Room for the whole family!



The Space:

Centrally located in Crystal Beach, this home is perfect for a family getaway! With its partially covered upstairs deck, you can sit and watch the beach all day or go for a stroll or ride via the easy access road. You are also just moments away from shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores.



The open-concept living/dining/kitchen area has comfy seating and satellite television. Relax after a fun-filled day outdoors with a movie or game night. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to make your favorite family meals, including a regular drip coffee maker. There is an island with seating, as well as a separate dining table. This home has high speed internet and a washer/dryer for your convenience.



With over 1600 square feet, this 4 bedroom, 2 bath, beachfront house sleeps 14. The first 2 bedrooms have a queen bed in each, the third bedroom has 2 twin beds, and the fourth bedroom has 2 twin over full bunk beds. This layout is great for a couple of families vacationing together.



Downstairs, the area under the house is a great place to enjoy friends and family in the shade. Dine outdoors using the charcoal grill. The outdoor shower is great for rinsing off after a day in the sun and sand.



No pets are allowed. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gull Cottage did not disappoint. We had just about all of our family at the beach house and everyone had a place to sleep. The beach house was roomy enough and had plenty of places to sit while eating and/or watching tv. The wifi worked great for my granddaughter working on college homework. The kitchen had plenty of room for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable. The beach house was real easy to walk to the beach. There was plenty of parking also. We really enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was as advertised, great location on 2nd row, close to the beach. We loved spending time on the deck. A couple of quibbles: the ice maker did not work and the freezer shelving was loose. In any rainstorm, water seeped in under the back door. Several lamps placed with no nearby plugs. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Reviewer Comments: The view was nice and the location is great, but when we arrived at this house we were very disappointed. This house had sand everywhere including on the beds. It was the dirtiest house I have ever stayed with Swedes and I come down like once a month. All the pots and pans are broke, and missing handles. The kitchen table was disgusting. Had food dried to it. The windows were so dirty you couldn’t see the beautiful view from inside! And half of the windows were missing blindes! And the room with the twin beds were horrible! We got there and immediately just started cleaning the house.

Family Beach Vacation

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was in a good location with easy access to the beach. The view was good but we did see a lot of campers on the beach in front of the home, which was not relaxing at all. One key for a 4br place...? The home was not what we would consider acceptably clean, and it smelled of stale cigarette smoke. While we had a nice view of the beach from the porch, it was really hard to see from inside due to the dirt on the sliding doors. Dirty dirty dirty. Cabinets were dirty, dishes were sticky, floors were dirty and pet hair under the furniture (not good when there are allergies). Hardly any amenities such as pots and pans, cookware, serving bowls, etc. Only a few blankets available, and make sure to rent the super poor quality linens so you don’t have to travel with towels and sheets, for $125 + tax. Overall, this place needs updated and upgraded.

Reviewer Comments: This place was disgusting , dog hair everywhere , please don’t stay here if you don’t want to have the worst vacation ever. Upon arrival, we realize the place was not clean at all ( I have plenty of pictures to prove this place is filthy) , the washer and dryer didn’t work ( after talking with Swedes on the phone they finally sent somebody to replace the washer on day 3 of our stay) , the dryer was never fixed so my father in law fix it because we needed to do our laundry. When we try to talk to a manager on the phone they will hang up on us or say she was not available . They offer me refund for a night which ii never received and it’s not even worth it for all the stress we’ve been dealing with. I’m very disappointed and if I can give 0 stars I would , I can’t believe they rent that place out considering the condition it’s in.

The only downside was that the refrigerator and washer were not working. I let the staff know and was asked if I wanted maintenance to take a look. It wasn't a big deal for us. I would definitely recommend this house.

The condition of the house is not in good shape. Furniture is old and not in good condition. The property had not been cleaned when we arrived and we didn't have our linens. The property manager was very efficient in getting someone there in a timely manner to clean the property and to bring the linens.

Good, but could be better!

Good location! Easy walk to the beach! The layout makes sense and the common area was bigger than I thought it would be. Kitchen appliances and utensils were somewhat lacking. There was one bedroom that didn't have blinds for both sets of windows. The bedroom with 2 twin beds, the frames were incredibly flimsy and the slats on the bed were a thin plastic. Probably would have been okay if a small child was on the bed but we had an adult sleeping in that room. Also, it's a pandemic... contactless check-in should have been an option. We had to go to the real-estate office to pick up a key and drop it off again afterwards.
