This beautiful classic home is located in the heart of North Falmouth. It is 5 minutes or less to everything you would want on a family vacation: beaches, Shining Sea bike path, tennis courts, playgrounds, restaurants, ice cream and shopping.
The first floor has a large mudroom, comfortable desk area for those who may occasionally need to work on vacation, large kitchen with dining table, living room, music room with baby grand piano and half bathroom. The second floor has three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a full size bed and the third bedroom has two twin sized beds. The bathroom on this floor is quite unique in the fact that the laundry and double sink vanity area are in one room and connected to that, is a room with a separate toilet and tub/shower, as well a third room that has another toilet and a shower stall.
The basement has a finished family room with "L" shaped couch and large screen TV.
Outside, we have a brick courtyard with gas grill, dining table, lounge chairs, outdoor shower and outdoor fireplace.

Wonderful Family rental in N Falmouth

The property and location are spectacular and offer peace and quiet along with comfort and full amenities. The beach options were our favorite on the Cape. Bob & Susan were great communicators and even provided us with some hx of the home upon our request. We highly recommend and hope to return.

This is a beautiful property; all of the amenities and details were high quality. Check in was very easy. The kitchen appliances and utensils were delightful. The openkitchen and dinning area is beautiful, easy to cook in and a wonderful space to gather.

Great trip!

We had a wonderful stay in the house. We had three adults, and two kids (one who naps and one who is always loud), and there was plenty of room to spread out. The house was clean, and location was very convenient. We will definitely want to come back!

Beautiful property

Everything about the property and area was perfect for us! Exactly as described with many personal touches that made our stay here wonderful. High end appliances, comfortable furnishings and luxurious linens. Close proximity to beaches, biking trail, Falmouth Main Street and the family owned general store on the corner!

Wonderful home close to beaches and downtown.

This is a beautiful home with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The house is spacious, well stocked, and ideally located. The piano was a wonderful surprise and provided after dinner entertainment for my family. The hosts responded quickly to a question we had. I would definitely return to this amazing vacation home.

Great House

We rented this house for a week in July and throughout communication with Robert and Susan was great. The property was clean and very well appointed. A true home from home with a few extras included. There were some minor issues with a door lock and the hot tub but again communication with the owners was first class. Great house in a good location. We’d certainly recommend!

Great location!

This house was in a great location - close to bike trails, beaches, shopping, etc. The large kitchen, bedrooms and main bath were also very accommodating for our family of 5. The few negatives were that we had some issues with the wifi in the house and a few appliances that weren't working. The air conditioners were also very loud. Minor problems, we would definitely book here again.

Hi Christopher, Thank you for leaving the house in such good condition when you left and taking the time to write a positive review. I am so sorry to hear you had some issues with the appliances. We have brand new "back-up" small appliances at the ready just for this type of situation. Please text or email me with the specific items that needed attention so we can fix/replace them immediately for our future guests. Regarding the wifi, I'm not sure what the problem was unless it was something with the provider at the time. We just called Xfinity and they checked the speeds and modem said things were fine. We have a 200 mbps download speed and a 10 mbps upload speed which so far, has been sufficient for our guests. They explained that if too many devices were streaming videos or music at the same time, that it would cause the connection to be bogged down and not work well. Window air conditioners can be noisy. Unfortunately, I think it's the "nature of the beast" for that type of unit. I wish the manufacturers would list the somes on the box when you buy them because I know they can be loud. If there was one in particular you had an issue with, please let me know which one and we will look into it and see if there is a problem. We wish the issues were brought to our attention while you were still at the house so we could have resolved them during your stay. It is our goal to always have everything in perfect working order for our guests. We live in the area so we can generally be at the house to resolve any issues within an hour and we make it our top priority that our guests are taken care of and that we exceed their expectations. Great home and location

House is beautiful and very well kept. Close to the beach and bike trail. Small general store, practically right next door, was perfect for anything we forgot. Outdoor area is wonderful for spending the evenings around a fire pit. Boston is only an hour away, so we spent a day there too. Great suggestions of places to go and explore in the house manual. A hike to The Knob was very nice and we took some amazing pics there.

