We’re sorry Salty Dog Retreat fell short of expectations. The cleanliness issues you described—dirty walls and tub, shower curtain condition, bathroom odors, and a messy porch—are unacceptable. We’ll address this with our housekeeping team and inspect the unit to ensure our cleaning standards are met. We appreciate the note about the sofa bed—we’ll use that feedback when assessing updates to the sleeping area. We’ll also have remotes checked and batteries replaced as needed, and follow up with the HOA pool maintenance to ensure regular cleaning. We wish we’d known during your stay so we could have addressed these concerns right away. Thank you for the feedback.

I don't see any record of you reporting any of those issues you mentioned, but we would have loved the opportunity to make things right had you reported them. It is very important to us to be honest in our advertising and feel the photos on the listing represent the property exactly how it is in reality. I will make notes about your comments and pass them along to maintenance and the property managers so we can correct these issues if they exist. The rent is very reasonable for all the wonderful amenities and views this property offers. We hope you will consider renting with us again on your next visit to Carolina Beach so you can experience the Bryant standard that our loyal guests return for year after year.
