Cherokee Ridge 6 - The Perfect Little Pet Friendly Getaway

Welcome to your perfect little getaway. With the open floor plan, you can enjoy the gas fireplace and the television from the couch or the king size bed.

The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a standard drip coffee maker. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. The bathroom comes with a full size tub and shower. Enjoy the evening relaxing in the hot tub on the back porch.

Please note that this is an open floor plan or studio cottage. This cottage does not have a private bedroom.

Cherokee Ridge 6 is a group cabin and is perfect for a couples getaway. Located only a couple of miles from Unicoi State Park where you will find swimming, hiking and fishing. It is located approximately 4 to 5 miles from downtown Helen.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Cherokee Ridge 6 is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel up to the property. Low profile vehicles not recommended.
• Pets: Cherokee Ridge 6 is pet-friendly.
• Location: 5 miles to downtown Helen.

Cute Cabin

The cabin was clean, quiet, cute, and close to many activities! The bed was huge and comfortable! The hot tub and firepit were really enjoyable. I loved the porch that was enclosed and wrapped around the cabin. I would stay here again!

Cute little cabin. They’re isn’t any scenery around but that’s ok cause we did a lot of site seeing and didn’t lounge around the cabin. My husband enjoyed the hot tub.

Cherokee Ridge #6 - Perfect Get-Away

This is an adorable little cottage, nicely decorated and appointed. The location was ideal - close to the town of Helen, but more importantly, close to some great hiking trails. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and the property management team were extremely responsive to all of our needs. Our 10 month old German shepherd loved it too!

Adorable pet friendly cabin

This was the perfect cabin to stay in with our pups! We have 2 small dogs that loved staying in the woods and hiking the nearby trails. We never had to go very far for food/activities. The town on Helen was just a few miles away. The cabin was equipped with all necessary items for cooking. We loved the hot tub and privacy in the neighborhood. The hosts were very prompt with responses through email. Would highly recommend them!!

Nice cozy cabin for a couple.

All-in-all a good stay. Nice place for two people. Private: The cabins had sufficient spacing we never knew if we had neighbors. Would have liked to seen directions on how to operate things. The gas fireplace would not turn on unless the logs were bumped, the hot tub pump was on all the time (loud).

Third time here

This has been my third time staying at this property. I like it because it has what you need and is in a great location. Some minor issues that bothered me were that the hot water in the shower doesn't last long enough and the shower head should be replaced with something that doesn't "dump" all the water out at once. I was not a fan of the new electric fireplace. It does not seem to put out enough heat. Other than that, I would stay here again. Communication with property management was good as always.

Hot Tub

Enjoyed the hot tub on the first date. I got an extremely bad skin problem because of too many strong chemicals in the hot tub. I still have itchy problem on my skin.

Comfy, cozy, clean and private cabin for our 40th Anniversary!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our little cabin and hope to return again someday. Nice country drive about 10 minutes from Helen was an efficiency with plenty of room and a fireplace (not wood burning). The hottub motor made noise but that was taken care of quickly with one phone call. The only recommendations are to change the drapes over the front sliding glass door and replace the broken blinds in the main room so they could be opened easily. The cabins on either side were close but there were plenty of trees and shrubs to buffer your privacy. I would love to rent several cabins next time so our grown children can enjoy it too! We loved our time there!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We overall enjoyed our stay! It was a great, private location and plenty of run around room outside for our pup. We were far enough away from the intown hustle and bustle but close enough to jump in the car and go back and forth throughout the day. The only issues that we had was the gas fire place at the hot tub, it wouldn’t stay lit. The maintenance came and replaced the propane immediately and we were grateful for that but even with the new tank the fire would not stay lit. Also, we had to wash our own dishes by hand and strip the bed of sheets and pillowcases. I feel like if we are paying for housekeeping that should be included in the clean up. Outside of those issues we had a great stay and would definitely stay again!
