Newly remodeled this winter! Walk out studio condominium (no separate bedroom) with gueen-sized Murphy bed that sleeps total of 2 on the Crystal River and Lake Michigan beach at The Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor, Michigan. Walk ten steps from the patio door to enjoy the Crystal River for swimming, kayaking, or just a tube float. Cross over the river using the walking bridge to the Lake Michigan beach to enjoy a beautiful sunset or a swim. The Very Best Beachfront and Riverfront location in The Homestead.Activities include: kayaking, golf, winter skiing, hiking, tubing, biking, swimming, beach walking, shopping in beautiful Glen Arbor and Leelanau County. Come enjoy "the most beautiful place in America" according to ABC news. The Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore offers hiking, biking, beautiful sunsets, and views of the Manitou Islands. Miles of sandy beach to walk, jog, and explore.
Consider day trips to Northport, the Manitou Islands, Lake Leelanau, Fishtown, winery tours, bicycling tours, and Traverse City for summer festivals, downtown shopping, breweries and much more.

I rent by the 6 night week during the summer season, late June until late August. In early summer and later summer/fall I have a 3 night minimum.

Great location by the beach. Nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything you need and more. I really enjoyed my stay. Eagles every morning. Sunsets every evening.

Great location and set up. The Murphy bed is very comfortable. Loved being on the ground level with quick access to the river and beach. The patio has great chairs and space to leave all your floats and beach stuff. The condo has everything you could need.

The property was clean and contacting the host was easy. The Murphy bed was easy to use and comfortable. The location was amazing! The Crystal River is just outside and Lake Michigan is steps away. Depending on what else you want to do, hiking, biking, etc is 10-20 min away (if you want to go further and see more of the area)

Wonder condo with unbeatable location!

We loved our stay! The location is the perfect proximity to the beach and to watch the evening sunsets. The kitchen had everything needed to cook and the owner also provided chairs and toys for the beach.

Perfect Weekend Getaway for Relaxation

My girlfriend and I went to Homestead for a relaxing weekend and got exactly what we were looking for. The place was peaceful, cozy, and the perfect escape from the city. I highly recommend it if you're looking to unwind and enjoy some quiet time!

Wonderful getaway!

Carol's place is very well-kept, clean, and in a great location right on a beautiful beach. Carol was very communicative and helpful throughout our whole stay. Definitely coming back!

We loved the location - steps from the Crystal River and Lake Michigan beach. Gentle-sloping sand beach made for great walks, swims, lounging, and sunset watching. Very comfortable studio with lots of thoughtful amenities.

Weekend Getaway

The condo location is AMAZING! Very quite and as close to the water as you can get. Very quite, clean, zen condo and location. The property owner is very communicative, responsive and helpful. 5 stars!!!

Wonderful week to end summer

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the beach, kayaking, climbing the dunes, and even horseback riding. The condo is as described clean, well appointed, and perfectly located. We had a great week making memories!

Great Swimming!

This property was perfect for us. My husband and I both love to swim and we had our choice of the river or the lake. The sunsets were gorgeous and the walks on the beach splendid--all right outside the door.

Beach front Condo - Lake Michigan

Overall, we really enjoyed staying at this property! The condo is quite small, but it's completely worth sacrificing space for the beach! The condos have about 250 feet of private beach, which was wonderful because it was never crowded. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable and the condo is well stocked with everything you should need.

I love living right on the Crystal River, and Lake Michigan for swimming, kayaking, rock collecting, and watching the joy of this area on the faces of my grandchildren. The Homestead Resort offers the convenience of amenities without leaving this beautiful place.
Glen Arbor is a wonderful NW Michigan small community. The Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore with its beaches, trails, biking, and dunes is minutes away.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The benefit of this condo is the proximity to the water. About 10 feet to the Crystal River and about 150 feet to the Lake Michigan beach which is part of the Tall Timber property. This condo is at garden level and on a few stairs from the parking lot and at lawn level on the lake side. I have remodeled it this winter. There is a new kitchen, flooring, Murphy Bed, and paint. Tall Timber is the closest property to the beach at Lake Michigan and the river which is just in front of my condo.
