Thank you for your detailed feedback about Gale Winds. We’re glad you enjoyed the ocean view and are very sorry the unit did not meet expectations. We apologize the outdoor shower was not working — we will have HOA maintenance inspect and repair as needed and review balcony drainage to help minimize sand tracking. We provide a "starter pack" of essentials (as noted in our pre-arrival materials) and will work on improving that communication so future guests arrive prepared. We will also review the unit’s cleaning tools (broom, mop) and replace any that are inadequate. We take appliance safety seriously and will evaluate the stove. We appreciate your comments about the mattress and the building condition and will use this feedback when assessing updates and maintenance priorities; we will share your notes with the owners and HOA for further assessment. We’re sorry you cut your stay short and appreciate you taking the time to share these details.

Thank you for the kind words! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay, and we can't wait to see you back again soon!

Tara, Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to here that you enjoyed the Ocean Dunes Complex and all the amenities that is has to offer. We work with the individual owners of our units to provide suggestions and make improvements to their properties to continually improve the property year after year. North Carolina has water bugs which you are probably referring to on the deck. The HOA has a contracted pest control service that routinely sprays for pests at the unit, however feel free in the future to let us know as we can have them provide an additional service for the unit.

Thanks for your review Nancy about Racondo! We have taken note of your feedback concerning the furnishings of the property. Just so you know! The owners have replaced the living room couch and love seat recently! So updates are in the works. Thanks so much for allowing us to be apart of your vacation to paradise! We're looking forward to your next trip to paradise soon!

Karen - Thank you for your review. Are you stating the property is not maintained well due to the extra headboard behind the bed? We can assure you that this beautiful 1st floor ocean front condo is in its best condition. We are happy to report that the new headboard has been removed. When planning your next trip to paradise make sure to browse our inventory as we do have many other options that may better suit your taste. Thank you for choosing Rocondo for your beach retreat.
