Steps to the LaFitte Greenway!

North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks, including Jackson Square (1.6 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.3 Miles), City Park (3.5 Miles), and Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (3.3 Miles).

Natural light fills this thoughtfully updated Mid-City home, where classic New Orleans architecture meets modern comfort. Mornings are peaceful on the front porch overlooking the Lafitte Greenway, while evenings invite you to unwind in the spacious living area or enjoy the backyard’s tranquil setting.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms each feature a plush queen bed with blackout shades, ensuring restful nights for up to six guests. Every bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV, and professionally cleaned linens are provided for your comfort. Two full bathrooms offer ample space for groups or families.

Kitchen & dining
The fully stocked chef’s kitchen includes a GE stainless steel electric stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and all the cooking basics you need. Enjoy your meals at the dining table or sip coffee from the drip coffee maker or French press. Wine glasses, baking sheets, and a toaster are also provided for added convenience.

Living & workspace
The open living room is perfect for gathering, featuring a 48-inch HDTV with standard cable, Roku, Netflix, and Hulu. High-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace make it easy to stay productive or stream your favorite shows. Central air conditioning, heating, and ceiling fans keep the space comfortable year-round.

Outdoor living
Start your day with coffee on the front porch, taking in the neighborhood’s peaceful vibe and Greenway views. The private patio and fully fenced backyard offer a quiet spot to relax after exploring the city. Free street parking is available right out front, and self check-in with a smart lock ensures a smooth arrival.

Family-friendly features
Traveling with little ones? A pack ’n play and high chair are available upon request, and babysitter recommendations can be provided. Laundry is easy with an in-unit washer and dryer.

Location
You’re just a 10-minute walk to the Superdome and steps from Treme’s renowned dining. The French Quarter is minutes away, making this home ideal for Mardi Gras, New Year’s Eve, Sugar Bowl, and festival stays.

Host was responsive from the booking to the leaving.House was pretty clean, floors were dirty, bring slippers to wear when at home…Kitchen was useful. Drip coffee maker. Plenty of products, may have to buy TP pending how many are staying with you.GREAT location for walking. Bagels, coffee, and a brewery just a block away.Whole Foods was 3 mins away. Parking right out front if you have a car. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, great stay!

The house was located in a great part of town. Close enough to walk to key locations but far enough away that it was nice and quiet. It was well appointed and clean and the host very responsive. We had an issue with the neighbor next door playing loud music after 1000p but the host stepped in to help get the music turned down eventually. All in all a great stay!

Weekend at Jazz Fest

The place was perfect for our girls weekend! It was just a 10 minute walk to Canal St where you can catch the trolley. There is a great bagel and coffee shop just a few blocks down. We were able to walk during the day and feel completely safe. The beds were super comfy. Everything seemed brand new in the unit. The only negative was that we could've used more fresh towels. We only had two in the master, and with women - we typically use two towels per person. Would definitely book here again!

Great location, and just as advertised!

This adorable home was just as described, with a comfortable living area, 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths! I was even able to enjoy my coffee on the porch in the morning. The location was great - quiet, safe, and easily accessible by cab to the French Quarter and other locations (walking and public transportation are an option, but it was hot and just as easy to split a cab). Also, Whole Foods within walking distance! TV, Netflix and air conditioning worked great, and clean towels and bath products were in strong supply. The beds were comfortable, though there were definitely protective plastic coverings under the sheets that made for sleeping “hot” and a bit uncomfortable. I understand the owner's desire to protect their property, but for 3 responsible adults in their 30's, it was overkill. The home was certainly clean, but the owner may want to check in from time to time to ensure the cleanings are up to their standards - some things could have been dusted a bit more, there was some residual soap scum and buildup in the shower head, and a couple of random items left in drawers that were obviously from previous visitors. But all in all, would definitely book again and recommend! If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable space with easy access to the French Quarter, you've found it!
