Charming Ski Chalet Minutes From Okemo Mountain!

Less than 3 miles to Okemo mountain. It is a 4-5 minute drive, we clocked it! Located in the South Hills neighborhood of Ludlow, we are off of a private road, very secluded!

Everything was furnished in 2016, beds, couches, flat screen TV's, all the way down to sheets, towels and everything imaginable in the kitchen! Keurig machine on main level for your own personalized cup of coffee!

Our home has three levels of finished space for you and your family and friends! As you walk in the front door you will notice the large mudroom to hang your ski's and coats, etc, after a long day on the slopes! The rest of this floor includes one large bedroom, "The Bromley Room", and one small bedroom, "The Magic Room", with a full bath as well as a combination living room-dining room and fully stocked kitchen. Did we mention the foosball table and flat screen tv? Those are all there for your enjoyment as well!

Up the stairs to the second level and you will find two more full bedrooms, "The Okemo Room" and "The Stratton Room", and another full bath. There is also another living room and dining room combination as well as a fully stocked kitchen again! Great for hanging out with large or small groups. You can enjoy a fire on this level in our fireplace! Belly up to the bar if you like or just enjoy watching the flat screen while taking in views of Okemo mountain through the wall of windows from the couch! Even better, step outside to the huge deck and take a closer look at the amazing views of the mountain and surrounding countryside. You may even see a deer or two!

Up one more set of stairs to the third floor where there is a large loft with a futon couch and den like area to find a quiet corner to read a book or just hang out. You will also enjoy the arcade game with over 60 classic games to choose from! We challenge you to beat our high scores in Ms. Pacman, Galaga or Donkey Kong! There is also a separate large bedroom "The Loft Bedroom", with a small full bath on this level as well.

We are not a “seasonal” rental option as we enjoy using the home too, for ski weekends. You are welcome to reserve available weeks or weekends of course! Thank you for considering our home for your ski trip!

Host was great, left clear instructions. Home was as advertised, clean and with plenty of beds/bathrooms for our whole group. Very comfortable for a large group or several families staying together. Close to town and slopes. Would stay again!

Great Stay

We had a great stay at the house for a family reunion. Perfect number of beds and great space. Rob was very responsive with all of our questions. Short ride to Okemo for great skiing.

Perfect for three families

We had an amazing weekend stay at the house. It was ideal for our three family get-together, with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Excellent and prompt communication from owner, and reliable snowplowing made our ski weekend at Okemo great. Would recommend without hesitation.

Clean and Well Stocked

The house was in great shape and very well stocked. We cooked for a large group and had every pot and pan we could need. Spacious and clean. The host was communicative and agreeable, making things quite easy for us. We're frequent travelers to the area and this house will stay on our list.

MLK Getaway

Fun spot for a ski weekend! We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Ample space. Well stocked kitchen. Video game console entertained our teens (and 2 Dads). Quick 7 minutes to Okemo. Rob was incredibly helpful and communicative.

Winter ski weekend

Property was better than the pictures. We were 3 families and everyone had space to hang out and interact. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and staples. House was private, nice view of the slopes, kids loved the video game console, and was a short drive to Okemo. Will likely return!

Birthday weekend

Perfect place to celebrate my (skier) husband’s birthday with the WHOLE family! Rob was a gracious host and very quick to answer all questions. Half of the 10 of us are skiers and half are not but plenty of fun for everyone! The bottom floor is a complete apartment all by itself so one group of 5 settled very comfortably there. We took the main floor and the rest of the family had the loft….PLENTY of room to be together (or apart!). Also Rob has a binder with lots of helpful info.

Great Getaway!

This house was simply perfect for our long weekend ski trip. Clean, extremely spacious, stocked with all you need (and then some!), while being very close to town and the mountain. Our host was so friendly and responsive and gave excellent recommendations that helped make our stay even better. We look forward to our next visit and hope to stay here again.

