This luxury, waterfront home is located in New Port Richey in a quiet Gulf Side community. You are sure to relax in this beautiful home with waterfront view while listening to music and enjoying your favorite beverage. The water-view from the screened-in lanai or from the dock is of a wide canal that leads into the Gulf of Mexico. The 2 loungers and 2 benches on the floating dock are great for relaxing or fishing. The 21 ft. pontoon boat is sure to make your vacation a memorable one. Two very stable kayaks & lifejackets are provided for your enjoyment. All provided to use at your own risk. Flotation devices for adults, teens, children & infants provided are on the pontoon and need to be on the kayaks at all times as this is law. Keep an eye out for dolphins, sea turtles, manatees and beautiful fish that sometimes appear in this canal. It is also a beautiful birding paradise with so many tropical birds. Take the pontoon boat out to the nearby sandbar for a fun day of swimming in the ocean, picnicking and shelling. Be sure to pack your snorkeling gear to enjoy the beautiful sea life. This home features a newly renovated private heated screened in-ground pool. There have been recent updates inside, such as new ceramic tiles throughout, new Dishwasher, Fridge, Stove, Washing machine and Dryer. The Master bedroom has a Queen size bed with a flat-screen TV, a large closet and en-suite with a tiled walk-in shower with a bench and niche for shampoo and soaps. The second bedroom has a Queen Size bed, flat-screen TV and large closet. In the third bedroom also has a Queen Size bed and a flat screen TV. All 3 bedrooms have blackout curtains so could sleep in. The living room has a flat-screen TV on a new hutch, with another TV in the Lanai. This home has a fully equipped kitchen with a Dishwasher, Fridge and Range with Convection and more. Also included are regular and Keurig coffee makers. There is a gas BBQ grill out in the backyard garden. You can pack lightly as there is a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and drying racks. Towels, beach towels and linens are all provided. Enjoy the serenity of this home, surrounded by beautiful gardens making you feel like you are in a completely secluded area.
This vacation home is centrally located and situated about 35 minutes from Clearwater Beach, Tampa International Airport & Bush Gardens. Be sure to visit the historical Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks which are only minutes away on the Anclote River. There, you can take a sponge diver boat tour or a dolphin tour. Take part in sampling some of the best Greek cuisine and night life. There is lots of great shopping in Tarpon Springs and also nearby in New Port Richey. Some of the close by favorites include TJ Max, Burlington, Ross, Beall's Outlet, and much more.

Wonderful relaxing home

My family had a delightful 8 day vaccation in this beautiful home. The owner kept in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was well supplied with paper products, cookwear, linens and everything was just like home. We spent most of our time in the screened in lanai. We would be definately like to stay there again. Thank you VRBO and Dave.

Exceptional property

The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Fantastic views and a very relaxing place to spend our holiday.The boat was an added bonus. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Great Vaca!

Dave was so gracious and generous to let us use his home, especially after working so hard to get it restored after the hurricanes! We thoroughly enjoyed the boat and pool and the screened in Lanai was where we spent most time. Dave had everything we would want or need and was super attentive! The house is so convenient to shopping and a short drive to different activities like the Sponge Dock in Tarpon Springs or the Pinellas Bike Trail. We loved it! Thanks again Dave!

Cozy house in sunny neighborhood

We spent 3 weeks in this homelike feeling house. Dave is a welcoming hostwho made sure that we were informed about everything. The brand new boat is in great shape and allows you to take trips to the Sand Bar. We can recommend this house with a good feeling.

Wonderful as always

We have stayed at this property multiple times and it improves every time. The home is clean and comfortable. We enjoy the fishing in the area and highly suggest Paladin fishing charter and the inshore fishing charter out of the Rusty Bucket Bait shop. Thanks to Mr. Dave for another great vacation stay!

Great neighborhood

A coworker friend and I decided to be snowbirds from Virginia for the month of January and boy did we enjoy it! We were able to work from this lovely home and enjoy wonderful walks and boat rides and kayaking. All went well and any little issues that arose were quickly resolved. We enjoyed exploring the area visiting different beaches and many parks.

Nice House in a Quiet Neighborhood

This house is clean and well stocked. The owner was attentive and maintained contact with us. Furniture is in good condition. Water pressure and temperature are good. The pool is small but perfect just for floating or for younger children. The house is on a very quiet street so there is no traffic noise. The canal has very little boat traffic. There are numerous small things we appreciated about the house. The ceiling fans on the screened porch and the automatic door locks were a few. We enjoyed this location and the house. We would certainly recommend this house.

Great time!