Hands-down the best property ever!

I have been using VRBO for over 17 years to plan countless vacations. I would rate this property in the top 2 of any we have reserved. The hosts have thought of everything you might need to enjoy your stay. The house was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and the amenities were generous. As busy as the roads on Cape Cod can get, we felt the location was ideal. We had several different family members staying in places around Falmouth, but usually ended up at "our" house, as it lent itself to family gatherings; plenty of dishes, pots/pans, condiments, etc. We enjoyed coffee on the lovely patio every morning and wine and cigars out there in the evenings. The beds were comfortable, the linens were plush, the towels were plentiful. It was great having a washer and dryer. I always worry about odors in a house as that is one thing you can't see in pictures. This house was odor-free - no smoke, no mold/mildew, no funky "old house" smells. The unique bathroom upstairs worked out well for us. Backing out of the driveway required paying close attention due to the lay of the land (curve in the road and small rise nearby making visibility a challenge), but overall was not a problem. The listing is very accurate. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem

Beautiful house in north Falmouth. I went to the house with my two adult sons and my daughter. We had a very nice time and the house was fully equipped with anything and everything you might need for a beach vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked and we loved getting fresh muffins at the local general store. Hoping on the bike path was a treat. And old silver was a quick ride away.

Clean and convenient!

The property was pristine! Very well appointed and had everything we needed for our week long stay. My children are good listeners and were respectful of the house rules. The house is centrally located to easily access all that Falmouth has to offer. The owners were responsive when we did need something!

Excellent house

This house is excellent, do not hesitate to book it! It was very clean in every room. We brought our own sheets but then saw theirs were perfectly clean so just used those. There are window AC units in each bedroom and the kitchen, which cooled those areas down well. Owner Bob was super nice and easy. We had zero issues with the house and enjoyed it so much, we were sad to leave! One thing not seen in the pics is the outdoor shower, but note that is not enclosed on all 4 sides. It is open on two sides. This is fine for a pre-hottub rinse when wearing a swim suit, which is how we used it. The upstairs bathroom is as described and perfectly clean. I do think it may be hard/awkward to share this bathroom with non-family as you do sort of pass each other in the bathroom. We were all family so it was fine. The hot tub is very clean and a big hit, it gives you something to "do" when home during down time. Overall, I most highly recommend this house, you won't be disappointed!

Exceeded all expectations!

The house was beautiful and the layout and functionality was perfect. You will not be disappointed staying here. The location to the beaches and the bike trail made everything simple. We will be building an outdoor shower at our home ASAP after staying here. The house and kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could imagine needing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Home with us. We will be back.

Classic Falmouth Beauty

The McCabes’ home is lovely and well appointed. Beautiful decor, very classisms Cape Cod. A great kitchen for those who love to cook! Having the general store next door is so convenient and bike path and beaches nearby are all pluses. Our family stayed here in 2017 and we felt great about returning for another stay!

Second Year at this Property

We simply can't get enough of this house/area. I hate staying in the same area two years in a row for vacation as I typically like to try new things. However, this house is in such great condition, in a wonderful location, and the owners are so unbelievably hospitable that we had to come back. We did NOT regret it at all. The house has everything you would ever need for a vacation, and there is a strong possibility we'll be back for the third year! Thanks Bob and Susan!

Great house!

We had an amazing vacation in Cape Cod. The owners were very easy to work with and communicated quickly. We enjoyed their recommendation of Epic Oyster! Food was amazing! We can’t wait to go back to Martha’s Vineyard and hopefully check out Nantucket. We loved the location of the house. We read that it could be difficult backing out of the driveway but we had no issues. I would definitely recommend this house to others!