Great home for a ski weekend

This house was perfect for our Okemo ski weened. The rooms comfortably accommodated our group of 6 adults and 5 children, with several options for sleeping configurations, which can be challenging when traveling with large groups. The different floors and games provided enough activities and space to make everyone happy. Rob went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and easy. The house is super close to the town and Okemo mountain, and the view of the mountain from the porch is idyllic.

Great ski vacation home

This house was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 3 children. There were plenty of sleeping spaces for everyone to be comfortable. We loved hanging out together in the main room with a fire! The kids had a great time playing on the arcade game. All around the house was great and we wouldn’t change a thing! It’s proximity to town and the ski mountain were perfect.

Wonderful stay

My extended family and I had a wonderful stay at this amazing house! It was roomy, very clean, extremely well equipped and exactly as advertised. The layout is great for 2 groups and there is plenty of space to spread out after a long day of skiing. The furnishings are updated and very comfortable. The amenities are top notch - they have thought of everything you could possibly imagine. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this house for any large family or group. I cannot wait to go back!

Great stay

We had a great time staying at Robs house. It was clean, spacious and perfect for our three families. Rob was accommodating and quick to respond even giving helpful with suggestions. The house was the perfect distance to okemo and to town. I would definitely recommend the house and definitely stay there again.

Great home for a Okemo Ski trip!

Everything about this rental was great. The owner was easy to get in touch with and very responsive to any questions. The location of the home is perfect for an Okemo trip or just visiting the area. We spent most of our time on the 2nd floor and the common space is large and perfect for relaxing or playing a board game. The house was well stocked with the expected items, and all the bedrooms were a nice size. This is definitely a home we will be looking to rent again.

Ideal lodging for ski trip to Okemo

We could not be happier with our experience at this property. It was the perfect set up for 5 moms and 5 teenage boys. Plenty of space, clean and fully stocked with a beautiful view of Okemo. To top it off, the Chalet is minutes to the mountain! I highly recommend and look forward to staying here again.

Great location and amenities

We were a total of 3 families staying in the house. The tweens had their own living area/hangout on the first floor while the adults had a living room on the second floor. The kitchen/dining room could seat all 12 us at the same time. The home was clean and well-stocked with towels, extra blankets, kitchen supplies, and paper supplies. We had a beautiful view of the mountain from the dining room. 4 minutes from downtown and very convenient to both Clocktower and Jackson Gore. Chatted with the owner before our trip, and he gave great recommendations and tips. Didn’t need to contact the owner during our trip because all was well, but I’m sure he would have been immediately responsive. Would not hesitate to recommend this property!

Nice ski weekend with friends

My group of 12 had a great stay at Rob’s place over MLK weekend. The house is a short 5-10 minute drive from Okemo and Ludlow. But it’s also tucked away in the hills that you can have some privacy with a lovely view of Okemo. The house is modern, clean, well stocked, and relaxing. Rob was quick to respond. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We spent a lot of time determining that Ludlow and Okemo mountain was the right location for us. We loved that it is so close to the mountain and nearby lakes for Summer fun. It is also centrally located so that you can make it to the Manchester outlet shops and the Mt. Snow area in around 45 minutes to an hour. Magic Mountain and Bromley are roughly 30 minutes away. Stratton is about 45 minutes away. You can also get to Killington in about a half hour, so lots of mountains to choose from for skiing nearby! You can also head more torwards the central part of VT in about 2 hours where you will find the Ben and Jerry's factory, local breweries and many other fun things to do as well as Stowe!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We really loved this house from the first time we stepped inside of it. From the proximity to Okemo to its secluded nature off a private road, it really has everything we wanted. We love the huge deck to see the mountain even better! The 3 levels of living space really allows you to spread out! The wall of windows on the second floor really takes your breath away! We also liked having two kitchens and two living room and dining areas to really have the ability to spread out in the home if desired. Can't beat the fireplace! Just a really great property!
