The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.

Last summer our family visited and stayed in a home on the North Side. We were blown away. Everything about the home was luxe,clean and made for a perfect when you've had "great" you naturally compare.And sadly this home didn't live up to the expectation.Upon arrival we were told there was a broken kitchen shelf to expect was never repaired. Not a deal breaker. I instantly noticed once we walked in the home wasn't spotless. It appeared the home was rushed cleaned and the floors felt sticky, the restrooms weren't super clean,I could visibly see hair strands on the floor. The upholstered dining chairs had lots of stains, and the beautiful sofa also appeared dingy. Making hard to lounge comfortably. We planned on grilling/ cooking for majority of the stay.The grill was broken we had to notify the mgmt office, and they replaced it the next day. The dishes in the kitchen didn't appear to be cleaned properly, plates in the cabinets still had food residue. Steak knives had rust spots, I had to hand wash everything before we used it. The master bedroom shower wouldn't keep hot water if others were showering. Again not total deal breakers, but definitely kept us from having the "wow factor" kind of stay we anticipated. Needless to say we made the best of our stay.
