This was one of the nicest and welcoming homes we have stayed at. Very clean and spacious. The backyard was nice in the morning while having a cup of coffee. AC worked great even in the record heat SD is having right now. Janet is the host and she has made sure the house has lots of nice touches and amenities. Will stay here again when we visit SD.

We had a wonderful stay. The host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. The location couldn’t have been better: convenient, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay in San Diego. This was a good homebase and close to downtown and every where else we wanted to visit. The outdoor area was good for hanging and spending the afternoon.

Nice place to stay for a family trip

We enjoyed our stay here for a spring break trip to San Diego. The location made it easy to get to all the attractions. The property was quiet and comfortable.

A comfortable home. Great backyard. Wish there was more room for dining. Great communication with host/owner. Except for dining it is comfortable for 6 adults.

The dining space was altered to a breakfast bar and outdoor dining to allow more space to move around the home. I had a traditional dining table before, but it made the space very tight. The full house setup is available on the platform to view dining options prior to booking. I have invested in TV trays recently to add additional dining options. I do appreciate your feedback.”

3 Adults. Our experience was great. Home was nice, clean and smelled great. The host was always available for assistance and or questions. Parking was convenient on and off site. House was very well stocked essentials and necessities. Cute Welcome Basket. I will definitely stay again.

Wonderful home, conveniently located.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Lovely, quiet neighborhood. A wonderful space for a family with many amenities. The three bedrooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. Shared spaces (i.e. living room and kitchen) allowed our family of six to gather for TV watching, enjoying shared snacks and just chop it up. Highlight is the outdoor space where we enjoyed breakfast in the morning and hanging out in the evening. When it was time to get out and see the town, the home is approximately 20 minutes or less from any where you want to go (i.e. Zoo, Aquarium, Gaslight District/Baseball Stadium, etc.) Forgot something?...no worries you are minutes away from Target, Walmart and several supermarkets. I was thankful to find the property among the many home rentals in the San Diego area. It was the perfect choice for my family and I 'm sure all who select this home will find it this home hits the right note.

Outstanding home

This experience was overall excellent. The home was very clean and fully furnished. The property is well cared for and just beautiful. We were greeted with a large welcome basket. This property is an example of staying in your own home.

Great Place to Stay

The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood was cute and safe. Communication with the host was very easy. She was quite responsive and answered all of our questions. I would definitely stay again.

Brilliant stay in a lovely home!

This place is a credit to Linda, the owner! We came over on a 10 day family holiday to San Diego and wanted somewhere that wasn't too far away from the main attractions but was also quiet so we could chill.This home is perfect, easy links to the main highways and quiet peaceful neighbourhood. The home was spacious for all 5 of us to spread out, was very comfortable and clean, easy check in and check out and great comms from the Linda, the owner. The kitchen is well equipped if you'd like to eat in, the bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable with plenty of linen/towels available. Plenty of room for a car on the drive. All in all I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again.

Best Place to Stay!!!

I recently rented this home for my daughter's wedding in San Diego. While seven of us shared this well kept and comfy place, it felt spacious enough to enjoy the cool morning and evening time for coffee and drinks on the back patio. Even with close neighbors the privacy was nice.I will be renting this place again due to its close proximity to downtown, yet far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle!Thanks again for a great experience!!!

Great San Diego stay!

Great spot in San Diego in an older but quiet neighborhood. Can be downtown and at beaches within 20-25 min. Host lives on site in the garage but we never saw her. Great communication with Janet and loved our "welcome" snack basket.

Quiet neighborhood

The host was very responsive and cooperative. The keyless entry made checking in a breeze. The house had lots of amenities--we had no issues with anything. Just a quiet, easy, lovely home-base for our trip to San Diego.

Perfect Christmas Getaway (12/23 - 12/31/24)

When Janet heard we were traveling with one of our children and their 16-month old child, she thoughtfully pulled decorated her home for Christmas. She communicated with us via text before & during our stay. We felt very welcomed! Thank you, Janet

Lovely Stay!

The house was more spacious that we thought and in the pictures! It was well stocked and if we ran out of anything or needed anything at all, Janet was very quick to respond and resolve the situation. Always a plus when a host is responsive! Highly recommend!

San Diego Gem

This lovely home is decorated beautifully. The host was readily available for all questions and suggestions while in town. The home, felt like home including everything we needed and then some extras. I am very particular and expect the best when I travel. My family and I where comfortable and enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here again if available for future SD visits.

Peaceful Oasis

The house was decorated beautifully and was fully stocked. Check in and out was easy with a welcome basket of goodies left for us to enjoy. Comfortable beds and a great patio. Easily accessible to the freeways and in a quiet neighborhood. Janet, the host, stays on site, but you would not know she is there. She is very accommodating and accessible if you need anything. Great property and would definitely rent again.

I had an amazing stay at this property! It was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect, close to local attractions, in a quiet neighborhood.The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, responding quickly to any questions or concerns. Relaxing Oasis

This is a great house located in a quiet neighborhood. Easily accessible to the freeways and everything you would want to visit in San Diego. Beautiful decor with an awesome backyard patio. Fully stocked with anything you would need. Owner stays on site, but you would not know she is there. Janet was a great host and made us feel welcomed. Unexpected welcome basket with wine and snacks was waiting when we arrived. Awesome touch Janet. 100% recommendation for this rental!

Great option for your SD visit!

The host is very attentive. Check in-out was very efficient, easy and accommodating! We had 3 rambunctious boys age 8-17 in our group. The yard was ample size for them to move about to release energy. No yard toys were available but we had brought a few of our own. We love the artificial turf for our morning yoga on the yard. We walked the neighborhood several times. Safety was not a concern. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, all the basic small appliances you may need in addition to several cooking spices. Primary bed is extremely comfortable. Plenty of pillows, sheets, towels, toilet paper etc for an enjoyable, comfortable stay. We would stay here again!

San Diego Oasis

We were here 4 nights over Veterans Day weekend to visit a friend in Chula Vista. This house was in a great location, central to the airport and to our friend’s house. Nice neighbor, beautiful and clean house, with a well stocked kitchen. We utilized the outdoor backyard to meet up with our friends 2 out of the 4 nights. Plenty of outdoor seating with a gas fire pit and blankets to keep us warm at night. The inside had a fireplace in the living room and had duraflame logs and wood provided. Comfortable recliner sofa with huge flatscreen TV. Owner even provided us with complimentary popcorn, chocolate and bottled water. Three bedrooms and 2 baths accommodated the three of us easily. One of the best homes we’ve ever rented! Will stay here again when in San Diego! Highly recommend!
