Newly renovated, a beautiful, private, tropical seafront paradise with lush palms and exotic flowers, located on a cul-de sac at the end of a private lighted driveway. Breathtaking views and beautiful sunsets await your enjoyment!

Since this area is undisturbed by the crowds , the snorkeling is amazing and one of the best spots on the island. Sea turtles are often seen grazing on the sea grass.

We had 7 active adults for 7 days. Lime in de Coconut was perfect. There was never a dull moment with the kayaks, paddle boards, corn hole, giant jenga, awesome snorkeling right off the shore. Then there was plenty of beautiful spaces for a little quiet time. The hot tub and pool is clean and perfect temp. And the views - oh my!The house is clean, the kitchen and bar very well appointed! There were condiments and spices.If you have little kids I highly recommend this property. There is a perfect natural, calm ocean kiddy pool for them to get accustomed to the ocean.I could go on. We cant wait to return! Thank you for sharing.

We were a family of 8 and had the best vacation, the villa was perfect. The house was very clean and had everything you would need. The family room and Kitchen were very large and open lots of room for the entire family. The outdoor space is just amazing, vast with multi levels areas. It was perfect for all of us to be together or if we wanted alone time we could break away and be by our-selves. The villa is very unique with its large waterfront property and very private. We spent most of the week at the home as it had everything. We very much enjoyed using the kayaks, stand up paddle boards and snorkeling equipment they had for us to use. We will surely be back!

The house is uniquely situated with a small beach and water access, which was very nice and allowed snorkeling without leaving. Everyone was nice and attentive to our needs while we stayed there. Would definitely like to come back.

Amazing waterfront home!!

This place was just as good as the pictures show. It was spotless and very well equipped. We had our kids and our granddaughter with us and there was plenty of room for people to gather together and enjoy games and also plenty of room for folks to have their own private space. The pool and hot tub are out of this world and the beach with all of the paddleboards and kayaks was outstanding. Bring water shoes... there are also some water shoes and life jackets there with the snorkeling equipment and boogie boards and everything you need for a day on the beach. We chartered the boat for an all day visit to the BVI and it was unbelievable. We also paid for the boat transfers from St. Thomas which was not cheap but it was very pleasant and well coordinated. We had our arrival meal ready, the house provisioned, and the rental car in the driveway...all which were terrific. We also rented a baby crib, monitor. high chair and toys. Everything worked seamlessly!! The house has laudry pods, coffee filters and all kinds of spices and condiments...but buy coffee, baggies, and plastic wrap. Enjoy!!!

Week in Paradise

We had an amazing week. Staying at lime in the coconut is resort style living at home away from home. The pictures are amazing but don’t do the property justice close to Cruz Bay, which was great for excursions and going out to dinner. Although we spent most of the time on the property. Would recommend lime in the coconut to anyone that enjoys St John.

Amazing property, wonderful people, and exceptional service

We can’t say enough about our week at Lime in de Coconut. Everything looked exactly like the pictures and we could not have been more excited to enjoy this property for a week. There were 4 couples, my husband and myself, and our three sons and their significant others. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom which was great. The kitchen was fully stocked, we used the pool and hot tub constantly, we snorkeled and kayaked, and truly could have been happy just hanging out at the house the whole time, it felt like a resort But as great as the house was, the people associated with the house are truly what made the vacation so special. I spoke to Will Tuttle, the concierge/boat captain a couple of times before our trip and he helped me set up our transportation door to door, from the airport to the Villa. This included a shuttle van that met us at the airport and took us to a nearby resort bar to relax over a couple drinks while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. The shuttle then delivered us to Red Hook where Will met us in a fabulous boat (and had rum punch ready for us) to bring us to Cruz Bay where a taxi was waiting to bring us to the house. It could not have gone smoother and Will could not have been nicer. We did the same trip in reverse when left a week later, again, it was flawless. Nellie the property manager was at the house waiting to give us a tour and instructions. Nellie was great. We had a problem with the hot tub not heating and when I contacted Nellie, the pool guy was there in less than 30 minutes. Marykae, the property owner, sent a very detailed email with a ton of information and recommendations months before our trip which we greatly appreciated. Ausra, Will’s wife, helped us with provisioning with her company Caribbeanplanning.com. We submitted a grocery order a few weeks before the trip and all of our groceries were delivered and put away before our arrival. We also ordered a couple of charcuterie platters as an arrival meal which was really nice to have after a long travel day. We set up a car rentals with the property (they were waiting in the driveway), along with the arrival/departure transportation and a sunset cruise with Will. Using the website Stjohnresortvillas.com to reserve the transportation, cars, charters etc was extremely convenient. We thought that the sunset cruise was the best night of the vacation. We all loved it and would highly recommend it. We would love to return. Best vacation ever!

