with double ovens, granite island and counter-tops with room for lots of cooks and entertaining. Well stocked kitchen and bar tools ensure you have everything you need if cooking in. We have gadgets, small appliances galore and great serving ware for the gourmet entertainer in you. Dining room table seats 10.

Double Dolphin has 3 bedrooms with 3 king size beds. We also have a small room with 1 full size bunk bed with an attached full bath. Sleeps 8 comfortably. One king bedroom has a desk and printer for those who need to work while on vacation. Luxury bedding throughout ensures your comfort. Plenty of closet and drawer space in the bedrooms.

3 Full baths. Master bath has walk in shower with rainfall shower head, body jets and spray head. His and hers sinks and a deep soaking tub. Bathroom #2 with tub / shower combo with a great shower head. Bathroom #3 with large shower stall with great shower head, no tub, . Our home will be clean and ready for your arrival but we have cleaning products on hand for those of you who like to keep things clean during your stay.

BBQ or Smoke your favorite foods on the charcoal Weber while you watch the boats go by and enjoy your meals on the deck with plenty of seating for everyone. Sit around the outdoor fire pit on chilly evenings and watch the water flow by. Double Dolphin is the perfect spot to stay in any season. Easy access to sporting events, conventions, concerts, ocean beach, bay beach, parks, shopping restaurants, seafood shops, grocery stores, specialty markets, wine and liquor stores, movies, malls and gift shops.

Our property may not be used to host a party with guests who are not listed on the rental agreement. We live in a quiet neighborhood and do not rent to anyone who wants to throw a big party. Violation of this policy is immediate grounds for eviction.

Our home is a great alternative to a hotel for families who want luxury, comfort, space and the option to cook in or eat out and watch the kiddies play in the pool or hot tub without the noise of a crowded hotel in a resort area. Our location is a paradise for boat enthusiasts who want to vacation with their boats or just relax and watch the boast go by. We believe you will love staying at the Double Dolphin as much as we do.
