Wonderful seaside setting

Watching the sunrise over Acadia from the deck and walks along the shoreline were such a gift!

Beautiful setting. Can watch the sunrise and sunset from the deck or beach. Very quiet and relaxing. The unit is clean and has everything needed for your stay. We would go back.

Beautiful setting and views of the harbor. Welcome basket with snacks and treats was a wonderful surprise. Kitchen was well stocked, apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Thanks you for sharing this magical space!

Little slice of heaven in Maine

This was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Such a quiet and charming spot. Katharine was a delightful host and the apartment was spotless. We enjoyed being just an hour from Acadia but away from the crowds in this idyllic Maine coastal setting.

Save us from the Texas heat

Good communications with the host. Location couldn’t have been any better to the Wooden Boat School. Property beautiful with perfectly manicured flower gardens. Close to the general store, coffee and lunch options and a wonderful dinner Inn.

This was the perfect spot for our week at The Wooden Boat School. While my husband attended daily class, I explored the beautiful region from Blue Hill to Booth Bay. Mid-coast Maine is the best. Sweet little Brooklin is a delightful and friendly town with just enough amenities (general store, hotdog stand, pottery shop, gift shop, and Inn with restaurant)! Don't miss the Co-op just 15 mins away. And a cool wine store in Blue Hill. Katharine is the loveliest of hosts. She and dog Daisy communicated well and we loved meeting them both. The proximity to water was perfect and a great view from the deck...we enjoyed morning meditations and evening cocktails there. But also venture down to beach for a brisk swim and rock exploring. The boathouse apartment was perfect for us. Clean and well-stocked. Comfortable bed and extra daybed for afternoon reading and naps. A 3 minute drive or 10 min walk to WBS. In addition to a great coffee pot (a must in any VRBO), her several book cases of enticing novels and non-fiction are cause for a return and extended stay. This is a 5-star place, for sure. Clean and orderly. Meets description. Thank you, Katharine for your hospitality!

We're so glad the boathouse apartment offered the perfect home base for exploring mid-coast Maine, from Blue Hill to the Co-op, and that the deck views and proximity to the water made for great mornings and evenings. It means so much that the space felt clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, and that you enjoyed connecting with us and our dog during your stay. A perfect getaway

My daughter and I stayed four nights. We loved swimming and reading on the private beach, seeing the ocean view while cooking in the well-equipped, immaculate and charming kitchen, and relaxing in the quiet and beauty. There is a fabulous food coop and fish market near by and a great farmers market on Saturday in Blue Hill. The host is kind and helpful and has beautiful gardens. Everything was perfect. We hope to return someday.

Beautiful Apartment with Beautiful view.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Beachfront Brooklin. A beautiful estate on the ocean with private access to an apartment. The owner was a gracious host and provided us with amenities that were unexpected. One of the nights we stayed was that of the supermoon. It was beautiful on the water and we felt safe to walk down to the beach in the evening. This property was our favorite out of all the other places we stayed during our New England trip. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. We hope to be back someday.
