Nice spot

Great quiet little spot. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware, hot tub was wonderful, bathroom was nice, bed and linens were soft and comfortable.

This property is very cozy and nicely appointed. It's nestled nicely into the trees. The Welcome Book has lots of information for outdoor activities, like hiking.

Awesome cabin in great location

Very clean nice cabin right off the road but still secluded. Everything was labeled with instructions. Wood burning fire place was great. Kept it warm all night. My kids loved the hot tub and there is some great fishing and hiking within a few miles. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet retreat

The cabin had everything we needed and was in a nice, quiet location. Though itā€™s off a busier highway it still feels private. You can find some private lake access about 5 min down the road, off Shoreline Dr. If you are going in the summer, bring lots of bug spray and citronella candles. The mosquitos were terrible.

Plumbing in kitchen is be and a bucket was placed there to collect water. We were unaware of this until trying to do dishes and the floor flooded with water. Upon opening the pipes were not connected to bottom of sink. We did our best to avoid using that sink but a little difficult when 6 people need to eat. I think that there should of been more then two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels because we ran out 2nd day. The cabin is cute and beds were great. There is a huge spiders web with spider inside of showered upper left .

Plenty of Amenities. Highly Recommend!

Nice place, fully stocked, very accommodating for us and our dogs. Owner was extremely nice to us. AC struggled to keep up during hottest hours of day (August) but was sufficient. Awesome grill! The hot tub was great and much needed after our hike at Icicle Gorge! Location is about 30 minutes from Leavenworth which was extremely busy this time of year as expected. Keep in mind there is no lake access near the cabin.

Cozy cabin in a great location

The cabin was perfect for 2 people and 2 dogs. The yard does not have a fence so keep that in mind when planning a trip with pets. The stairs to the upstairs part of the house are very steep, and the bathroom shower/tub is raised, so this is not the best fit for people with limited mobility. Hot tub was great, but the grill was broken. 10 minutes away from Lake Wenatchee and close to many hiking trails. Overall I would recommend this cabin.

Perfect mamas getaway

Stayed for two days with my best friend and our 3 kids. Absolutely perfect stay even though the weather was chilly. They thought of literally everything, so we definitely overpacked. Our kids were aged 5-9 and it was perfect, I would bring a gate for the stairs if the kids are any younger though-they are not joking when they say steep! The beds were heavenly, condiments stocked, grill and hot tub were clean and easy to use, and we loved wrapping up in the provided throw blankets and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit on the porch. Canā€™t wait for the next stay!

Great place, but the beds arenā€™t Queen.

We liked the place but unfortunately the beds are full sized which made sleeping worse since there wasnā€™t very much room with two people per bed. The rest of the place was great though. The dishwasher is finicky but we looked up the manual online and eventually figured it out.

Fantastic little cabin

My family came for Thanksgiving and couldnā€™t have been more pleased. The cabin was an absolute delight. There was 4 adults and 2 kids and we fit great. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality cookware. The decor was fantastic and very cozy. Great deck and yard space. Only bummer was we unfortunately found out the hard way that the backyard was covered in dog poop. Luckily we found a shovel so we could clean it up, but kind of gross. Quick easy 30 minute drive into Leavenworth for daytime exploring and maybe 10 minutes to a great state park. Absolutely would return!

The cabin was great the book experience was tiring

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Once we got to the cabin I had a fantastic time however during booking every single important document I had to call in to the office and get them to manually send me things, which still didnā€™t work sometimes. I didnā€™t even get the welcome package until midday the morning we were supposed to arrive and thatā€™s only because I called in when I couldnā€™t find the address in the contract. Frankly I would be more willing to book through another company even if itā€™s more expensive just to avoid the hassle & stress of booking through this one.The cabin itself was awesome tho I donā€™t understand why thereā€™s a limit of 4 people when it can absolutely fit six. Itā€™s close enough to the 49er diner & squirrel lodge restaurant that we didnā€™t have to drive a long time just to get food, and those places were super good. I loved the fireplace & the hot tub. I would definitely stay at the property again, especially in the winter time it was really gorgeous. And if youā€™re looking for a little socially distanced vacation during corona I cannot recommend this cabin enough.

Mosquito sanctuary

Beware of staying here during the summer months. Upon entering the property we noticed about 20 mosquitos flying around, with dead bug remains located on the walls and all alongside the window sills. There is just something deeply disturbing seeing blood from an unknown source splattered on the walls. Clearly, whomever cleaned this cabin didn't do the most thorough of jobs. The property itself is located in a wooded area just off the highway, and the mosquitos seem to come in immediately after opening the entrance door. Nothing seems to stop them, and my partner and I left with about 10-20 welts all over our body. Our poor dog also had bites all over his body after taking him out to go potty. Suffice it to say, we were pretty upset and did not have a good vacation. The property manager was incredibly unhelpful, saying "not much can be done" and pointed us to the practically empty bottle of bug spray. The property itself is fine and as described. Basic amenities & cookware. Good wi-fi. The a/c unit is decent enough, but is located on the top floor, so the cool air doesn't travel very well to the bottom level. I'm sure this property is fine in the winter, but I would think twice before booking this during the summer.

The perfect cozy cabin

My partner and I love finding pet friendly, cozy cabins in Washington for quality time getaways away from the city. This one is going on the ā€œreturn toā€ list! The surrounding area is super quiet- we slept great. The sound of the stream out back is super relaxing as well. There have been some upgrades since the pictures were first taken (much better dining room table, different bedding, added desktop computer upstairs, etc.) which was a welcome surprise. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of quality pots, pans and kitchen utensils which made cooking in for every meal super simple. There is plenty of firewood available and we kept a fire going for almost three days straight- it was lovely. Since there were only two of us, we didnā€™t use the upstairs bedrooms, but the stairs are indeed VERY steep and would not be safe for young children, elderly, or anyone with mobility issues- same goes with the bathroom shower- itā€™s a big step up to get in. The living room was super cozy and VERY comfortably fit two, but would definitely have to squeeze if you have 4. Overall this was a perfect space for a couple and a dog that had everything we needed for a romantic and quiet getaway.

My boyfriend and I loved the whole wood experience and we will definitely come back again

I highly recommend this place , itā€™s the best and has bit of everything , the only thing I didnā€™t really like was the bed but wasnā€™t terrible either just my preference..overall awesome experience

Great cabin with hot tub. No huge bells and whistles but exactly what we needed to get away from the city. Easy access to Leavenworth but in a quite peaceful location.

A true cabin in the woods

Wonderful property - easy to get to but secluded and private. Though it is right on the highway, there are so few cars that you donā€™t notice it, not even when you are using the hot tub. 10 minutes from excellent Nordic skiing, and about 35 minutes from Stevenā€™s. Well-appointed, clean, the wood-burning stove heats the whole ground floor, and there are plenty of hooks to hang wet ski gear, towels, or anything else. Small, but plenty of room for three adults and their stuff.

Lovely cabin retreat

Overall, a really cozy, quiet place to stay. Just a few things to note: -The dishwasher is a bit confusing to use. We figured it out by watching a youtube video but it could be helpful to post instructions. -As mentioned in other reviews, the stair steps and bathtub are kind of high so it may not be accessible to those with kids or certain physical disabilities -The cabin is right on the road, but the road noise didn't bother us and the surroundings are sufficient to feel immersed in nature
