Easy check-in, private place, quiet, loved the view from the deck and the mini deck. Close to restaurants, a Walmart. Beds were comfortable, a/c units worked well, purified water available in kitchen added bonus. We loved our private stay

The property was beautiful and very clean. The host let us know there was a problem with the dryer and that it would be handled by the next day, which it was, with no inconvenience to me. The house had everything we could want or need.

Amazing beach house

It was the perfect beach house. Authentic Hawaiian decor and gorgeous views. We loved it. The view from the primary bedroom was picture perfect.

Highly recommend this property. Oceanfront house with a well-appointed home. Everything is available and we felt rested throughout the stay. Heidi was great and responsive, and really cared for her guests.

We enjoyed using the property and all of the amenities. The property had tons of outdoor setting and additional chairs we could pull out if needed!

Amazing Oceanfront Stay!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful Kailua-Kona beach house. The panoramic ocean views from the wraparound deck (and master bedroom!) are unbeatable, and the location is really convenient. There is even a 'rent a bike' rack up the block if you prefer to take a quick bike to eat at some oceanfront restaurants. We were able to see dolphins by stay from the porch, and stars by night. The property was super clean, bright, and the host was incredibly responsive and attentive. Our group especially appreciated that the house was fully stocked with plenty of both bath and beach towels. The kitchen is FULLY stocked. You can cook a meal here with no issues. As a bonus, we found some unexpected beach gear in the closet—including chairs, a cooler, a couple sets of snorkel gear, and a couple of sports balls. While we aren't sure if those are always guaranteed for every guest, (assuming it was left from others) it was a fantastic surprise that made our our stay even better. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Beautiful Property

This home was perfect for our family weekend getaway. Stunning ocean view for our morning coffee and sunset cocktails. It’s in a very convenient location and the amenities provided are appreciated. The AC was a bonus for this summer heat.

Ocean Front Getaway

If you love the sight and sound of the ocean this place is for you. It's comfortable, has all the amenities you need and is close to town. It's a great base to come home to after a day of exploring the island. Heidi was wonderful. She was helpful and always available when needed. This place is amazing!

Quintessential Hawai'i on the Water

We selected this house because it was very "Hawaiian" style, in a great location within walking distance from Kailua Kona downtown, and it's on the water with amazing sunset views. It didn't disappoint! The house has everything we needed for a week's stay. And... the kitchen was amazingly equipped.

We had an wonderful stay. Communication was quick and easy. Definitely time to replace the AC as others mentioned in the bedroom. I always have white noise in the bedroom but this was pretty loud as it shut off and on. Otherwise everything else was perfect for what we wanted for our trip.

Beautiful location

Perfect home base for travel around the Big Island! The house was clean and comfortable. Only suggestion I would have is a new A/C unit for the bedroom, that one is outdated and loud. And motion sensor lights by the back door/parking area. But overall loved our experience and would definitely rent again!

Short taste of paradise!

Can't wait to come back. Exceptional sunsets almost every evening. The only way you could be closer to the ocean would have been to be in it. The waves broke against the seawall to rock you asleep every night. You could see the whales on a couple days from the lanai and watch the body surfers in the mornings. The master bedroom looked out over the bay providing picture perfect views. Close enough to the shops and restaurants to walk.

BEST Rental We've Ever Stayed In

Staying in this house made an amazing trip to Hawaii that much better. Incredible privacy and having an ocean front property gave us beautiful unobstructed sunsets and views of the ocean (we saw whales and dolphins during our stay) and incredible ocean breezes into the house which has so many windows for fresh air and views of the ocean from basically every room. Very convenient location close to Kona and we used this location as our launching pad to Volcanoes National Park and other beautiful spots around the island. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay when we had questions. When we travel we almost always rent homes and this is easily one of the best home we've stayed in. We would stay again and highly recommend.

Home away from home

This was the perfect space to call home during our first stay in Kona. It is so close to amazing beaches, shopping, groceries, restaurants, and more. Many days we chose to cook or get take out and enjoy the gorgeous view from the deck. We loved the grassy yard and shade trees. It felt very private even with neighboring homes close by. The bed and furniture were extremely comfortable. We loved having the windows open at night to catch a cool breeze and listen to the waves for a great nights sleep. We would love to come back to this location again in the future!

Comfortable, Convenient, Scenic

Comfortable house with large windows providing impressive ocean views. The AC units kept the house cool and comfortable even on warmer humid days. In addition to the large deck there is a smaller stone platform across the lawn that is attached to the seawall. It has even better views of the rocky shoreline where you can watch the surf crash on the rocks. The house is also a convenient walking distance to several beaches, restaurants, and shops in town. The carport was an added bonus that let us keep dry when returning from driving excursions on rainy days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. Simple and spacious, with lots of light. The garden is well maintained and the trees provided much privacy and peaceful greenery. The lanai has comfortable seating and overlooks the ocean, and it's the perfect spot to watch the sun set. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed with everything you need. Comfortable beds and luxurious towels add to comfort. There is a closet stocked with beach gear like chairs, snorkeling gear, kid's toys and outdoor games. I loved laying in bed and listening to the waves on the shore all night. It was a magical place and I will be returning!

A great location

If you are looking for privacy and the wonderful sound of crashing waves and the smell of the ocean, this is the place to be. A cute, hip area is right down the road if you want to eat or enjoy your night out. I could have spent so much more time relaxing on the huge patio. Well appointed kitchen that enables us to cook and enjoy the beautiful sunset and moonlight dinners under the stars!!! Thank u for a great place to stay