The house has everything you need to have a great vacation! The weather didn't always cooperate but when the sun came out we enjoyed the pool and the pontoon boat. We were novices but Mickey came and showed us the basics and we took it from there. It was a short ride to the sandbar and the water in the gulf is warm. The neighborhood is really nice and very quiet. There is a Publix and many other stores and restaurants not far away.Tarpon Springs, St. Pete are just a short drive too. So many things around. We had a great time!

the house was more than expexted

wonderfull 4 weeks at this house We appreciate the pontoon and riding on the gulf Kitchen is well equiped with good knifes this is very important for us as We cook a lot in the house The BBQ was OK but didn't use it to much it was to HOT outside to do BBQ We park our vehicule in the garage this way the car is a little bid colder. Just one thing that was wrong the matress in the master chamber needs to be change but in general this was an oasis of rest and peace no sounds except the birds they are so funny to hear. check in check out absolutely marvelous We will sure going back ther if We have a chance

This mattress set is new, only 8 months old. We have had 6 different rentals after purchasing this new set in November of 2021 and no one has had any issue with it. In fact, we personally have slept on it for a total of 3 months and another guest told us that they found it to be very comfortable. With beds, I guess you can’t make everyone happy. When we purchased this set, the owner of the store, told us that it was one of their most popular sets. We’re glad these guests loved our place as we love it too.

if you rent because of boat, don't bother

Rented house for 16 days, intending to use both every other day, we managed no more than three trips , the longest being 3 hours due to boat being unfit for purpose, meaning it would operate for periods of between 5 and 15 mins and then repeatedly cut out and then take anything up to 15 mins to restart. On one occasion it failed to start at all which meant we had to call Sea tow and follow owners instructions of saying we were his cousins so as get service

Best place to relax with family

This is our 3rd or 4th time staying here. We love it that much. Dave the owner is a perfect host, he never bugged us, he always makes sure to accommodate us, and makes sure everything is in order. The place has a pontoon boat that will seat 12, wonderful time going to the anchlote island, and there is a sandbar out there on low tide you can sit on and snorkel. Lots of sea urchants, snook, greenbacks, pinfish, scallops, stingrays, and much more. The place is like home, a double oven with a glass top, with warmer, and a microwave, blender's, freezer for your bait in the garage, kayaks for going out in the channel. Fishing poles, spices, coffee maker, curig, a pool, floating dock, outside shower to clean off with after the beach, screened in pool, and a lounging room with table chairs and seats with a radio, pool lights, easy in and out. Instructions are in the kitchen, garbage is picked up twice a week, Walmart is only 4 miles away, other stores close to only 1 mile (Publix). Bait shops only a few miles away, direction's to get NON - Ethanol gas for the boat, a grill outside by the pool area, also fans and lights out by the extra room by the pool. My family loves it and it always feels like home. I cooked every night, sitting around the table discussing the days activities, and the high points of each person's day. Dave (the owner) is always only a phone call away. Thank you Dave for lending us your home again. Helping us make such good memories, that are lasting.

Disappointed!

We arrived looking forward to a fun week with this house rental. Nice house, pool, boat, kayaks, only partially so! Our first impression was nice kitchen (updated), nice master bedroom, master bath ok (shower and tile was updated), guest room ok (mattress was hard, had one two draw dresser for clothes with tables in the closet for extra storage), living room ok, lanai ok (bugs in corners and lower Crevices under the screens, I would think cleaners would vacuum. Upon further review the rugs seemed old and dirty, the guest bath had an artificial flower that was caked with dust, the shower head was strained. The living room and lanai had artificial trees that were dust covered (Felt the cleaning service was very basic). The pool was nice but small. We had 4 adults, 2 on floats and 2 sort of swimming, which didn’t allow for much more room. Mickey, the maintenance guy went over the boat/rules Sunday morning. Upon him leaving he mentioned Dave, the owner and friends used the boat Friday before we arrived but an alarm sounded so Dave turned around. We were advised if the boat alarm sounds again to let Mickey know. Well we used the boat Monday morning and the alarm goes off. A boat mechanic can’t get there until Tuesday due to family emergency over the weekend,etc. We were sympathetic and say ok no problem but didn’t understanding why a backup mechanic wasn’t available. My husband and brother in law are both in project management and service field and always have alternative options available. Boat was finally fixed Wednesday midday. Unfortunately for us Wednesday and Thursday we’re very windy days. We finally used the boat Friday which was very nice. Another item in the rental rules - in consideration to other guests to fill the boat before you depart the rental. My brother in-law decided to double check the gas before our first use. We were surprised it wasn’t topped off, He put in close to 5 gallons of gas (boat last used by owner and friends). Kayaks were available to use but we kayak enough at home. We booked this house based off the use of the boat which unfortunately was our mishap. To the owners defense we were reimbursed a $100 which according to him and the rental agreement he didn’t have to do. I’m Rating a 3, would be 2.5 if allowed. If it was my co-renters it would have been a 2. After rereading the reviews we were curious why there was a lack of reviews for a while. We took pictures for our records in case of non deposit refund.