Magical experience!

MaryKae and Al have made this villa a haven in St John. It's unique location allows for water access directly from their property for snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and swimming. They also provide all the equipment needed for water activities. The house itself is spacious, has every amenity needed including indoor/outdoor games and well equipped kitchen. The outdoor area around the pool and sundeck had plenty of furniture for us to gather. The views are beautiful from rainbows in the mornings to gorgeous sunsets. The property grounds are well kept and any maintenance needs were immediately taken care of by the property managers. Our family made so many special memories here and would not hesitate to come back to this home.

Best vacation property ever…

All we can say is wow. Every spot in the house has an amazing view…we just wanted to lounge around the deck and pool until the sun went down. Already recommended to friends and looking to see when we can go back! The reef steps away was better than any we saw on our snorkeling trip and to see turtles right at the house was amazing!! Loved our time!

Beautiful Villa on St. John

The villa is just as pictured on VRBO. We had a fantastic time at the house and enjoyed many nearby restaurants and snorkeling. Loved burgers at the Tap and Still, an amazing nicer dinner out at The Terrace Restaurant (try the filet), and a frozen painkiller drink at the Longboard. The snorkeling and water sports out front of the house require a moderate level of fitness and daring, but once you are over the sea urchins - the water was amazing! Nellie and Colby are wonderful - responsive and caring. The owners, MaryKae and Al, were very helpful. They provided many helpful hints about the ferry, as well as many things to do and places to see. We booked a boat tour from Nate at Blue Line Yacht Charters - HIGHLY recommend using his services. We took a 4 hour snorkeling adventure cruise. Nate is accommodating, funny, and safety conscience. Highly recommend this property - the views from every level were just beautiful. The pool and hot tub were a lot of fun. Pre-stocked the house with groceries using the Starfish Market - worked out pretty well. Thank you - we will be back!

Amazing Villa + Amazing Island = Amazing Family Vacation

We have been going to St.John for many years and stayed in a few different houses over time. Historically we have stayed in Coral Bay. We chose to branch out on this trip and try Chocolate Hole. We chose Lime in de Coconut for it’s location, pool, views, proximity to the water and amenities. The villa exceeded our expectations. The property is truly unique for St.John with it’s own small beach, tidal pool, and direct water access for snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking. They have an excellent selection of snorkel gear, water shoes, paddle boards, and kayaks. The pool is spectacular, with a perfectly placed hammock for a dad that needed some serious down time. The villa itself is well appointed and spacious. We are a family of four, but the villa easily accommodates a much larger group. It is perfectly set-up for 2 families to enjoy together. Marykae, the owner, sent us an incredibly helpful and friendly e-mail with great links to other services. It is clear that Marykae really cares that you have a great stay at their villa. We used Ausra at Carribbplanning@gmail.com stock the fridge before our arrival. The service was excellent. We also followed Marykae’s advice and rented a car in St.Thomas through Amalie Car Service. By far the best car rental experience I’ve ever had. They pick you up at the airport and have you on your way in no time. It makes the transition from the airport to St.John so much more enjoyable than the ferry and renting a car on St.John. The return could not be easier. They meet you at the curb and you’re done. Highly recommend using them. We were too late to book the recommended in house chefs, but will do so next time. The villa offers an amazing setting for dinner on the deck. Upon arrival, Nellie met us to take us to the villa and show us around. She was a helpful source of information through the trip and if we had needed something it was nice to have an on-island contact to help. We had an incredible week and look forward to going back.

We had a great stay at Lime in de Coconut for Spring Break 2021. The pictures are true to life and the outdoor space is spectacular. The house was easy to get to, very close to Cruz Bay and the views over Chocolate Hole are beautiful. Indoors, the kitchen was well stocked, there was loads of toilet paper (a thing that never would have crossed my mind to comment on pre-2020), and there were plenty of books and games for entertainment. But the outdoors is the reason to visit STJ and you will not be disappointed if you stay here!

Incredible place!

