Lake Access & Hot Tub: Pet-Friendly Arnold Home

We're so glad your family enjoyed the cabin! It's wonderful to hear the cleanliness, hot tub, and location near Big Trees, kayaking, and restaurants all added up to a great stay. We work hard to keep things comfortable and quiet despite the close quarters, so it's great to know that came through. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope you have many more fun family adventures ahead.

Thank you so much, Matthew! We’re thrilled your family had such a memorable stay. It makes us happy to hear the kids enjoyed the community ponds and that you were able to explore Big Trees State Park so easily. Hi Kent, we’re glad you liked the cleanliness, the spacious layout for your family, and the great location. We’re sorry you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback and they wanted to share the following:- We’ve already addressed the musty smell by deep cleaning and refreshing soft surfaces throughout the home. We’re also adding natural deodorizers and improved ventilation to keep things fresh, and there are air purifiers available in the hallway closet.- We also removed the foam topper and placed it in the closet for guests, as we found the mattress more comfortable without it. There are now four spare pillows located in the closets.- Regarding the smart washer/dryer combo, we now leave the door open between uses to prevent odor buildup, have updated the detergent supply and settings, and have cleaned the unit to help clothes come out smelling fresh. We also added operational instructions.- We’re adding clear instructions for trash disposal, including the dump address and hours, and our cleaner takes it to the dump since there’s no outdoor garbage can on-site.Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

From the Owner: "Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re so happy you gave us a try and chose our home for your stay. It’s great to hear your Boston terriers enjoyed their own space, and that you had a peaceful, comfortable time surrounded by nature. The lake, trails, and Big Trees are special. We’ve made some updates since your last stay, one includes a little welcome dog basket for our furry guests with a treat and toy. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!"
