July and August 2026 Summer rentals: check in/out's are Saturday and are 1 full week bookings. Short term bookings start again as of the last long weekend of summer

Built in 2022, direct waterfront cottage is perfect for family getaways, situated directly on 160 ft of waterfront on Buckhorn Lake with endless fun and possibilities.

This cottage has 5 private outdoor seating areas.
Cottage is 5,000 square feet, 5 bedroom, 4 1/2 bathroom.
Outdoor Hot Tub and Sauna open all year round.

Includes small sandy beach area, 160 ft of armour stone shoreline and beach volleyball.

Boasting a year round covered hot tub, crystal rail glass, 10 foot running river dining room table for 10, soaring 16 foot living room and dining ceilings, master bedroom log bed with walkout to deck, and breathtaking water views from each bedroom. Laundry on site.

For the kids and adults alike, our Rec Room contains a pool table, ping pong table, foosball, poker table, karaoke, 75" 4K TV, and an arcade pac-man.

At the waterfront enjoy our water trampoline (June, July, August, Sept months only) 4 kayaks, set of stand up paddle boards, a paddle boat, beach area, beach volleyball and more!

Waterfront bunkie/boat house open from May - Sept where you will find life jackets.

Cozy up to the fire pit at the waterfront. No need to bring your own firewood, everything is already on site. BBQ on lower level. Great room TV has Bell Satellite TV & Chrome Cast. (**pay per view extra). Rec room has 75", 4K TV, and Chrome Cast.

Amazing buckhorn stay

We had an amazing New Year’s weekend at Kathy’s beautiful home in buckhorn. Its the perfect place to spend with a group of friends and family. We were 13 people and had all we needed for a memorable stay - from karaoke, hot tub, games to a well-stocked kitchen and relaxing living area. The location was perfect. We’ll definitely go back again.

Stunning Cottage - Highly Recommend

The cottage is beautiful (with great attention to detail) and has lots of games, activities, etc. to do on the property. We had 11 adults and it was very spacious. The kitchen comes with essential items which was useful and all instructions were easy to understand. The Hot Tub was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Perfect Weekend!

Our group of 12 friends had the best weekend at Buckhorn Blue! The cottage was even better than it looked in pictures and fit all of us very comfortably. Kathy and John were always quick to respond when we reached out and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. We cannot wait to return!

Amazing Stay!

Such a large place with so many rooms. Loved the activities downstairs. Even with the fire ban we still had so much to do. Photos don’t even do this place justice. Also very close to a golf course which was perfect for us. Kathy was very quick to respond and very helpful. Would highly recommend!

Luxury on the Lake!

Our group of 10 just loved our stay. Buckhorn Blue has everything you could ever ask for including the A+ service from Kathy & John. The beautiful location and the numerous inside and outside games kept our group of 8 (16 to 19yr olds) constantly active. My wife and I truly enjoyed every minute of this luxurious lake house. Thank you so much Kathy for your hospitality. Buckhorn Blue is a gem in The Kawarthas.

Wonderful Vacation Week

This large, beautiful vacation home was perfectly suited to our family of eleven (age range 18 to 75).One of the highlights of the place for us was the huge maple table in the dining area where we could enjoy each others company at meal times. The spacious kitchen was well appointed with up to date amenities. At one point all the tables in the Games Room were in use simultaneously! We enjoyed paddling, hiking and biking. It was a magical week! Thank you.

Buckhorn Blue

Fantastic stay. Property is spotless and has everything you need. Communication with the hosts was rapid and helpful. Lots of indoor activities (ping pong, pool table, arcade, foosball) for rainy days. Fishing off the dock was excellent. Shallow entry to the water for young kids, although fair amount of weeds about 10 feet from shoreline. Buckhorn is not a particularly deep lake along this shoreline, which means the water is warm, but no diving and a bit of vegetation. Overall, a fantastic stay. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely Stunning!

Spent the weekend at this Buckhorn lake property with friends to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday and it was amazing. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they are very quick to respond. Check in was fast and simple. The place was immaculate, and very well organized and stocked. The property is big with a great view of the lake with lots of outdoor space and furniture. The bedrooms are gorgeous with the most comfortable beds and pillows. We loved preparing food in the spacious kitchen. Everything was so perfect! We would love to go back again. Thank you!

Buckhorn Blue is spectacular!

We had a fabulous week at Buckhorn Blue! The house is beautiful - inside and out. The house is very comfortable. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with everything you need and lots of things you didn't know you needed - the coffee was very much appreciated! The games in the game room are well maintained, fun and were enjoyed by three generations. And there was no shortage of fun outdoors - kayaks, paddleboards, volleyball, a firepit and weedless 'beach' area allowed for great swimming and lake activities. Even a power outage didn't damper our trip, as the generator kicked in and we didn't even notice. Thank you Kathy and John for being so responsive and thoughtful - we had a wonderful week and hope to be able to book again!