Lime in De Coconut exceeded all our expectations. It was an amazing home and absolutely gorgeous. So much room for 8 of us. We watched stunning sunsets every night!

The outside space improvements made since we visited last time are over the top!!!

This villa is the only place you need to rent on St. John. We love chocolate hole bay, the snorkeling is like being on movie set. Lime in De coconut villa is luxury living with the best water access on St John. Very private with lush green landscaping. The outside living area with pool and hot tub boast 360 views of the bay. We can’t wait to return! 😊

Wonderful getaway at Lime in de Coconut

This awesome Villa has everything you need to have a fantastic vacation. You can access the bay directly from the property and are only a 10 minute drive to Cruz Bay. The home has gorgeous views and there is great snorkeling right outside your door! It is better then the pictures show and the owner and managers are very responsive if you need them.

St. John paradise

We could not have asked for a better property to celebrate my father's 70th birthday. All adults and children absolutely loved the house, view and location. The access to the water was perfect. To be able to wake up and snorkel or paddle board to start your day was ideal. The house had everything we needed. Our favorite meals were staying in and having chef Giovanni prepare 5 star dishes. We will definitely be returning in the future!

We are the Scott's, Al & Marykae, the owners of Lime in de Coconut, Utopia Peter Bay, Shangri-La Villa, The Beach Oasis Villa, The Palms Villa, Pirates Landing Villa, Coconut Cottage, Poseidon’s Retreat and Neptune's Retreat. Yes, that is a lot of villas on the island; it genuinely attests to our love of St John!! We love the quiet calm and natural beauty of the island!! It's a very special place with an enchanting town, gentle green hillsides, and crystal clear, turquoise blue tropical water.

We first started coming to the island as a couple in 2011 and rented various accommodations. After many frequent trips to the island, we decided that it's time to buy our own place; somewhere we can call home and that would encompass what we loved about our frequent stays. Waterfront, directly on the water was what we both loved and that was our number one criterion when searching. We saw Lime in de Coconut Villa advertised and immediately fell in love with it and bought it right then. All our family love the island and at our family gatherings, there's always a great story or fabulous memory shared. It's everyone's favorite place to vacation!! St. John is a magical piece of this earth full of amazing blessings from God and nature. We loved the villa so much that we got married at Lime In De Coconut in 2017!

In renting our villa we found that all of our guests loved the villa and we kept hearing time and time again it was there best ever vacation. It was from this that we decided to expand this into a little business and started to look for the perfect properties on St. john. We want all our guests to Love St John and have the best vacation possible as we do. We know you will catch the feel good vibes of the island and our villas too! This is our escape from reality-haaaa!!

We chose Chocolate Hole for many reasons. We wanted to be located directly on the ocean. When we first walked into Lime in de Coconut we knew we had found home! We are just 20 feet from a reef teaming with gorgeous tropical fish and sea turtles.
Most importantly, there are no strong winds at this location as there are on many parts of St John. The house has sun for the entire day and the sunsets are gorgeous. This location is also just minutes to groceries, shopping and incredible dining. We love it here, we know you will too!!

Lime in de Coconut is located directly on the ocean and just steps from the villa.
There are no treacherous hills or pathways to navigate to get to the water.
The villa is also located on the part of the island that doesn't experience the harsh winds.
You won't need shoes to walk from the villa to the ocean!
We have a PRIVATE sandy beach area with palapas, comfortable lounge chairs, small tables and a blue tooth music system. For outdoor fun we have kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment & fishing poles. Our entire outdoor area lights up at night with the flick of a switch.
Lime in de Coconut is situated in a great location if you want to be on the ocean.
Many villas are listed as waterfront but you can't get to the water safely or easily.
We are also in a location that is not affected by the very strong winds that can easily keep you indoors. Very important also, we have a WHOLE HOUSE GENERATOR! The power goes out quite often on this island and trust us- YOU NEED A GENERATOR TO SAVE YOUR GROCERIES AND PROVIDE A/C IN SUMMER MONTHS. Not many villas can offer you amazing snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming without stepping foot off the property! Our guests tend to stay right at the property for the majority of their stay because of the AMAZING FREE AMENITIES!!! This is a most unique resort setting for St. John. This villa has been professionally decorated to feel more like a comfortable, warm, high end resort home instead of the typical box hotel approach. We have extended every creature comfort possible at no extra charge to you because this is how it should be!!
