Fantastic cottage for a weekend family getaway....beautiful setting and a great base to explore the Kawartha's.The cottage is well stocked especially the kitchen.Pat & Harry were very prompt and clear at messaging.Highly recommended!

Well stocked kitchen for cooking with quite an assortment of pots, bowls and utensils. Everything was very clean and spacious. We found all of the couches, chairs and mattresses to be extremely comfortableWe found the location very convenient to Bobcayeon and FenelonWe were not swimmers so we didn’t mind that you can’t swim off of the dock. Instead we delighted in a great blue heron standing on the dock. Lovely flower planters everywhere. - charming and well maintained

Lakeview is minimal, especially with overgrown cedars. You can see a bit of lake from 1/2 the dock.Everyone’s leftovers should be removed…makes it untidy. Ie. Shampoos, almost empty toothpaste tube, A bit of touch ups of paint around bathroom mirror and scuffed areas would make it more appealing when you went in.Vacuuming between couch cushions should be done.I do have issues with scents and that’s on me for NOT letting owner know…but, I found at least 8 different plugins, candles, scented objects which was not a treat to search and pack away, leaving horrible mixture of smells for anyone.Could barely reach the cord for fan/light in living room.Would’ve replaced garbage bags IF we could find them.Garbage, compost info was not very clear.I am being picky to suggest ideas for an even better experience but generally everything seemed quite clean.

Regarding the lake view, our listing does note that the cottage is situated in a cove, and the surrounding cedars are part of the natural setting. We’ll also review the other items you mentioned, including paint touch\-ups, cleaning between cushions, garbage/compost instructions, and supplies\. This property was very peaceful and quiet. It had everything anyone would need. It was close to golfing and the Kawartha ice cream store. . It was close to beaches for swimming. We enjoyed our time there.

Lovely family vacation

We had a wonderful time, the hosts were easy to get a hold of and checked in throughout our stay. The sunroom was perfect for the entire family to hang out in and provided a space for us to hang out after the kids went to bed.

We loved the cottage, the screened porch was a bonus. The location close to Bobcageon and Fenelon Falls was great. Our only disappointment was not being able to swim off the dock.

Great cottage and extras. We highly recommend this propery. Lake was a bit of a disappointment as we didn't catch any fish and we brought our boat mainly for that reason.

We had a great stay here! The pictures were very accurate and the view was super beautiful. We took the pedal boat and the kayaks out! Very fun! Harry and Pat were great hosts and responded to my messages almost instantly. They really made sure we had a comfortable stay and our baby was very happy at their place. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked that there were puzzles and board games too. Would definitely go back for another relaxing vacation.

Midweek Getaway

We had a nice relaxing stay at this property. The location was perfect for us to visit the surrounding towns and lakes. The waterfront was very peaceful. Although we had brought puzzles with us, there was no need to unpack them as the host had plenty of books, puzzles, games and water equipment for us to use during our stay. We look forward to booking again next year.

Cozy cottage

This cottage was lovely and plenty of room for 3 sisters getaway in the fall. Nice to have a sunroom with wood burning stove, and gas FP inside too. All the amenities..nice area to walk too. Would go again!

Thanksgiving Break

A really excellent property. Great location on lake and not far from Fenelon Falls. The wood burner gives the property plenty of character and it is extremely well equipped. Would definitely come back again.

Fabulous Rental

Property was exactly as listed - absolutely lovely! Great spot for a get away with family. Communication with the owners was prompt and pleasant. Cottage had everything we needed. Short drive into town with lots of shops and activities. Access to paddle boats and kayaks was a really nice bonus! We will definitely book here again!

Very nice place to stay

The listing is accurate and the property was very pleasant. The cottage is clean and well appointed. Communication with the owner was timely and helpful. The weather was cool and rainy so we didn't experience the local swimming but we really enjoyed the screened in proch. I would definitely recommend this property

Wonderful cottage rental

We had a wonderful week at this property. It was exactly as advertised which we appreciated very much. The hosts were quick to respond to any inquiries and proactively provided all the information we required. The cottage is fully equipped and the information provided made it easy to bring only what we needed. Cottage is lovely, well kept and close to all amenities. We would definitely visit again !
