This was a great location, plenty of room, nice backyard. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. We have family in Pensacola and would stay here again if they would replace mattresses.

The home was spotless clean, right across the street from a community pool(we actually drive to the other pool as it was less crowded), pool towels were provided. The bedrooms were great for my family of 5, my kids spent time at the house playing ping pong, swinging on the front porch, and catching geckos outside by the porch lights. The Lake Forrest continuity is very pretty, super cool roads, and it it pretty central for exploring the areas around Spanish fort, Loxley, fairhope and only an hour drive to beautiful beaches in Gulf Shores.

The property was great on the outside. The neighbors house next to it was scary. Living room needed a nicer couch. Kitchen was fine dining room was fine. The master bedroom needed end tables for somewhere to put your things. Rooms also need tvs in them. I was told they did. Curtains on back doors and kitchen window.

Great, quiet neighborhood

We had a blast and a wonderful stay in this quiet neighborhood, which was central in location for the places we visited.

Appliances are not the best, Microwave doesn't rotate, coffee maker wasn't working properly and frig has broke shelves. The place was clean but older than expected.

We’re glad to hear the home was clean, though we’re sorry some of the appliances didn’t meet expectations. After following up with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following: - The microwave plate does not rotate, but it is still fully functional; however, we are looking into repairing or replacing it to improve the guest experience. - The coffee maker will be evaluated, and if needed, replaced to ensure it works properly for future guests. - While the refrigerator is functioning as intended, we are exploring options to repair or replace the damaged shelves, though parts have been difficult to source. - The home is accurately represented in the listing, though we understand it may feel more dated depending on guest expectations. Not terrible, but not great

The very first thing I’ll say is that the point of contact is very responsive, which is great. We noticed a beeping smoke detector when we checked in, and they responded/sent someone out to replace the batteries very quickly. It does seem they likely Swiffer the floors versus an actual mop as my 13-month-old niece had black knees after crawling around for the first 10 minutes or so. Everything else looked clean, so that was our best guess. They do have the house stocked pretty well for kids (toys, a booster seat, a stroller, and a crib - though it was disassembled in a closet. Maybe you have to ask to have it pre-assembled?) Unfortunately my family left two nights early because the king bed in the primary bedroom had a broken boxspring. My husband moved the mattress to the floor since the frame wasn’t usable and neither was the garage bedroom since it has no A/C, but being 8.5 months pregnant and getting on and off a mattress on the floor was near impossible for me. Once I notified the contact, they did replace the boxspring, so it should be better now.Overall, not a terrible rental for the price. I just wouldn’t stay there again in my own experience.

Excellent house with a lot of space. The living room has more room then the picture show for seating. You will really enjoy this house. The back yard is huge with a fire pit made in the middle of the back yard. You also have chairs outside in the backyard. The host was awesome and responded back in a timely manner. The garage and wash area has a bedroom with a lot of toys for little girls and boys to play. I love this place and will return everything time I'm in the area. It's close to everything winn dixie, target, walmart, tjmax, dollar general, dollar tree, family dollars, cvs and a lot of restaurants. You will love this place. The room have a lot of space. And the kitchen is the die for. And the kitchen table seats seven people. And one of the rooms has a baby bed. This house is excellent for a family with kids or without kids. Please book with them. You will not be disappointed. I don't know why people wrote bad reviews because the house is amazing. The neighbors are sweet and nice. And the house is on a dead in street. You have space to park four cars.

The Pros: Quiet neighborhood, clean house, close to shopping and restaurants. The kitchen and dining room are nice. We were in town for a graduation and the house was close to family. We didn't have children with us, but the house had everything from kids books, toys and even a car seat. If you are traveling with little ones, they did a nice job keeping the kids in mind. The air conditioner unit looks newer and the air stayed cool. The kitchen had clean dishes. There is a coffee pot but no Keurig or cream / sugar and that is usually standard even in basic rentals. The Cons: No comfortable furniture in the house at all. The beds are very old, hard, squeaky and uncomfortable. I can not stress this enough, the beds were terrible. The couches nice looking but are also hard. No bedside tables, we had to use our suitcases as "tables". The garage bedroom is a bed in the garage, it was stuffy and probably not a viable option if it is hot outside. We did have a family member use that room, we moved a fan out there and he was ok but it was mild weather.

Not impressed

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with several roaches. There were webs in almost every upper corner of the house. A childs dirty clothes were in the closet. Instructions state to make sure all doors and windows are locked but the kitchen window was unlocked. It just seemed as if no one has been present for days. Neighborhood was quiet and safe but cleanliness of the place was an immense let down.

After reading your feedback, we reached out to the homeowner, who wanted to share the following:- The property has routine pest control treatments; however, recent weather conditions, particularly extreme heat or heavy rain, can sometimes cause insects to become more active. To ensure guest comfort, they've scheduled an additional extermination service right away.- The housekeeping team has been reminded to carefully check and remove spider webs, though these can quickly reappear in a short period, especially in warmer months.- We've also reinforced with housekeeping the importance of thoroughly inspecting closets and securing all windows and doors during each cleaning.Thanks for your valuable feedback.

Overall, them place was comfortable.

TV never worked even though the owner tried to help us. Bring your own chairs if you want to sit around the fire pit. I saw only one available and not sure about one leaning against the house, no place to hang our bath towels in the hall bathroom, lots of plates, but only two maybe 3 cups for coffee, kitchen drawers could be cleaned out. It would’ve been nice to have a more of an upgrade bathroom in the hall and master bedroom, and one of the beds did not have a bed frame under the mattress. The owner surprised us with a very nice gift basket on the third day. .

Our team made several attempts to assist, including sending a housekeeper and scheduling a technician. To improve future stays, we’re adding step-by-step instructions for the TV and thermostat.- Fire Pit Chairs: The property provides two chairs for the fire pit, which accommodates smaller gatherings. For larger groups, additional seating may be required.- Towel Racks and Kitchen Supplies: Each bathroom has two towel racks, and we’ll be adding more coffee mugs to the kitchen. The house for the most part was good and the communication was fast and easy but regarding the house and the location.Location: it was close to my Uncle's house which was convenient but the neighbors house and yard were concerning. Not easthtically pleasing but there were no issue.House - there were dead bugs and roaches, I did ask the company managing the house and they promptly responded and addressed it.Bathroom - the shower handles were loose,not sure how they will fix it and the toilet in the master bath was leaking but again the company managing the house did promptly address and replaced the entire toilet.There was an outlet sticking out in one of the rooms and marker on one of the closets in the other room - only saying for future VRBO to know.The garage conversion - very basic, its just a bed in a garage and it ran hot but the company managing the property promptly provided a fan that did help but I had to keep the garage door open which could be loud when others are staying in the house.All appliances worked but I couldn't locate the hair dryer which most home rentals have.Otherwise - huge beautiful backyard, newer living room furniture.Oh last item - I struggled opening the lockbox because I had longer nails but fortunately there were men in the house who were able to open it haha.I wanted to give an honest review.Thank you
