Come away and enjoy your stay at Bear Slide, a beautiful log home located in Black Bear Falls, Gatlinburg's premier log home community. Spread out over two levels, this beautiful 2,450 sq.ft. the cabin provides plenty of spaciousness for everyone to spend time together or retire to either of the four bedrooms for privacy.

Each of the four bedrooms has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom (two of the suites have jetted tubs), flat panel HDTV, BluRay player and deck access to enjoy the spectacular Smoky Mountain views. You'll be able to slip outside in the morning and watch the sunrise or steal away for an evening under the stars without disturbing anyone.

The main level features an open floor plan living/dining and kitchen with split bedrooms. The living area has a stacked stone gas fireplace, 60 inch LCD flat panel TV with HD channels, BluRay player, unlimited streaming NetFlix and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the expansive mountain view. The dining table seats eight comfortably and the breakfast has the seating for five more. The fully equipped kitchen provides major and small appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils, so you can prepare a gourmet feast, a buffet breakfast or an array of appetizers.

The lower level is home within a home. Here you'll find a game room/family room with a pool table, stacked stone gas fireplace, 46 inch LCD flat panel TV with HD channels, BluRay player, unlimited streaming Netflix, whole house audio system with XM, AM, FM, CD and MP3 connections, a mini bar and mini fridge, a computer with high-speed internet access and a six to 8 person hot tub on the deck. This level also features a split bedroom plan. With so much to do, you may never want to venture away from the cabin!

The driveway is tight, but it can accommodate parking for four compact cars. At Black Bear Falls, there are two community seasonal pools available for your enjoyment.

Management company was quick to respond and the unit had everything you would need. View was fantastic! Listing stated coffee maker but didn't say that it had both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig which would have been nice to know before arriving.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Bear Slide. Having four king bedrooms with separate bathrooms was perfect for our group.We explored the beautiful area and spotted wildlife on a daily basis. The home is located in a great area close to everything Gatlinburg offers.

Bear Slide Cabin Vacation

This cabin was perfect! Beautiful home, great location ,beautiful views. Four private bedrooms each with full baths. It was clean and well kept. 10 people/3 generations all felt comfortable here. The 2large balconies and hot tub gave us plenty of outdoor space. The pool was a short drive down the hill and so much fun. We were able to fit our 4 SUVs.

Gatlinburg mountain house

The house was perfect for 4 couples. Each had own bedroom and bathroom. However the house was on a very steep grade. You couldn't just go for a walk, which we like to do. Also very remote location. Nice house, but location & neighborhood not right for us. Wouldn't return.

Family gathering

Bear slide was an excellent home for us to gather our four family units for a week of hanging out together. The home size was right and we had a decent view of the smokies from the deck. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Driveway was tough for four cars, but we managed. Downside was not being able to walk anywhere from the house due to steep elevations. Small annoyance was toilet paper was limited (manager said only one roll per toilet for our week stay) and trash not picked up midweek as we requested. Beautiful home overall.

Family fun at Bear Slide

This is a beautiful property with great views of the mountains, plenty of space for seven adults to relax, as well as large areas to gather for meals or games together. The driveway is challenging but it worked for our 2 vehicles.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is beautiful and perfect for family and friends. The hot tub is nice and the views are amazing!! The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only negative was the parking for 4 compact SUVs. If the vehicles were any larger, they wouldn't have fit in the driveway. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great views

House had amazing views. We had four cars which was very tight. There were a few repairs that needed to be done during our stay like a light bulb out in a bathroom, shower head that sprayed all over and flooded the bathroom and a toilet that rattled the pipes when filling up. Maintenance was quick to come out and address everything which was much appreciated. We saw quite a few bears also. If we come back I would definitely rent this house again.

Beautiful Property

This house was beautiful. 4 Large king size beds, many televisions, internet access, very spacious. The bathrooms were large and most all had large tubs in addition to the shower. We even saw 4 bears! Nothing was broken or not working so we never even had to contact the owner. Location is not in Gatlinburg traffic yet just over 2 miles from everything. The only negative is the driveway can be a little hard to get into but you can honestly say that about many places near the Smoky Mountains. Overall, really enjoyed our stay a lot!

Great Property and Location.

We had an awesome week. Everything about property and area was better than expected. Communication with management team was excellent, whenever we posted questions they got right back to us. I would recommend more towels for kitchen and bath, and more tissue paper for bathrooms but otherwise just about a perfect time staying there. Would highly recommend. Fred Howard

Beautiful Views

The house was great for us. It had plenty of room & everything we needed to cook our meals. The view of the mountains was the best. We sat on the deck every evening and watched the sun go down & stars come out. The only negative was that the house needed dusting. We enjoyed the many televisions and were able to figure out how to operate them, but had an issue with the main TV in the living area. We finally got it to work after some troubleshooting. All in all I would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Wonder Stay

Beautiful views and close to the fun! Our only issue was that they only left 5 towels. We were scrambling to find anything that would work but I understand that is on the third party cleaning staff. Great time!

Five 🌟 trip

I really enjoyed the amazing views of the ⛰ from the balconies and the cabin was ber cozy and very spacious.I loved the gameroom and theater room.

Bear View fall trip

Beautiful chalet and great views. Visited by bears one morning g early, they left before we could see them but was still exciting for kids to know they had been there. We wish the bed covers were cleaner, some had a smell and our smoke alarm in bedroom started beeping one night as we went to bed and couldn’t get any help. The ad mentioned Netflix but only one tv had it and we had trouble with all the tv instructions and downstairs fridge was frozen and had to defrost and clean up before using. Overall is was beautiful and peaceful but wish we didn’t have so many other issues

Great place.

There were 7 of us. It was fantastic to have a private bathroom with each king bedroom. There was seating enough for extra family members to come and share dinner. There were a couple of necessary adjustments which were notified to the management company. (furniture & tv) Otherwise: Wonderful!!
