Your own private two acre retreat in paradise with beautiful views of the water. Private sandy beach. Located next door to the Reefhouse Resort and Marina, and within walking distance of restaurants and bars. New 2800 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There is also a 1960 Conch House original to the property, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, newly renovated. The smaller Conch House is great for older guests who prefer a little privacy. Unobstructed views of the famous Florida Keys sunsets and Blackwater Sound (Part of Florida Bay). Easy access to many outdoor activities. Quiescence Dive Shop next door for easy scuba diving or snorkeling on world class reefs. See dolphins or manatee playing just off your beach. We know you will have everything you need for a once in a lifetime vacation. This property can easily handle large families. Thank you so much for your interest.

This property exceeded all expectations. My family was able to enjoy the beauty of key largo without ever having to leave the home, because it offered everything we ever needed on-site, between the pool, beach, and sunset views.

Perfect location in Key Largo for our family holiday trip. There were so many places on the property to relax and view the ocean. We caught fish on the dock, found a quiet spot to read or played with the kids on the private beach. We were minutes from John Pennekamp and lots of local restaurants. Our host was exceptional with easy instructions on getting around the property. Would love to stay here again-great family memories

Wonderful Peaceful Slice of Paradise

Our family of 10 (aged 7 thru 68) loved our time here. Property is clean and very well maintained. Lots to do without even leaving the property. Pool is well maintained and beach is perfect. Lots of shady spots to sit. Kids lived snorkeling off dock. Beautiful sunsets. Can't wait til we can come back.

Family Holiday in the Keys

What a wonderful and relaxing way to spend time with our favorite people! Van and Rob have thought of everything at the Louisiana Purchase! We’ve never stayed at a more beautiful property or a nicer cleaner home, both the main house and the cottage. The private pool got a lot of action and evening sunsets were never missed. There’s plenty to do in the area but you can just relax and recharge your batteries at this beautiful property! Thank you for a memorable week!

Like Having a Resort to Yourself

This property was simply AMAZING. We really didn't need to leave or want to leave! Everything you need to make your vacation relaxing and enjoyable is right on property. We did rent Jet Skis next door for a few hours one day and did the shallow water Dolphin experience a few miles away. Property is peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Having the pool was perfect for both kids and the adults. Highly recommend!

A small second wedding for the family

The setting could not have been more perfect. We had a wonderful time enjoying our family and coming together to enjoy our wedding! The outdoor bar was great and our son had such a great time fishing on the pier.

Absolute paradise

A group of nine, with ages ranging from 4-78 had the time of our lives. We had tears in our eyes as we rolled out of the driveway for the last time. This home/setting is as exceptional as they come. You’ll hardly feel the urge to leave for anything!

Great place to stay

The VRBO was perfect in every way. It accommodated the entire family of 10 people. We all enjoyed the view of the bay of Key Largo. Everything was close, dining and shopping. It very clean and was well supplied with the cooking utensils for cooking and many choices for eating out. We definitely would stay there again

Great Place for a Large Group

We had kids, teens, and adults in our group and everyone loved this place. Swim, snorkel, paddle board, kayak, lounge without ever leaving the property. This place was very clean and comfortable, the managers were very accommodating and had great communication. We will be staying here again. I highly recommend this property.

Family Vacation 2024

This property was GREAT, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only minor complaints are lack of cooking spices that typically you find in VRBOs from previous guests or stocked by owners, adequate storage containers, foil or plastic wrap for leftovers, and not being Comcast subscribers we couldn't log into our own NETFLIX, etc accounts. So only minor things that didn't impact us too much, just comparing to other properties where we have stayed. I definitely would recommend this for a large party, there is so much room to spread out. The pool is great, as well as all the wildlife; its like a piece of your own Everglades.

Picturesque

The view of the bay with the sand beach and palm trees was beautiful. Loved all the different seating areas to look at the bay. Couldn’t keep the grandkids out of the pool! Property manager very accommodating and quickly responded to a minor issue which was quickly taken care of. Definitely recommend!

Family vacation/wedding

Words do not begin to express how beautiful this place is!!! Pictures truly did not do it justice! We chose this home for our small wedding with our 5 children and their friends for a total of 11 from the ages of 14 to 53. The property was truly our own slice of heaven. From the beautiful homes, in ground pool, tiki huts, small beach, tropical fruit trees, iguanas, geckos. I could go on and on. To add to the excitement, my boys caught a small shark, a crab, a giant lobster as well as many other fish. The pier was a wonderful place to spend with family relaxing, watching the sunset, fishing, and even saw dolphin and manatee. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us, Van. We hope to be back in the future!

Wonderful Property!

Loved our stay! The property is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. We loved spending time at the pool during the day, and on the pier for the sunsets in the evening. Van and Rob were helpful and responsive. Would love to return!

Incredible!

The pictures don’t come close to showing the true beauty of this property or the immense amount of space. Nearly every time we left it was simply for groceries, there was so much to do right there at the house we didn’t feel the need to plan anything. We had 3 middle aged adults and the rest were teenagers, no one was bored!! We would absolutely stay here again, in fact we looked into booking again for next year but it was already taken. This entire property is just gorgeous.

Perfect place for family vacation

Such a beautiful place! Exceeded our expectations! Private pool and beach with picturesque views and landscaping. Best sunset right out our back door! Plenty of room for the little ones to run around and feel safe. Quiet location within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Rob was very accommodating. Louisiana Purchase was definitely the perfect place to make lasting family memories!

Family vacation

The property is beautiful, clean and well stocked. Our family included 10 ages 5 to 65. Plenty of room in the two houses. Very large outdoor area with wonderful places to sit on the pier in the warm breezes to watch all the water activities. At the end of the pier we say Tarpen, sharks, dolphin, ducks, crab, etc swim by. The property manager was very helpful and prompt the couple of times we had questions. Spent many hours in the pool. Great place to come back to after outings. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Our family had a great vacation and many happy memories.

We are the three children of a wonderful man, a World War II Veteran who witnessed the raising of the American Flag at Iwo Jima when he was 19 years old, who had a lifelong passion for fishing and family. His favorite place to revisit was right here in Key Largo. He had many wonderful friends here in Key Largo. He purchased this property in 2013, and until his death at age 92, oversaw every detail of the renovation and new construction. It is with a great sense of pride that we host families here on Dad's property, because we know how much he loved sharing it.

This property as well as Quiescence Dive Company (Captain Rob Bleser) next door were the base for many a memorable fishing trip for my Dad and his good friend Dr. Dave Bleser (Rob's Dad who lived to 96). For over 30 years, they made annual pilgrimages to Shark River in the Everglades for a couple of weeks annually for the best fishing in the world (According to my Dad), with lifelong friends. Mr. Alton Wells (Who lived the last 30 plus years of his life on this property) was always willing to let them park additional boats in his slip, in exchange for the latest great fishing story over a beer. There is something about the Florida Keys, that I think you will agree, will keep you coming back time and time again.

You will be hard pressed to find two acres on the water (facing west) with large private boat slip. This property sat quiet for the last 60 years, shielded from the scourges of modern society until our recent renovations. There is much History on this site. Vintage cast iron street lights reported from Georgia adorn the circle drive. Beautiful mature trees. Unbelievable views of the evening sunset. Each one more beautiful than the last. Creating life long memories with family, children and/or friends. Everything you need for the time of your life is right here.
