Cub's Corner adds luxury to log-cabin living with soaring ceilings and a stunning, stacked stone wood-burning fireplace. After a day's adventuring, curl up on the comfortable living room furniture to enjoy a fire as you watch a movie on the flat-screen TV, or make your friends jealous by posting amazing photos courtesy of the free Wi-Fi. The gourmet kitchen has wood floors and granite countertops, updated appliances and everything you need to prepare and serve anything from a simple snack to a lavish brunch. The cabin was very nice with a beautiful view of the mountains. We liked that the location wasn’t too far up on a mountain due to having some winter weather while there.

Property is exactly as advertised. We could not have asked for a better layout for 4 adults and 2 kids. We were close enough to all of the attractions, but far enough away to get away from the touristy areas.

We had a wonderful stay! The first night we had a bear on our deck and another bear with her cub walking along the driveway. Couldn’t have asked for a better start to the trip! Home is super clean and spacious. Make sure you get any groceries/spices you will want, as there are no basic spices,S&P/oil etc.

Awesome Cabin!

I just want to say, I’ve stayed at a few cabins and this was by far my favorite. It was so clean and cozy! Hot tub was amazing and view was spectacular. Did have a slight hiccup though, when we went to check in to cabin around 4:30pm the cleaning crew was still there so we had to wait a little to get in. They were super nice and polite though. That was probably a scheduling issue with the property management but not a huge deal. Will definitely come back

Loved it!

Cub’s Corner was perfect for our family weekend trip! We had 5 adults and 2 tweens and had plenty of room to space out and be comfortable. Exactly as pictured and the location was terrific. Just a quick 15 minute drive to all that Gatlinburg has to offer! And there’s a grocery about 10 minutes away. The kitchen was very well stocked with every tool you could need. We grilled out for every meal and enjoyed lots of time on the deck. The hot tub was small but nice (if you get the error “FL”, just remove the filter and put it back in to clear the message and turn the tub on). The furniture is getting a little worn, but it was comfortable and just fine for our needs. The pool is at the entrance to the grounds so you have to drive to it, but it was very nice and the tweens loved it. We would definitely recommend a stay at Cub’s Corner!!

Family vacation

Stayed here with 5 adults. The space is clean, comfortable and had pretty much everything including plenty of towels and blankets. The living space is a little small and having more than 5 adults would make enjoying watching TV or the fireplace a little tight. The kitchen had plenty of supplies but no pantry items which would have been greatly appreciated.

Fantastic stay with a gorgeous view!

We had a great time at cubs corner! We were a family of six adults so the 3 bedrooms were a perfect fit. The view is even better than the pictures, we spent most of our free time out on the deck even when it rained. The location was great as well. It was close to the action but far enough away that we had options to take alternate routes to avoid the traffic. Some of the pots and pans are on their last leg and weren’t great for cooking meals but we made it work. We tried to bbq one night and it smoked really badly and the igniter didn’t work but we managed to light it manually. We were glad that we didn’t plan on using it for more than one night. Also, the pillows on the beds were not comfy and some of the chairs in the dining room were extremely wobbly, to the point where we couldn’t use a couple. These things were very minor in the grand scheme of things and we would definitely return and recommend this cabin to others!

Cubs corner is just what it is, soon as we got there we saw a beautiful black bear, we saw two more, total three in all that was exiting to see, overall the cabin was clean and comfortable.

Great View

We enjoyed staying at Cub's Corner. We spent a lot of time on the second story porch enjoying the excellent view of the mountains. The house was neat and clean, and the beds were comfortable. There were several other houses around, but you had privacy when you were out on the porch.

Cub corner success

I have nothing but great things to say about our stay at Cub Corner. The house was just as it was advertised and we got to see some bears. It was wonderful. However, and this has nothing to do with the actual house itself but the hot tub water level was low so the jets were out of the water so it was pretty loud so we opted against going in and the grill was left in very bad shape. We had no way of lighting it because the starter was broken on the grill and the lighter they had for us was out of fluid. After we borrowed a lighter from a neighbor and lit the grill the drip pan under the grates was so filthy it started smoking very bad and put out a very strong smell that we didn’t want in our food so we, again, opted not to use it. Other than those two things we would absolutely recommend staying there and we would have no problem staying there again.
