This is an exceptional village home with refurbished wood floors and attention to detail throughout. Thoughtfully renovated to maintain the integrity of the original home, while updating the essentials for a modern lifestyle. This 5 bedroom, 2 and a half bath home is located on the Okemo shuttle route for a quick lift to the slopes and just a short walk to downtown.

The house can sleep 12 adults in beds.
1st floor Bunk Room: 4 single bunk beds
2nd floor Room 1: 1 King Bed, 1 day bed
2nd floor Room 2: 2 Single Beds
2nd Floor Room 3: 1 Double Bed
2nd Floor Room 4: 1 Queen Bed

House offers a washer and dryer, full service kitchen, mud/ski room with boot dryers and equipment storage as well as Keyless door (so don't have to worry about carrying keys skiing), living room with flat screen TV, dinning room that can seat 8, and a front and side porch. Home offers parking for cars in the driveway. There is also wifi throughout the house. 30 Years old and up to rent.

The host was very welcoming and helpful, He was very responsive and quick to respond. He also answered any questions we had and provided recommendations. The house had more than enough amenities (towels, sheets, blankets, kitchenware, etc. for a large group). The boot room with all the dryers and place to store skis, boots, and jackets was nice and helped keep the house dry.

Great Family Trip

It was a perfect fit for our family of 4 adults and 6 kids. We had a great time and all of the essentials we needed were there. The drive to Okemo couldn’t have been easier and there’s so many great places to eat out in Ludlow. We would definitely book this place again if we make another trip to this area.

Great Stay

Great visit in Ludlow

The property is very nice - well decorated for a rental property - and extremely convenient for skiing at Okemo (as described). Having linens and towels provided was very useful, too. The place worked very well for two families with kids of varied ages; the well set-up ski room and mud room easily accommodated our needs . The driveway/parking area was wide enough to allow us to shuffle 3 cars for different schedules.

Home base for a wedding

We stayed for one evening after a family wedding. While it was a quick trip, we were grateful to have a place where many of us could stay and visit together. The house was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. If walls could talk they’d echo with the laughter we left behind! Thanks for a great stay!

Great location

We had a great weekend! The house was very comfortable , clean and had everything we needed. More than enough towels, blankets, kitchen plates/glasses/utensils. The mudroom/ski storage room is fantastic! We walked to restaurants, a few shops and the boys even walked back from golf! The owner was great to work with and extremely responsive. We would absolutely stay again!

Charming home

We stayed just briefly from 9:30 pm to 8:30 am, but we were great full to find a home in Ludlow that would rent to five friends who were traveling further North. There is no air conditioning.

Excellent Birthday Weekend

We rented the house for a birthday weekend and had 3 families join us. Was great to have everyone in one house, and the house accommodated all very well which isn't always easy to do. Mud room is amazing. Shuttle bus to mountain was perfect - first on (so there is always room) and first off at the end of the day. You can tell the owners take care of the house and want you to enjoy the stay. Will rent again!

If you can’t be slope side this is the next best thing.

This is a great house in a terrific location. Very close to downtown Ludlow and on the ski shuttle route. We were two families with seven kids and there was plenty of space for everyone. The living room had uber comfortable couches. All eleven of us fit around the dining room table. Easy entry with keypad into the best mudroom ever. We were able to get all our ski gear on easily. We all loved it and would go back again. Only thing missing is a hot tub, which would make this place over the top.

Nice, plenty of beds, good ski room/house

Had a group of 9 with my adult children and some friends. The house has plenty of bed space. Location is nice - we walked 10 mins to coffee shop on Main St. 2 mile drive to Okemo base. The house is old but well maintained. The ski room was great - so much space and racks to organize gear. We even used the boot warmer. We cooked all of our breakfast and dinner meals there - the kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. The only knock was some of the mattresses are old and worn. My wife and I kept rolling to the middle of the bed in the room we stayed.

Cozy, convenient and felt like home

Location was great, just 5 min drive to Okemo. The boot room was probably my favorite feature. We were there with 3 families and this made managing all of our equipment very convenient. House was very clean and felt homey. Communication with the owner was great. Kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes, all the kitchen gadgets you could want and great pans for cooking. Beds were comfortable and house was very clean. Only complaint was that we ran out of hot water after multiple showers in a row and we couldn’t figure out the shuttle to the mountain. We had a fabulous time and made memories that will last forever! We will always have fond memories of our stay at Bartram House!

Perfect!

This property was perfect for our purpose. We celebrated our boy/girl twins’ 21st birthday with a ski trip to Okemo. Our children brought 4 friends along. The house had plenty of sleeping options and spaces to gather. The host supplied coffee and creamer (bless him!), TP, paper towels, dishwasher soap, a well appointed kitchen, etc. I would book this property again in a minute! Thank you! P.S. We left this morning and forgot to turn the heat back! So sorry!

Enjoyed our stay and would return.

Our family stayed for a weekend to visit with relatives. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of linen, and a ton of space. We enjoyed our stay. Close to downtown and Mountain. Would make a great ski house for a multiple families.

Great Ski Stay with Family and Friends

Home was very clean and well stocked with necessary items. We loved the “ski stuff” room with warmers and plenty of space for ski equipment. Locatiom close to town and Okemo was great, and the owner was responsive and helpful with our questions. Plenty of room, good WiFi, and fun family games for use.

Christmas Vacation

This was a great property for our families vacation ski trip. Lots of bedrooms. Very clean. The kitchen/ bathroom were very well stocked. The mud room or ski room was fantastic. Lots of hooks baskets, Heaters for your boots and gloves and lots of seating. Close Distance to the mountain.

Long time Vermont skiers who picked Ludlow as our destination of choice due to the convenience and amenities for a family with different skiing interest levels. We live full time in Connecticut and have found that this home is an excellent get away from the daily routine.

We chose this property due to it's close proximity to Okemo, Killington and Stratton. The best part is the shuttle which allows for the option to sleep in on those slightly colder days and provides the freedom of coming and going to the mountain when you please. It takes the hassle out of getting the group ready to go all at once.

For those who are looking for nightlife, the house is a short walk to downtown for dinner and the bar scene.
