Chase the Sun (formerly Seagrass Villa) is an incredibly private, luxury four bedroom villa located in the gated community of Virgin Grande Estates. The fantastic outdoor space has sweeping ocean views making for dazzling sunsets. Perfect for four couples or a large family, this ultra spacious villa can sleep up to 8, has four ensuite bathrooms and a half bath off the great room. Chase the Sun has top amenities; granite counters, two built in ovens, gas stove and TVs in every room.

Built in 2009, other perks include A/C in all bedrooms and a sparkling 12x18 private pool with a sprawling sundeck for entertaining. There are Bluetooth speakers and a state of the art mesh WIFI system throughout the home. The lower deck is shaded for an after-dinner drink or a relaxing read. The upper-level great room includes a 42" flat screen TV with Satellite and comfortable lounge area. Next to the kitchen, the dining table seats 8 and there are additional seats at the bar.

Each of the 4 suites has king size beds, large walk-in showers with walk-in closets all with stunning views of Great Cruz Bay. The lower level of the villa has a second great room equipped with a pool table, refrigerator and another flat screen TV, perfect for staying in and entertaining or relaxing while enjoying total seclusion. We're sure Chase the Sun will become your favorite home away from home!

The kitchen is well equipped, there are big open spaces, and is in a relatively quiet location. Good for families.

Beautiful home for a group but didn't get to enjoy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Chase the Sun was a beautiful home. It was clean, well-appointed, and perfect for a group of couples to have their own space, but awesome common space. The house is a little remote, but the views and the layout were perfect. We did have a hard time having a taxi find us, and if you are looking to be in Cruz Bay, maybe choose a home closer to not worry about enjoying drinks and having to drive. Unfortunately, the septic backed up, and we had to be moved to another home very quickly. We only had about 24 hours there. We were bummed. I will say we were impressed with how quickly we were moved with an issue that was unfortunate, and although the owner offered us a 10% discount on future stays, we would have appreciated that on our current stay as we wouldn't have chosen the new home for our group. Catered To handled getting us moved very professionally, however.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented vacation homes from Catered To since the late 80's. The houses we stayed in have all lived up to the descriptions provided by the agency which boasts a wide range of very comfortable, clean, well-equipped and maintained rentals. We suggest reading through a lot of the descriptions and making a list of the features you care about most. Knowing what you want in a rental house helps Catered To provide it and you can count on its employees going the extra mile in taking care of you. As you can see, we recommend Catered To Vacation Homes without hesitation.

Spacious home with gorgeous views

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location in a nice gated community. Large home which is great for a large family or a couple of families traveling together. The property is in need of some maintenance for sure. For the cost of the stay I expected more. Both of the dryer lint catchers are broken and need to be replaced. The coffee maker is in need of replacement parts, we had issues with most of the toilets and flushing. Two of the doorwalls could not lock at all. Shower pressure made it hard to wash long hair and we know the island has issues with conserving water but this was our 5th time on island and have never experienced such low pressure at any of the other homes. I contacted management for some of the cleanliness issues and they sent someone to clean immediately which was nice. Kitchen needs new cookware. In my opinion this would have been more acceptable at a lower nightly rate.

The view is over the Westin and Great Cruz Bay and beyond. The house has 4 large private bedrooms each with its own bathroom and walk-in closet and television. Two upstairs where the kitchen and great room is located. The other two are downstairs between the large recreation room that has a large t-v, pool table and games. This house is about 10 minutes to get to Cruz Bay for restaurants and shopping.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was absolutely perfect for our group of 3 couples (can accommodate 4 couples) Each king suite was very nice and private. View and pool were amazing. Only downside to this house is the drive. On the map it looks like you will be able to drive up a hill from the Westin to get to it and that road is actually closed off. You have to drive much farther and the curves and up-hill route if fairly treacherous. Would be perfect is the closed off road was open!!

Each room had a King Bed and huge Bathroom for plenty of space and privacy. The sunsets and view are beautiful, this house is also very private. We have stayed in several homes on the Island, and this house is one of our favorites, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice villa! We had a great 10 days there. All furniture was comfortable but the den sofa had a broken leg. The outside pool deck had not been clean when we got there. The furniture and cushions were not in place and left a wash cloth by the pool. The pool had green algae on the last 2 days. It was a quite retreat and enjoyed having a stocked kitchen so we cooked at night. Loved the outside umbrella! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.
