What a beautiful property! Doug was extremely helpful and responsive to any requests we had. This place is a gem for larger family gatherings. The log cabin was a great gathering place for all of us. The creek below was a hidden treasure for the little ones.

Can't say enough good things about this place and the hosts. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you could need and it's very clear they put a lot of effort and time into the cabin and property to ensure everything is in order, super clean, and well stocked. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and some stayed in the RVs which they enjoyed and when we had 14 of us for an extended family dinner there was a lot of room for everyone inside and out. Everyone enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

We travelled to the area for a family wedding and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our VRBO choice. From the size of the property, the plethora of spaces and niches to find a quiet moment, enjoy the scenery and take a pause, to the clean and well-proportioned trailers, to the very lovely, well-appointed cabin… A. Thank you to our wonderful hosts who were always quick to reply when we had a query. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this space again if the occasion arose.

Excellent place to stay with a large grooup

We hosted our small wedding and this property was perfect. Out of the way, quiet, gorgeous property.

Fantastic and private 'campground-style' wooded property - every detail is well thought out. The log house is beautifully built, modern and very clean with a rustic feel, and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you might need to entertain large groups, including a large covered patio.Excellent outdoor space including an impressive fire circle, creek access, a tree fort, teepee, four motorhomes, hot tub and more. The hosts are welcoming, quick to respond to texts and very friendly. Our group of 17 had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend the site without hesitation.Thanks for a great weekend!

Perfect spot

The property is amazing, it has something for everyone, and the hosts couldnt have been better. Helpful, and easy to talk to, they had all the bases covered. 10/10 would book again!

A haven in the woods

Spacious and bright and quiet and private. We loved it. The log cabin is huge and perfect for gatherings. Walks on the property and large campers were great.

Family Vacation

Absolutely beautiful, quiet, clean and the kids had lots of room to run and ride their bikes. Appreciate the help with the owners.. wonderful hosts

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful stay with 11 people no issues in getting us all a proper bed (although some us opted for the huge comfy couch anyways). Lots of space to chill, hang out and enjoy nature. Amenities were great, had no issues cooking all of our meals there for all of us. Wish we had stayed longer!

beautiful forest rest

The property is beautiful, and so fun for kids to explore. There is an amazing tree house, and many things to climb and adventure on. Outdoor hot tub and showers were novel as well as a kitchen that was so well stocked. We loved it. Thank you for a lovely, peaceful stay.

Private Relaxtion

We really loved the cabin which is beautiful, clean, and well stocked with everything you may need. The property is very private, with awesome touches to make sure your stay is perfect. From the fire pit, tree fort, trails, and jacuzzi there is plenty to keep children and adults entertained. Communication with the owners, and check in was a breeze. We can’t wait to come back soon!

We loved our stay at Doug and Tracy’s property. So much attention to detail, seems they’ve thought of everything! Kids loved the hot tub, the creek area was sublime, the outdoor shower an exotic and wonderful experience! Kitchen well stocked with everything to cook good meals, everything in great shape (including newer pans that weren’t all damaged). Doug was communicative, responsive, and helpful. Everything was clean and inviting and we had a magical time!

Everything we wanted and more

Doug was excellent at setting us up with everything we needed. We had plenty of room for sleeping 14 people, beautiful landscape and a surprising amount of amenities in the home that i did not expect. Well worth it.

We Loved Our Stay

Thank you Doug and family...your cabin and the entire property was amazing! The kids loved exploring everything outside - the creek was a magical and great place to cool down, the tree house which had a great view of everything and lots of fun swings, the cool teepee, and the firepit (gas) where they were able to roast their beloved marshmallows. Us adults loved the huge kitchen with ALL its amenities, all the cozy lounging areas (we found our fav meteor shower gazing spot), the hottub with it's pretty lights at night, the TWO bathrooms 😀, and, during the heatwave, the AIRCONDITIONER! The location is perfect...it's a short drive to Qualicum Beach's beaches and town centre, the goats of Coombes, and lots of hidden spots. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and absolutely recommend this getaway spot! P.S. The kids say HI to the guinea pigs!

Fantastisch! Perfect verzorgd! Het terrein, het huis, de trailers, voorzieningen in de keuken, handdoeken, wasmachine met wasmiddel, afwasmachine met pods, te veel om op te noemen. Een topgastheer die weet hoe zijn gasten het comfortabel te maken tijdens het verblijf. Chapeau!
