As of March 2026, the Montage Kapalua Bay on Maui has transitioned to The Resort at Kapalua Bay. Marriott International has taken over management of the property, which is slated to undergo renovations and rebrand as a St. Regis resort in 2027.

This hotel-zoned, legally permitted vacation residence offered exclusively by Private Paradise Villas is provided replete with RESORT AMENITIES, such as complimentary spa access/passes for guests 16 years and older, beachside services such as towels, chaise lounges, and umbrellas for up to four (4) guests (fees apply after four guests), poolside towels and water service, access to cabana rentals, and much more.

Ocean Dreams Villa 2203 is one of very few privately-owned, independently managed villas offered as a vacation rental within the resort. The Resort at Kapalua Bay, until recently branded as Montage Resort Kapalua, is undergoing resort-wide capital improvements, building-by-building, through summer 2027. Work on Building 4 is underway. Building 4 is located behind Building 2, where Ocean Dreams 2203 is situated, and adjacent to one quadrant the main pool area. Ocean Dreams 2203 does not face Bldg. 4.

Protective sound barriers and, eventually, white sheeting will cover the entirety of Building 4. While the project is not expected to present noise issues per se, there may be an aesthetic impact. Similar work has already been completed on other three other buildings without issue or notable guest complaints. Access to food and beverage outlets and some parts of the lobby is expected to be redirected at times while the resort's projects are underway.

As of March 2026, the Resort is no longer managed by Montage Hotels & Resorts. Ocean Dreams Premier Residence 2203 is managed exclusively by Private Paradise Villas.

You will be a guest in a villa/apartment residential resort with a mix of permanent residents, part-time owner visitors, and vacationing visitors. The villas are fee simple condominiums with individual private owners. The on-site services are not intended to fully duplicate those of a luxury hotel. Please expect ambient audible living noises including, but not limited to, children playing, person-to-person conversations, public space music, on-site or adjacent luaus or live music, and on-site or adjacent parties, group conventions, sunset horns, and firework celebrations. The Resort at Kapalua Bay sometimes hosts luaus on-site. This villa is a 2nd floor residence. Supervision of children when using outdoor balcony/veranda "lanai" areas is required. Concierge service for this vacation residence is provided exclusively by Private Paradise Villas.

The accommodation you are renting has flexible bedding options in at least one sleeping room/bedroom. Our staff will ask you in advance of arrival how you would like the beds made up in those spaces. Kindly let us know prior to arrival so we can have the sleeping arrangements pre-made for you. If you are unable to give us your bedding request in advance, or if you change your bedding request after arrival, a $150 change fee will be applied.
