Ocean Rose - Oregon Beach Vacations

Great Family Beach House! Ocean Rose is a beautiful nautical themed two story beach house that's perfect for Fun Family Vacations, Gatherings of Friends and Romantic Weekends. With four bedrooms and two full baths, this spacious vacation home with nearby beach access comfortably sleeps up to ten guests. Located on the main floor are the living room, dining room, kitchen, library and laundry room. The primary bedroom suite (with a queen bed and a full bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and shower) is also located on the first floor -- as is a second bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs you'll find three bedrooms: one large loft style bedroom with a king bed, a double bed and big screen TV, a second bedroom with a double bed, and a third bedroom with twin beds and a Kids Fun Zone with toys, puzzles, games and books. This vacation home offers cable TV, a DVD player with a selection of 100 movies, board games and Wi-Fi to help you stay connected to your friends and family. You're just two and a half short blocks from the popular 15th Street drive down beach access, and only half a block from downtown where you'll find gift shops, restaurants, a beauty shop, and even a movie theatre. You can also find easy beach access at the D River Wayside State Park area, located next to Kyllo's Seafood and Grill near the center of town. During June and October, the twice annual Kite Festival takes place in this very area! This home is perfectly located in Lincoln City's newly renovated Ocean Lake District with easy access to both the north and the south parts of town. Come explore all that the Oregon Coast has to offer with Oregon Beach Vacations today.

Peaceful and relaxing home to stay

Perfect for a large family with enough beds and excellent cleanliness. Nestled in a quiet, secure neighborhood, it provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and worry-free stay, being close to the beach and all stores. We absolutely loved it!

Girl Friends

The house was wonderful, clean and a walk away from activity. Myself with sisters and friends of 8 ladies loved the home. There are 3 bedrooms with doors and 2 bedrooms that are open but nice. Both bathrooms are on main floor and one is in the main bedroom. This is an older home with all the nostalgia and us ladies loved it.

Beach vacation

The location of the property was perfect for the things we did. The property itself is a bit outdated and the floor plan of the upper level should be modified to ensure safer access to the stairs from one of the bedrooms.

Large family style house near the beach

This is an older home with sweet but dated decor. On the positive side, the location is great with a view of the ocean from the living room. The house is, airy and spacious feeling and the kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking. 4 bedrooms and a den with beds make this a great place for family and friends. The walk to the beach is a few blocks. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

I hope the get an exterminator soon. The house was great aside from the cockroaches

The house itself is great, 7 of us adults were able to stay here for 10 days without feeling too crowded. The house is an older house and the floors are a bit uneven, kinda reminded us of the enchanted forest 😄 But, the cleanliness of this house was definitely an issue. Upon checking in, I noticed some debris under the kitchen table and in the laundry room that wasn't swept up. I also noticed that the jacuzzi bathtub already had a clump of long hair in the drain, I'm not that picky though. my coworkers/ housemates told me i should complain, I chose not to. But by evening on our first night of 10, we found a problem i couldn't ignore. COCKROACHES Now, let me start with this, some of my coworkers stayed here last year and confirmed it wasn't a problem then, but it most definitely is now. I reached out via email first in the middle of the night and because I hadn't heard back yet, I decided to call them our second day. The lady I spoke to told me that I was the first to ever say anything and acted surprised. I pointed out, I had a hard time believing that they didn't know about the problem because we found a box of a product to kill cockroaches, implying that they were already aware. She requested proof. So that night after work I returned to the rental and was able to get 5 or 6 photos and email them to her. The next morning I called again They looked for a house to move us to, but nothing could accommodate, so we were given a discount to stay But the bugs stayed too

Close to beach but dated and dirty - served the purpose

I rented this house to have a family reunion with my older family members. We had selected the house because it had two beds on the main floor which kept the elders from doing stairs. The house is very dated and dirty. I went to the dollar store and picked up cleaning supplies and washed all surfaces. I also ran the dishes through the dishwasher to make sure they were clean. The “kids” room upstairs is where I stayed and when I woke up the next morning to make the bed discovered that the sheets had blood at the foot of the bed; I had to was them and remake the bed. Overall the house served its purpose. Not sure I’d rent this one again but there are limited options when you have older adults with limited mobility.

Ocean rose

I love the location of the property. This place was so dirty and the bed was held up by a paint can. Water pressure was horrid in the 2 bathroom out of the master bedroom. It was so dirty the walls cabinets were filthy. The house smelt so bad I went and spent my own vacation money to clean the washer and get cleaning supplies to clean and make the place smell half decent. It smelt like fish was just sitting in the washer and dryer! I’m very disappointed with the amount of money I spent it shouldn’t be being held together by paint cans. I will be calling this was so just not ok.

House has 2 bathrooms. The hot shower in the one bathroom didn't work when we arrived so all 10 of us had to share using the bathroom in the master bedroom. We go on vacation to enjoy ourselves and not to inconvenience each other. I asked for compensation for the shower that didn't work and was deny because they said it was fixed the next day. I would not recommend this old house which everything you touch breaks. There are many other things that broke when we use but not having a second shower was horrible.

Needs cleaning supplies and dish soap

We had a nice visit. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house there was plastic trash on the floors and pubic hair on the floor in the master bathroom. Also for being there for thanksgiving there was no dish soap. This house definitely needs couches for sitting and lounging. The wicker sets were very uncomfortable and made it hard to sit and enjoy a movie as a family because of the hard uncomfortable surfaces

Reviewer Comments: Home was very old and dirty, it should not be listed as a rental. Walls had what appeared to be dry blood, furniture dirty and raggedy in all areas. Items broken, glass shelf in bathroom which is dangerous. Not shown and described as it truly is. Not well maintained and customer service was rude and not helpful when we asked for additional clean linen to cover filthy furniture. We ended up washing linen and bed spreads or comforters which did not smell clean. Upon arrival we were greeted by many flies and ants all over the home.

The house was so close to the beach that you could hear the waves inside the house. The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of parking and you could walk to the beach and shops. The area was quiet, and we felt safe and relaxed. The only things I could think to improve it would be the living room furniture was not very comfortable - but we really didn't spend a lot of time there other than sleeping, the other improvement would be a bathroom on the second floor.

I could go on and on but main things were NO trash bags only very thin waste basket liners. Dishwasher full of dishes! Un-vacumed carpet, dirty sock under bed! Dirty bedding in master. I'm a housekeeper so I see all the details! I really wanted a couple days off work instead was cleaning as my family was unpacking

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is sinking. makes it very difficult to sleep since the whole back side of the house is at an angle. Very uncomfortable furniture, including the slanted beds. The king bed in the "loft" room was broken and completely unusable. The whole house stunk like cigarettes and dog pee. Was absolutely not worth the money, we would have been much happier at a Motel 6. I definitely would not recommended this rental. On the plus side, the location is excellent.
