I want to start by being completely objective. The property manager Sue was very attentive and responsive to issues. With that said, upon arrival there were many things we observed and had to deal with in our short time. First the post states this is a "fully remodeled" unit. While the kitchen and bath have been redone, the remainder of the unit is not fully remodeled and quite aged. We initially had 2 doors be broken, a bathroom cabinet and sliding screen door that had to be repaired while we were there. Along with that, of the 2 TVs available, 1 TV had clearly been dropped with large dead areas, and the other had broken speakers meaning we watched TV on our laptop the entire time. I do not get to take vacations often and the fact that we kept getting pulled out of our vacation to deal with these things were greatly disappointing. If I were honest, I would not stay here again.

Great spot to be able to wander to Kam 3, just across the street. Good body surfing and boogie boarding or just playing in the waves. Has a beach to sun on too. Pool was nice. Place was clean, itā€™s on the first floor.

Beautiful property

The property and location is perfect. I wanted to take away a star but the new until we had to move to due to these issues was wonderful. To start, this unit is right across from the beach and next to the pool, walking distance to stores, gift shops, convenient stores and restaurants. It was convenient because we were bottom floor so we were able to walk right off the back porch area to go places. The down side is it is right by the property manager office and elevators so people were always waking by. The issue we had, we needed up having a water leak 2 days into our stay. The first morning we woke up to water down the hallway, using towels to mop it up and calling the property manager, then the listing agent to get it looked at. They thought it was another unit causing issues and thought it to be fixed. At this point we are constantly washing towels to keep up with the water. The next day we came back from being gone and there was water down the hallway, so we called again and they sent a plumber that said it was actually our unit with the leak. We were told they would try and find us another unit that was like ours, by late that day they had found us a unit and we moved. We were offered an extra late check out for our dealings with the water.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let me start off by saying that weā€™ve stayed in this unit 6yrs ago and loved it. Since we enjoyed our stay the first time we decided to stay again at 105 Maui Parkshore. Things went sideways right upon arrival. When we went to make dinner and start putting away our groceries we noticed bugs in all the kitchen drawers. The master bathroom drain was also clogged along with the bathroom toilet not flushing properly. We called first thing the following morning to let management know. When speaking with them we felt they were very short with us and frustrated in regards to our concerns. We didnā€™t even get to address all our issues over the phone so we left them a note for when they came to inspect/fix issues. We were gone when they came over to address the problems. They left us a note stating the bugs were cockroaches and that they put out bait stations. (7 to be exact!) They did fix the shower drain, but the toilet still never flushed properly. The note stated if things were not better in 24-48hrs to call back. Late Saturday afternoon I called the office back to inform them that the cockroaches were not any better. She informed me that weā€™d see more due to the bait but would take up to a week to die off! She said sheā€™d send someone over the next day to address the issue and put out more stuff. Sheā€™d also call the pest control company to have everything re-evaluated Monday morning. Prior to our arrival the unit was treated on May1st. The course of the next couple of days things got worse. We killed multiple large cockroaches and babies. Our final straw was 3 large roaches in 24hrs. We never left windows or doors open either. No one spending $3.8k for a place to stay should have to deal with what we did. Our total compensation was less then $140 and was told weā€™d have to pack up and leave in a hour or we would be charged for a nights stay. Not only was our vacation tarnished with stress, but our 10yr spent her birthday movin

Location

This property has drive up access for unloading of luggage and groceries. Adequate supplies to get you started on your holiday. It is across the street from Kamaole 111 and adjacent to the property pool. We would definitely stay here again. It is by the entrance to lobby and elevators, but the property is fairly quiet, and the people are all friendly.

Family mid winter break

Our first trip to Maui and could not believe how nice it was. The code we rented was close to everything, simple checkin, fully stocked with fridge essentials , paper towels and even kurig coffee pods. Boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, towels ā€¦ could not have asked for more!! Loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property is in a prime location directly across a busy street from the beach. No extra toilet paper, garbage sacks, etc. so you must purchase yours. No air conditioning and it was HOT each day along with being quite muggy. Furniture and beds were good and comfortable. Showers were quite good. Refrigerator barely kept food cool...definitely not cold, but the muggy nature of the outside/inside air may have played into that. Very well located to stores, restaurants, etc. and only 11-12 miles from larger selection along with food trucks, etc. Lots of birds to enjoy of various types...most were introduced to the island many, many years ago. Sea turtles were commonly seen each day (endangered species). Pool was very nice and was never crowded. A Safeway store is only 2 miles away. Costco and other larger stores were the 11-13 miles away. We'd recommend, but know that the nights never really cool enough to be comfortable...but we are from a much cooler area of the US and we'd guess that this issue will be a non-issue for most visitors.

