This property is spacious (2400 sq feet)and comfortable with an outdoor gas fireplace and great deck for enjoying the mountains. Weber grill for grilling out, high end appliances and cookware for eating in. We are located 4 1/2 miles from the center of Asheville's downtown. Privately located on 12 quiet acres. This is the perfect property for those searching for a quiet place to unwind and yet be close to all that Asheville has to offer. Beautiful landscaping, outdoor fireplace, outdoor shower, exercise room with equipment, 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, large flat screen tv's, full of lovely furnishings inside and out make this the perfect retreat. This home offers easy access to all the local attractions; Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn, Blue Ridge Parkway, shopping and restaurants and with all the comforts of home in a true mountain setting. We are an easy Uber ride from all Asheville attractions.
This property is the full first story of a two story mountain home.
We love to share our home when we are away ourselves. You will have the place to yourselves to relax and enjoy! With the exceptions of our wildlife...

House is beautiful. Sunrises are incredible. Hosts communicate fast and friendly. Very close to downtown yet was very secluded in the mountains. Would stay here in again when I’m area!

Amazing stay

We wanted for nothing during our stay, it was like a hotel! Great experience with an even better view! Hosts were incredibly communicative and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Short drive to anything you wanted to do in Asheville

Anything we wanted to do in Asheville was a short drive, including picking up family from airport, touring downtown, sight seeing, touring the Biltmore.

Beautiful, spacious house on a gorgeous piece of wooded property.

Spent a lot of time on the patio with the beautiful weather and gas fireplace. Saw a momma bear and her three cubs swimming in the pond. Very nice and relaxing few days.

Asheville Vacation

This property was spectacular! There are great views off the back porch, which we enjoyed each morning and evening. The house was also great to accommodate our group. The house is less than a 15 minute drive to the downtown area which has a wide variety of breweries and a quick drive to the Biltmore. Also, short drive several different hiking trails. We highly recommend and would stay here again.

Great home that is secluded but close to town.

Great house, great location. We took our 2 kids (9 and 11) and they had a great time exploring the property. The house had all the updates amenities that we were looking for, and the exercise room was a big plus for us. Laura was also very helpful and flexible with our travel plans. She made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We highly recommend staying at this property.

perfect anniversary trip!

The house was even better than the pictures. Laura goes out of her way to add all of the little things to make the house cozy and comfortable. Champagne in the fridge for our anniversary, coffee beans for the coffee maker, soap/shampoo/lotion in every bathroom and a truly stocked kitchen made this feel like our home away from home. Highly recommend!!

My five daughters and myself in Asheville NC December 2021.

The VRBO was a 3 bdrm 3 ba facility. It was perfect for the 6 of us and a 1 year old. Our part of the rental was a one floor plan, and each room had it's own bath. The weather was perfect. Asheville had so many beautiful things to do. we had a great time.

Absolutely wonderful stay!

My mother, husband, stepchild and I absolutely adored staying here! It’s perfect with a bathroom for each bedroom and special touches throughout. Each room has a great view of the mountains and I enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning. We grilled steaks one evening and spent a lot of time on the porch. Honestly it was difficult to leave, but it’s very close to everything in Asheville. I hope we get the opportunity to stay again soon. Thank you, Laura and Bob - you are wonderful hosts!

Mountain home

This rental exceeded expectations. The lodging was in perfect condition, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Our hosts anticipated every possible need. It was conveniently located in relation to the major local attractions. Our hosts Laura and Bob shared very helpful tips for dining and hiking. And, they were quickly responsive to our inquiries.

Beautiful property

Laura was a joy to deal with and very prompt in her responses when I had questions. Her home was everything as described w a view that had an amazing sunrise. The home was beautifully decorated w antiques along w all of the amenities that we needed to make our stay special. The perfect place to stay near Asheville but be totally secluded

The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating for our high school friends group celebrating our 60th birthdays. She was so helpful and the home is everything you ever dreamed of. The outdoor porch with fireplace was fabulous. We stayed out there the whole time we were at the house. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have so many extras. You cant go wrong staying here. We all want to come back!

Fabulous, private property

Beautiful inside and out… comfortable for our party of 6 adults. Each couple had our own bathroom and roomy bedroom. Great communication. Enjoyed the entire house and loved the porch too. Would love to come back sometime.. maybe in the fall. Thank you.

Great Location and Host

We had a great few days during Thanksgiving. The house was well appointed and communication was solid before and throughout the visit. Extremely clean. Plenty of housewares that were high quality. Very nice beds and plenty of room. While most won't use one, we did miss an oven as we cook a lot for the kids (the microwave convection wasn't the same). Overall, highly recommend.

Bliss on the mountainside

Absolutely lovely property - it is gorgeously appointed and extremely comfortable. So much so that I had to ask our wonderful hostess where she got her couch! Your hosts are very accommodating and kind. The cottage is the terrace level of their mountainside home, beautifully landscaped with an amazing view just as pictures depict. My Mom and I sat in front of the gas fireplace and contemplated life for hours - it was true serenity. We will be back! Many thanks to our hosts.

Fabulous Experience

This is a “must stay” property. From the communication to this luxurious property, everything was special about our stay. The home is well done…comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms with wonderful showers and lovely extra touches like cotton balls and q-tips, a well-stocked kitchen, a comfortable living area and a magnificent porch with an unbelievable view. Note there is no oven but a stovetop for cooking. And the owners do live upstairs but the home is well built so you will not hear a peep. The owners were gone during our stay. We loved our stay.

Mountain peacefulness with the city within arm's reach...

We adored this property and its owners. Laura and Bob couldn't have been better hosts. Their home was perfectly laid out for our family of two adults and four teenagers. It would also be wonderful for three couples as each room has its own bathroom. The teenagers were able to do virtual school on the incredible porch during the day and then we'd head out on the Blue Ridge Parkway for afternoon hikes or sightseeing in Asheville. We were so grateful for the getaway and hope to return soon. I would highly recommend!!!

Great property - Beautiful views, gorgeous home

My family ( grown boys) and two friends celebrated my 60th birthday and stayed at their beautiful home. We are very picky on where we stay, and usually stay at a Ritz or similar property for our vacations. This was the first time we used VRBO and it did not disappoint! Everything was perfect. The home, views etc was spectacular, but most important was the attention to details that Laura and Bob ( owners) took to make this a 5 star experience. Great linens, towels, bath amenities super comfortable beds and pillows, beautifully appointed furnishings. chef kitchen...made this home extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back. I truly recommend this place if you want a fabulous home with spectacular views nestled in the woods but still close to everything.

What a wonderful mountain home!

The home is stunning and the view was hypnotic! The house is well stocked and quite literally has every thing you could want! We lounged on the porch, sat by the fireplace and explored the property. We even found bear tracks and found one has over turned a recently potted bush! Laura was communicative and so very helpful! We felt very welcomed and had a wonderful stay!! Not to mention her decor was amazing!! The only miss may have been on me. I was not aware it was the owners residence as well and only the bottom floor was the rental. It was not an issue for 3 grown adults, but I wasn’t aware until we were at the property. Thank you for having us!! It was wonderful.

Autumn Getaway

The house set up in the hills above Ashview had amazing views, especially this time of year with Fall foliage peaking. We were six adults who liked to settle in to the home for evenings after days checking out galleries and breweries. The property had nice fireplace on deck, as well as, a fire ring further down the hill. We had everything we needed and we enjoyed it all!

Quiet, Beautiful Home

This property is quiet, secluded, and has a great porch for relaxing and enjoying a view of the mountains. The interior is very spacious, upscale, and nicely decorated. I would definitely stay here again.
