Our family had a great weekend stay! The whole cabin was a hit with the kids! The board games were a sweet addition. We were very happy with the proximity to Helen but with privacy and the beautiful drive.

The property is located in nice area, very close to Helen. I can tell its a money making property without investment into it. The property needs a good maintenance with deep cleaning. The house is full of ants and spiderweb. The fence collapsed long time ago (see attached pics). The dust is everywhere. I'm not sure what was the duties of cleaning service there. It was a very strong rain when we were staying there. I noticed some windows leakage.It's a nice property, but needs a good maintenance.
This is a back yard with fallen fence. It doesn't look very picturesque.
You can see walking ants on the wall and the the bedroom upstairs

This was the perfect location! Close to town, but away from all the traffic and people. The cabin was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus the owners left a nice welcome basket with some snacks and art projects for the kids. The hot tub was a great way to end the day after all the walking and exploring. I definitely recommend and hope to be back!!

Great little get away

Although arriving late and the code not working. Lawrence got it taken care of rather quickly. Code worked fine the next day. Master was huge. Upstairs not for tall people 6 foot plus. But great for kids. Stay longer than 2 days. Hoy tub was of course my facor par.really appreciated the snack baaker too. Over 9.75 out of 10

A Hallmark Christmas

Our stay at Ruhe Haus was nothing short of amazing. From the Christmas decor in every corner to the location of the property it was our perfect little Christmas getaway. Our children really enjoyed making sā€™mores in the fire pit, outback and roasting marshmallows in the fireplace. There was also a welcome basket, which was a really nice touch with crafts for the kids. We could not recommend this day more.

Great Stay!

This cabin was perfect for my family (2 adults, 2 kids 8 & 1) and my in laws! It was clean, decorated adorably, had lots of items to use, and close to Helen! The hot tub was a favorite!! Definitely a plus! 10/10 stay. Totally recommend and will stay here again!

The most delightful stay

Girls trip to explore the area and Christmas shop. This cabin not only was the perfect location, but it had that cozy/warm feel to it. The host's decorating skills were delightful and impressive. The Christmas theme was in every nook and cranny, but not overdone...so tastefully done down to every window sill and every dish. We were so comfortable there. It was immaculate as well. Very clean, which we appreciated. Everything was labeled and we felt so safe. They even left us a variety of Keurig coffee, teas, waters and snacks. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows and blankets and even full sized fans (which I loved) along with Christmas themed comforters/shower curtains and valances. We appreciated all the personalization in the cabin including the personalized towels and labels on everything. We had two adequate parking spots. It's up a steep hill so make sure you have adequate car power. The hot tub was also delightful after a long day of shopping. The host was very communicative, although we didn't have any issues they were on top of getting us specific instructions regularly which we appreciated immensely. One of the girls bought a hat and left it behind and they graciously mailed it to her. That is going above and beyond. I have stayed in several rentals on vacation and this one by far has been the most outstanding. There were tons of games to play and movies to watch. We felt right at home. I recommend it without reservation and can't wait to come back. The most lovely hosts with the most adorable cabin.

Great getaway!

My friends and I had a great time! This is a nice getaway, but still close enough to great hiking trails and the town of Helen! We really enjoyed our stay.

Cute and Cozy!

Cute and cozy little cabin in the woods. Secluded enough to relax from the hustle and bustle and close enough to Helen and all the fun attractions nearby. Great little spot. The hot tub was an added bonus and was perfect for the cool nights.

Helen and the Falls

The house was great. The hot tub was excellent. Loved the morning sounds of the birds and moisture from the trees as it splattered amongst the leaves. With a cup of coffee in hand on the deck, the time at this cottage was wonderful. It isn't far from exploring Anna Ruby Falls and the village of Helen. Great restaurants and scenic shops. The people were very accommodating and pleasant.

Perfect location

The house was perfect, everything was there and the hot tub was a plus! They had hot tub heated and ready for us to use upon arrival! Just a short drive to every attraction we wanted to visit! Just open the window if it gets too hot upstairs, the breeze was so nice! Get some steak from Bettyā€™s and grill it up. It is also nice to wake up and make coffee, they even have dry creamer, sugar, half and half to go with our coffee. Canā€™t ask for a better house/host!

Hiking The Waterfalls

The cabin was very clean and inviting. Very charming. The location was beautiful and accessible to Helen and the waterfall locations. We enjoyed the hot tub after the hike. Warmed to the bone.

Spring break cabin trip

This cabin was so clean and cozy! It was perfect for me and my friends and our kids for a getaway for spring break! Loved the hot tub and all the games at the cabin. They even had a keurig with k cups and provided snacks and bottled water! Loved being close to Helen to enjoy the good food, shops and other activities!! Would definitely recommend this cabin for a getaway!!

Great New Years Eve

Our family really enjoyed the stay at this cabin. It is in a great location near the Unicoi Park. My wife loved that the house was decorated for Christmas including a Christmas tree. The kids loved their loft upstairs. Perfect for a couple or a family with small kids.
