Dear Ana, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay at our property during Thanksgiving. We've carefully reviewed your comments and would like to address the concerns you raised. It's surprising to hear about issues with the couch and blankets, especially given your message upon check-out expressing gratitude and stating, "We loved your house." This contrasts with your current review, and we wish these concerns had been communicated during your stay. Regarding the towels, we provide both new and retired towels for pet convenience. To avoid any misunderstanding, the stained, retired towels are kept in a basket above the washer and dryer. Concerning the grass length, we mow our yard regularly, and it had been mowed a few days before your check-in. We regret any inconvenience and would have gladly arranged for additional maintenance during your 7-day stay if you had communicated your preference. The torn highchair became apparent during our post-check-out inspection, and our intention in communicating this finding was transparency, not an attempt to create discord. We were disheartened by your confrontational response, threatening us with a negative review. Our commitment to open communication is evident in the note on our refrigerator, which states, "*If something is not satisfactory to you, please contact us within 24 hours of check-in." We encourage guests to take advantage of this policy to address any concerns promptly. We appreciate your previous positive sentiments and regret that our recent interaction has led to a less-than-ideal experience. We wish you well in your future travels.
