The location was central with a deck out on the marsh, which was lovely. The pool seemed well kept and was nice. It was clean and the communication with the hosts was quite good. The smart TVs didn’t really work and could only work with live tv. No apps worked. Overall, though, would stay again.

I reserved what I thought was a 2-bedroom unit. In reality, there was a good-sized queen bedroom/bath connected with a much smaller unit consisting of a bath, a very small kitchenette, table, & day bed with trundle. No coffee filters or extra trash bags. The day bed was very uncomfortable for sitting & sleeping. I finally pulled out the trundle, which was much better but took up half of the room. It would have been nice to have an armchair for TV watching but probably no room. Bathrooms were fine; plenty of hot water. Disappointed that there was not a view. Also, it desperately needs blackout curtains as the outdoor lighting was very harsh. WiFi was fine, as were the Roku TVs. Location was convenient to what we needed. Management very responsive to requests. Did not use the pool.

Check in and booking was easy. Upon opening the door we realized that there was not 2 bedroom with a separate living space one would expect from a listing that says 2 bedrooms. Please realize that the second bedroom includes the kitchen and dinning area in it. When we first walked in the place seemed clean, but upon further inspection we found a wad of hair on the shower /tub area. The floor left black dirt on our feet. There was damaged wood and dirty base boards. We only stayed here 2 night, but if we had a longer stay we would have left and went somewhere cleaner and with 2 real bedrooms. We brought all of this to the history attention and were told we did not read tlisting and sorry. That is not good business. We believe the listing is inaccurate at best. The place really needs a good cleaning. We definitely will not stay here again. Verbo did all they could for us and agreed that it is not 2 bedrooms. They refunded their part of the cost and gave us points for a future stay. That we greatly appreciated. Their people were kind and worked hard for us but the host refused to compensate us for anything on their end.

Thanks so much for choosing to stay with Seaside Vacations, Isabela! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed your time at the Inn! Flies can a a bit of a problem at this time of year as cleaners and inspectors are in and out of properties, but we appreciate the feedback and will relay this to our team to see if we can be better at not allowing them in! We do have a keeper at the Inn, Joanne, who is available during normal business hours, but she will step out of the office at times to inspect rooms. We're sorry if you missed her! Best, Tim

Fabulous Rental

Great stay at the Assateague Inn! The Unit was very well equipped to meet all of our needs! I would rent this very same unit again, primarily because it had 2 bathrooms which is a huge plus! I have been coming to the Inn for 6 years and this was a memorable stay!

Comfortable space!

We were pleased with what we found! The space was exactly as advertised and we really liked the fact that the bedroom was completely separate from the kitchenette and second bed. The two bathrooms we also great since it was my wife and I, our daughter and her best friend. The separate space for the adults was super! The cost of the room per night was very reasonable for it being the off season.
