Lovely house with an amazing pool!

Great Location

Clean property & home, comfortable, pool was a bonus and property manager was immediately attentive to any needs/questions. Location was near major roads but far enough from them to be of no concern and made it easy to get around and just a short drive to downtown.

Perfect for our family vacation

We found the home to be perfect for our family with 2 young kids. It was in a quiet neighborhood close to all the places we wanted to visit. We were even hoping to extend our stay! We would absolutely try to book this same home again for future visits.

FBU football family stay

Nice place for a small family. Just one thing make the AC accessible to the renter. We were warm most days and night. One room could have a ceiling fan added to help. The owner and staff did respond well to my text. Overall rating would be a 4.8 out of 5

Nice Place but could use some help

Nice house plenty of space and layout. Washer dryer was great to have with the pool...Couple issues we had were one of the kitchen cabinet doors was hanging off. The hinge was broken and cabinet door was hanging. I told them the minute we got there, they said it would be fixed the next day, then the day after... 5 nights there it was never fixed. The grill in the back is deff ready for replacement. When we got there the gas was left on and it smelled like gas the second you opened the slider. I think this was because the knobs are worn off so you dont know when it is on/off. The starter is also broken so you have to use the stick lighter. Aside from the grill and cabinet the place was good and served its purpose.

Safety concern for your children

Great location! Home is roomy, bed in master is comfortable. Home is not the cleanest, pool is not heated. We were not able to use the pool at all because it was to cold. We stayed in March. The birdcage around the pool needs some attention. Check out process was brutal. Check out time is 10am. It was 10:15 am and the cleaning crew just walked in the home! My son, whom is 7 ran to the back of the house and said he was scared that there were people in the home…..it was the cleaning crew! A major safety concern for my family and for any family and the most unprofessional thing to do ever! We will not be back to this VRBO.

Drake, we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. - There must have been a misunderstanding we do not advertise a heated pool. - We did not mean to barge in to get the home cleaned we were trying to get a jump on it to be sure it was ready for the guests who checked in that same day. Our apologies. - We are working on fixing the screens around the pool. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.

Overall, pretty good stay

Good communication with property manager. Check in and check out was fast and easy. Amenities were ok. A/C, TV and wifi all worked fine. Although the property was pretty much as described, we were disappointed in the finishes, decor and general condition of the house. The appliances, fixtures, furnishings were all pretty low end. The house had some wear, but you could see there was an attempt to make improvements. There’s really no yard/lawn to speak of. It’s a decent place and fit our needs pretty well. If you’re wanting more of a luxury feel, this is probably not that place.

Family Vacation

We arrived on Tuesday afternoon and could not enter the property because the digital lock’s batteries were depleted. We called the Property manager and could not reach her and her voicemail was full. After 2 more phone calls and 2 texts she finally returned the text and said there was a lock box in the back and could get the key to it. I tried over 25 times while she kept saying I had to be doing something wrong. Finally she called back and said she gave me the wrong code. I asked when the batteries would be replaced she we had 2 family vehicles and some wanted to do different things. She said I should replace the batteries and I could not figure out how to get into the lock to replace them and I do not think that should be the guest’s responsibility. She said she was busy since she had 20 other properties and would get to it when she could. I tried to contact the Evolve company and could not get through to them for 2 days. She did not get the replaced until Late Friday so 4 of our 2 days were hampered by having to arrange schedules so people could gain access to the house. The property was fairly clean except for the pool which we would not get into since the water did not look all that clean and there were spider webs galore around the pool. The house was in fairly good shape, in terms of cleanliness. Since 4 of the six days we had to share 1 key, our vacation was not the best, to say the least. One conversation with the property manager ended with her hanging up in the middle of a question I was asking her, I think I was annoying her with talking to her, since she said she was busy. This was our first experience with VRBO and Evolve, and most likely our last. Quite disappointed.

Hi Mark, we wanted to pass along the following response from the homeowners: "We are very sorry for the series of inconveniences you encountered during your stay. This is not the experience we strive to provide for our guests. We will be proactively replacing the lockbox batteries on a schedule so this will not happen again. We are glad we were finally able to get you the correct code and change the batteries. We will address these concerns as well as the cleanliness of the pool to make sure these concerns won't be repeated in the future."
