Charming home with stunning lake views!

This charming house has wonderful sweeping views of Seneca Lake! A 10 minute convenient walk along the lake to downtown Watkins Glen restaurants, bars, shops and other destinations.
The house has a sitting room, a living room with You Tube TV, and games, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. We can sleep 5 comfortably and 8 MAX.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms with a full sized bed in each.
Downstairs there is one large bedroom with a queen size bed AND two twin beds that includes its own bathroom. We call that the bunk room! This house is great for families or groups looking to enjoy the lake and wineries in the area, explore the Village, the Watkins Glen State Park, the plentiful hiking, beautiful waterfalls or Watkins Glen International Race Track.

Spend the days exploring the beautiful finger lakes and then relax on the outdoor deck with a glass of wine overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake after a busy day!
Ample parking with a driveway that can accommodate 4-5 cars.
We can forward all kinds of info to you via this app upon request and will have a information available to you including suggestions for many of the areas points of interests. (Restaurants, Wineries, Bars, Water activities and short road trips).
We have enjoyed eight seasons as vacation rental owners and look forward to hosting visitors this 2025 season at Green Point Getaway!
Julie and Joe. *PLEASE NOTE* after the 2024 season from December to March we will be renovating. We will be upgrading the entryway adding a new front porch, new front door and a new sliding glass door -! Edit: 4/2025 it is complete but we are still working on updating our pictures!

We have a driveway that can accommodate approximately four vehicles. There is no parking in the front of the house and by permission in the back.

Jill was excellent to deal with. Great views and location (walking distance to town). Jill provided us with great info about the area (restaurants, water falls, wineries and breweries). Cute coffee bar setup in the house. Lots of little details to make it a homey, fabulous stay.

What a magical weekend. I can't think of a more perfect place to stay in Watkins Glen. The view of the lake was gorgeous, it was a quick, easy walk into town, and the house was charming. Will DEFINITELY be back.

Love this place!

This was our second time staying here and hopefully it wonā€™t be the last! Itā€™s so cute and comfortable and Julie thinks of anything one could need while there. The view and location are unbeatable!

Wonderful property with beautiful views, if I couldā€™ve given it six stars I wouldā€™ve. I come back to this house every year with a group of friends. It is the perfect location for us to explore wineries, hike trails, and visit Watkins Glen. We love the openess of the house and exceptional outdoor living space and often spend afternoons outside enjoying the lake views. Julie is a fabulous host who has added a lot of small details to the property that make it welcoming. We plan to keep coming back!

Very warm, inviting home with beautiful lake views. Well stocked with kitchen, bath and bedroom items. Terrific coffee station! Walkable to town. We enjoyed hiking in Watkins State Park, wineries, lunch in the harbor, dinner on the lake and restaurants in town. Our host was invaluable in providing local information and was very helpful and available.

This is a beautiful, charming house with breathtaking views of Lake Seneca. Julie is very organized, clean, and made settling in a breeze for my group. She even provided lots of information about local wineries and other things to do. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio while taking in the views. The house is very close to downtown, and we were able to walk there for dinner. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay was excellent. Felt right at home immediately. The beds were very comfortable. We only needed to make our breakfast and coffee for the day, otherwise we were out and enjoying the area and for us the Nascar race. But the kitchen met our needs very well.Sitting outside on the deck looking at the Lake and watching the Moon rise was beautiful. Also sitting around the fire, making our s'mores, laughing and joking.

Beautiful house and view of the lake

We had an amazing graduation weekend at this property. Super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space and seating. It was a 40 minute drive to Cornell but it was definitely worth the commute. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Thank you!!

Hello and welcome to Green Point!
My Grandfather bought this property in 1929 to woo my Grandmother to marry him! It worked! His name was Willis Green and he built my Grandma Sophie a house and painted it Green like their last name! I wonder if he knew that their daughter would end up coming back home to live with them and their granddaughters would end up living there as teenagers. My Mother always told me " the lake brings us back". She was right.
Fast forward and the fact is.... we just can't let this family treasure go.
Please enjoy what we love dearly. This house, town and region has so much to offer!
My husband Joe and I both graduated from Watkins Glen and now live in Rochester and have two children that are young adults now. When we retire we plan to move here!
My sister Jodi graduated from Watkins Glen and now lives in Canandaigua with her husband and two children!
We all clean and maintain the property collectively and enjoy time at the house anytime we can!
