Had a nice stay

We had a great time. The location was PERFECT. We will definitely be staying here again. The reason I gave a 4 star to the check in is because I do wish it was a code deadbolt because the key was hard to deal with multiple families, we only had one key. Thanks so much! Had a great visit!

Lovely place to spend a week’s vacation. This place is close to the beach and nearby restaurants. Everyone was very kind and accommodating

Nice quiet place

We enjoyed our stay. I would only suggest keeping the blinds closed (some were broken) during the day. Our unit didn’t regulate until four or five days into our trip. The space is relatively nice. We purchased a fan and left some beach items for guests in the future. Overall, it a good place for you to share with your family or friends.

Siesta Key Nightmare

Condo in terrible shape extra unexpected charges no help from VRBO or from other property management company that VRBO failed to mention at booking. Most unsatisfactory vacation ever! Wasted 10 days trying to make condo nice-including hanging towel racks where they had been ripped off wallTerrible sheets missing dishes don’t rent this place!!!!

Nice Condo, The HOA & Property will harass you

The condo we stayed in was nice but the HOA Board and members harass you if your music is too loud at the pool because you are a renter but residents music was louder than ours. Also even though I had said I had a service dog in advance and was given the okay. I was harassed and they even called the police. There are residents that have dogs though.

Slightly disappointed

Our time on Siesta Key was amazing and the condo was mostly ok. The biggest issues were that 1) one of the chairs for the table by the balcony had a duct taped leg which we didn’t know until it broke with one of us sitting in it and that person fell hard onto the ground. 2) We always look for a property with a hot tub because we love to relax in one at the end of the day. We especially needed it this trip because there was a lot of physical labor involved with a move, etc. The listing mentions a hot tub and even shows pictures of one. There is no hot tub. I reached out to the property manager about the duct taped chair and the listing lie about the hot tub only to be told “I know, I’m sorry” (about the hot tub) and that she didn’t know about the chair. 3) there was a razor left in one of the bathrooms. 4) there was a Yeti cup on the counter when we checked in filled with a gross looking mixture of liquid. Other than those issues, the condo just needs cosmetic fixes. Quite a few electrical outlets don’t work and a few lightbulbs were burned out. We felt safe, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room, etc, but it could be spruced up quite a bit. The outright lie about having a hot tub was quite maddening.

Spring break 2025

Positives: this condo is in a great location. Condo sits on a beautiful piece of property on the bay side. You can walk to public beach, about a 10 minute walk. Beautiful pool out back.Beach towels, chairs are provided. Bath towels provided.Washer and dryer provided.Negatives: It should be said that this building is mainly retired adults during winter/spring, which in the end provided a quiet environment for us. They were mostly welcoming but important to know general feeling in building and while out at pool, especially if you have young children. Beautiful pool out back but no hot tub as listed.This condo very much needs updates. There are broken chairs wired together including one that was unsafe to sit in and my mom almost fell out of the chair onto the floor.Blinds on the windows are falling apart, multiple slats from the blinds were lying on the ground in several rooms.The wall are empty and need to be painted and updated.The beds are without comforters, only thin blankets on the beds with pillows that have been around a long time.The TV needed a PIN, I emailed about this and got a response to ask if a PIN was still needed and had no further response while there for the week. We were briefly able to watch live TV but this eventually needed a PIN as well and stopped workin.The smell in the condo was overwhelming at first, after leaving back door open for awhile it seemed to lessen. Smells like old, musty smell. Not much has been done to maintain condo.

Never Relaxed No Privacy HOT SLEEPING!!! Loud construction!

It was 78 degrees on arrival & never cooled 2 relax. The sheets R cheap, old, snagged & felt sandy. The pillows R crappy & smell sweaty. The blinds R broken so exit the shower anyone could see you. We had the main door open & a box fan sucking cool air from the hall. The kids were cooler on the tile floor then the beds. If you cook in be ready to sweat. Grilling was nice but the patio furniture was jammed into a room & you’ll have to move tables to sit. The pool closes at dusk so we couldn’t cool off at night. The fire alarm went off in the AM (construction) & cost us our morning. The pool was noisy from demo. We had 1 key fob so someone was always knocking to be let in. The demo crew got locked out too. The bedding is fleece, to hot to sleep with. One bed had what looked like blood stains. Katia was nice but not accommodating at all. She had other units but never offered to move us only to call when we come back. “It was a design flaw with the hvac”, we were told. Dust covered all vents. We used a tarp over the blinds. I’d return to Harbor Towers but I’d call them directly!! Katia, the host, said the work on the building shouldn’t have affected our stay because our window was clear. I was never notified of any demoing. The demo will last for 2 yrs!