The fridge with its ice snd water dispenser was super fabulous!But the condo could use a good cleaning (couch/pillows/rugs/floors) and the bedspreads need to be replaced and 3 out of the 4 beach chairs were broken and need to be replaced as week. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed 10 days as a family in this condo. The condo is very well stocked and very clean. Lots of linens, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, etc. The one recommendation we'd make is to clean the wall on the lanai where there are hooks as it's rather dirty so not great for hanging up items. The location is amazing - steps from the Kam III beach. A few good restaurants close by, and even more a short drive away as well. The pool is clean as are the grounds - very well maintained. The unit is on the first floor so would recommend not leaving anything out on the lanai or it could go missing. We didn't mind that the lanai is by the entrance and loading area, but we didn't mind that and found it convenient for unloading groceries or loading up to go out for the day.

Perfect for our group would definitely return.

This property was amazing. Not gonna lie, the pictures were nice but when we got there it was better than anticipated. Very comfy, cozy and just felt like home. It was tucked in the corner of the building complex and we thought it was perfect. We loved that the sun didnā€™t shine so bright into our condo because that meant less heat coming inside. Lol There were things there for you when you arrived that we would have never thought of but needed (paper, pens, grocery bags, beach chairsā€¦ etc) The location was perfect. Just a short crossing of the street to get the the beach. Accommodations were excellent! Sleeping arrangements were spot on for what we needed. The little touches in the house were fantastic. Abundance of towels and sheets were provided. Beds were comfy. The only negatives were no A/C but that was expected and they provided a lot of fans to accommodate. And when you open the door and screen door to let the air it, itā€™s flows nicely through the House. And no bathroom vent fans. Which made it a little warm when getting ready. But, even with that, it still doesnā€™t knock any starts down for us. We would definitely recommend and return back to this home. Also, great customer service, when contacting host. Thank you again!

Great access to the beach, but needs some updating.

My family and I spent two weeks in this condo to visit family in the area, and had a great time while we were there. The unit definitely has some positives and negatives, which I will try to list below. Positives: * Directly across the street from the beach * Updated kitchen and baths * Nice pool and grill area Negatives: * Condition of the unit and furnishings not as nice as they appear in the pictures. * Towels were soiled, and in need of replacement * Bed linens were old, and did not match the size of the beds * Closets and kitchen cabinets were so full of extraneous items that it was hard to fit our clothes and groceries. * The unit can be noisy, it is located near the main entry, and there is frequent traffic from people loading and unloading their cars and from tradespeople who are working on the property. * The cleanliness of the unit was just mediocre. All in all we enjoyed our trip in Maui, and the convenient access to the beach, but ultimately we were disappointed that this unit did not live up to its promise.

Nice condo but NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY

The property is really nice. Very comfortable. I really liked the condo, BUT Not any privacy as this property its right by the door that leads into the building with the elevator. So everyone who walks into the building looks right at us. The property is not family friendly. The onsite manager was very unwelcoming. We felt very uncomfortable. He scolded us in the pool twice. Once in the dark. Like he was watching us. Another time he came in and told the girls they need their hair put up. We received a notice on our door that the lanai was not tidy enough. The pool had no furniture to sit on while there. You have to sign up to use the pool. Can only use it one hour a day. Had to sit on the concrete to watch the kids. The kids were throwing a tiny hackysack sized floating ball and the property manager told the kids that they are not allowed to throw anything on the property. We watched the onsite manager scold several people in the pool. I spoke to one other family who was having the same problems happen to them. This is the second time staying at this condo complex. It will be my last. If you have kids. Do not stay here. The pool has so many rules you are basically able to get in the water and that's it. No floaties, no Marco Polo, no goggles, no pool toys at all. Basically NO FUN. I did contact the property manager who we booked with and they were nice but all they could do is tell me they would talk to condo association. I have never felt so unwelcome at a place I've stayed at ever. The onsite had no problem scolding us, but the pot smokers got to smoke away and pollute our air every day. I would have though that was a bigger infraction then the girls not having their hair in a pony tail.

Wonderful setup near beaches, food, etc. Easy to drive to many other island locations. Safe and secure, well-appointed home away from home!

DO NOT RENT THIS CONDO!!! We came in late at night owner had a lock box on the air conditioner. We called and emailed the next morning to get it activated at an extra $15 a day no problem for us. Owner had Maui condo maintenance come in and remove the sticker on ac unit and turn it completely off and leave us a fan. We also asked for additional fan it was so hot and they would not accommodate do to owner saying no. We couldnā€™t even leave the doors and windows open to try and bring air in at night due to neighbors smoking Tobacco and marijuana it would fill the unit with smoke. We left 2 days early and ask for a refund which Iā€™m sure we will not get. To top it off our daughter is 6 months pregnant and I practically begged for ac to be reactivated it was so muggy and hot!!!! Miserable place to stay! Thanks for making our family vacation a nightmare! šŸ˜”

Great place to stay. Great location. Great pool. Really nice people in the other units. Very nice unit, and it really made our vacation perfect
