They flit, float, fly and even seemingly predict the changing seasons. Hummingbirds, such beautiful creatures! This recently renovated and remodeled condominium, Hummingbird Corner is beautiful too! Located in the center of Canaan Valley at popular Deerfield Village, this lovely condo offers beauty inside and out. Summer visitors can enjoy the community pool, tennis court and play areas. Thereā€™s even a pavilion for friendly gatherings as well as a volleyball area for active families. Inside, no matter the season you will find ultra-comfortable accommodations. The well-stocked kitchen is sure to be a favorite gathering spots for folks of all ages. Winter visitors will be sure to enjoy evenings around the fire with happy conversations, a favorite movie or television show. Driving access is easy. No matter the month it is a short ride to Blackwater Falls, downtown Thomas, Timberline Mountain and Canaan Resort. Come spend some special time at Hummingbird Corner!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose hummingbird corner mainly because itā€™s so close to the play area and the pool and it has that wonderful view of the valley. The location was everything and it made for a great time. The three bedrooms kept us all happy and comfortable. The owners could make some improvements on lighting at the kitchen bar and in the kitchen as it is quite dim at night. Additionally, the furniture could be more comfortable. The seating in the living room is a bit antiquated and I stubbed my toe on the benches at the table and the table supports. The suggestions would put the frosting on the cake.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a perfect location if you are bringing small children. The pool and the very large sandbox are within steps of this unit. The lighting in the kitchen was inadequate. We had to bring a lamp from the living room to be able to prepare food for most meals. There were insufficient dish towels for the unit and we ended up having to buy more - so bring plenty with you if you use this unit. The gas grill had been left in really poor condition so we changed our grilling menus and used the cook top. Otherwise, it was a nice unit and again super convenient for families.

Great property and location. Very clean and well stocked. My only complaint is that after taxes and many different feesā€¦ā€¦ you end up paying twice what the daily rate is quoted as.

Happy place to spend a long winter weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Comfortable and cozy. Enjoyed the fireplace with plenty of firewood supplied, and took walks in the snow right out the door. The back deck looks lovely for a warmer time of year. Great location, very quiet, but close enough to the main road and walking distance to a restaurant and convenience store. My only concern was that no one at the realty was wearing masks during the Omicron peak, but we didn't need to spend time there.
