Beautiful view, clean place, on the lake, enjoyed the canoe, paddle boards, paddle boat. Peaceful, relaxing, tranquil, highly recommended. Spacious, internet, tv, all appliances, the owners were very friendly, checked in with us, we will definitely be back again. This property was close to our family cottage land that we grew up in over the years before it was sold. Love the area, great convenience stores to get supplies.

Great location and property, nice spot on the lake. Only issue was there were no curtains or blinds so no privacy. Also no way to cool down the place as no fans or air. Brought my own fans but was still very warm inside. Overall nice stay.

Brett & Jane are amazing hosts. The cottage has a wonderful lake view & access to the water. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes/pots/pans you can think of… and if anything is missing Jane will help you out! (But you probably won’t have to ask for anything). The beds are comfortable & everything in the cottage has been recently renovated and refreshed!!!! We enjoyed using the kayaks— which are available to use. The little fire pit was great…but the property also has a larger fire pit available to share! Overall amazing 10 day experience here we love this lake & can’t wait to revisit next summer.

Great stay on Haliburton Lake

Very relaxing stay. Excellent hosts also, very accommodating, would recommend this to anyone. Cottage was well stocked and right on the water.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage by the lake. The hosts were amazing – very welcoming and always responsive to our requests, including providing bed linens we hadn’t realized we needed to bring. We truly enjoyed using the kayaks, SUP boards, and pedal boat. It was a lovely and memorable holiday!

Great stay at Haliburton Lake!

The views here are spectacular! Cottage had everything we needed for a very pleasant and comfortable stay. I would recommend to anyone a stay here and will hopefully be visiting again soon :)

Wonderful Weekend

The cottage was clean and the water was beautiful. It was a relaxing weekend with family. A small beach area for kids. There is a common dock, so we were able to bring our boat. Brett and Jane were very accommodating to our needs. The wifi worked well. I hope to return again next year.

Haliburton lake get away

We enjoyed a short family vacation on lake Haliburton. The cottage was clean with well stocked kitchen for 4 people. We enjoyed time on the large dock with beautiful views of the lake. The property is being updated. Brett welcomed us on arrival and check in instructions were communicated by cell phone. and other cottages are being updated.

Haliburton holiday

Beautiful natural environment/view. Lovely swimming-beautiful water; wonderful to have watercraft for us. Nicely refurbished cottage, well-appointed facilities with kitchen essentials. Would be helpful for the listing to mention the need to bring towels and linens and potable water, and shopping is 15 min drive. Unfortunately there's very limited cell service in the area.

Perfect getaway for nature lovers

I recently visited this property during the Canada Day long weekend and I’m in awe of the view and the hospitality Brett and Jane had to offer. This was a relaxing trip for us and we just wanted to get away from the hustle bustle of the city. This spot is also great for people who like water sports, canoeing etc. The cottage is newly renovated and located at the Haliburton lake. The only downside was no mobile network coverage or Wifi connection(which they will have fixed soon). Since we were looking for a peaceful getaway it worked for us, our dog had a great deal of fun in nature and enjoyed swimming at the lake. :)

Beautiful location..

The booking stated there would be a TV, Wi-Fi and room for 6. There was no Wi-Fi, or TV. There also was not space for 6. Originally when I booked this, I had 4 children and 2 adults. I am glad the 2 additional children backed out because they would have had nowhere to sleep. It was disappointing to find out when we got there that there was no Wi-Fi (the main house has Wi-fi w extenders in the other cabins) however, we were in cabin 2 and it did not reach us. Every time we needed Wi-Fi, we had to go near the main house. I had 2 younger children and beyond this being a major inconvenience as there is no service, I felt it was wrong to mislead people like this. Had I known there was no wi-fi and no TV, I would have chosen a different place to stay. The owner did try and remedy the situation by offering his home, but we were already settled in and did not feel comfortable with this. The owner apparently has been trying to fix the Wi-Fi for weeks, but it still hasn’t been done. Other than that, the location is beautiful. You can’t really swim directly from the property as it’s shallow and rocky but rather it can be used to launch the canoes, kayaks, etc. The floating dock was set up by Brett the day after we got there. The cabin was clean overall, had all the major utensils, etc., had to bring our own bedding, towels, firewood, water, etc. Overall, it’s a beautiful location with beautiful views, kayaks, canoe, paddleboard and firepit, I just wish the host was more honest in his ad

Brett is a phenomenal host and this property is fantastic for families looking for a summer cottage stay. We have a property on Haliburton Lake and I rented this for my parents. The dock offers wonderful swimming and Brett has a bunch of complimentary canoes and paddleboards you can use to enjoy time on the water. The cottage is quaint but really nice and has everything you need to make the stay easy: full kitchen, hot/cold water, wifi, and comfortable sleeping for 5. We will be renting this again and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