If you read all of our other reviews, you will see that this one is very different from the others. We understand that guests would be upset that the boat would be out of commission for a few days. Qualified boat mechanics are very difficult to find and we were very fortunate to have found this one as he has always come very quickly to fix any issues with the motor in the past. Unfortunately, this time, he had personal issues and therefore wasn’t able to fix the motor until a few days later. Regular maintenance on the boat motor is done routinely but unfortunately mechanical motors do sometimes malfunction. We do have a backup mechanic and the waiting time is of at least one week for service. We take great pride in our home and do hire employees to take care of it while we are not there. We have never had any issues with our current cleaning staff and will be communicating these issues with them. Although issues are very rare, anytime guests have had issues, we have worked quickly and diligently to help resolve the problem. This has been stated in previous reviews. We have offered compensation if anyone who has had issues that cannot be resolved quickly. We don’t understand the statement that we haven’t had reviews in a long time since the guests before these ones had left a raving review and so did all the other guests before that. Interestingly enough, the next day after receiving this bad review we again received a very good review from the guests following these guests.

We had a great week despite the hot, humid and rainy weather. The house was spotless, homey and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Having the pool and boat was a great addition. Dave was a very organized host and check-in was very easy. We would highly recommend this home and hope to return!

What an awesome week we had here. Dave was a great host, very helpful and attentive. House was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool and grill. Having use of the pontoon and kayaks was incredible. We took several trips out to Anclote Key and saw so much wildlife. Manatees, dolphins, starfish, sharks, and more! We also had a lot of fun visiting the Tarpon Springs sponge docks and eating delicious Greek food. There’s so much to do in the area. I highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys being out on the water, fishing, nature, etc!

New Port Richey has become our favorite vacation destination. Dave was an exceptional host.. friendly, responsive, and communicative throughout our stay. The house was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared. We especially appreciated the helpful notes explaining how to use different amenities and where everything was located.Our kids looked forward to swimming in the pool every evening after spending the day on the boat. Having the boat available truly made the experience unforgettable. We were out on the water every day and were fortunate enough to see so much incredible marine life.We are incredibly grateful that Dave shared his beautiful home with our family. It created memories we’ll cherish for years to come, and we can’t wait to return!

Wonderful again

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the property that we have visited several times before. The owner has continually updated and improved the property and is a beautiful, clean and peaceful location on the water. We caught Spanish mackerel enough to bring home some fish for the freezer! Thanks to the owner for another great vacation experience

Good Time

The property was in a good location, was clean, and had all the amenities that we needed. Our family loved going out on the boat and enjoyed staying at the property We would refer the property to others.

Wonderful

This place was exactly as pictured. No surprises. Everything was clean, everyone was friendly and very kind to us. We had a great time. The sand bar is beautiful and the fishing is great. House is well stocked. Pool is refreshing. Wonderful place to stay!

Loved it!

We stayed here June 5th-12th. It was our first time renting a house for vacation, and we had never been to the area before. I chose this property because of the reviews and boat access. I am so glad I did!! It has everything you need, even down to towels and cooking utensils. I especially liked coming home without a bunch of dirty laundry. My family really enjoyed it! Check-in was seamless. The property manager reached out to us the day before, which was comforting. The house was very clean. It was evident that the owners care about the home and the satisfaction of renters. There are notes in a couple of areas. Those were very helpful, especially for the light switches ;-). We only left “home” a couple times during our stay—once to go to the aquarium in Tarpon Springs and once to go to a water park. Most of our time was spent in the pool and fishing from the dock. My kids loved the pool! We took the boat out to the sandbar once. Don’t miss it! It was a bit of a drive out, but it was beautiful! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home! I did not want to leave!! Thank you for a great stay!

We're very proud of this beautiful home and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do! We love the water and therefore fell in love with this home as soon as we set our eyes on it. My wife also speaks French.

The warm Gulf-side weather in New Port Richey makes this area very desirable. We loved this area so much that we decided to purchase a home here, that we could enjoy throughout the year. This property, being on the water made it extremely attractive to us. The area has everything that we wanted, such as being on the water with access to the Gulf, golfing nearby, great shopping, and close to all the attractions. There is a very quaint historical downtown area with a park and shopping.

Heated screened-in pool, and a lanai with ceiling fans, with a beautiful view of the large canal water. Stationary and floating docks with 2 loungers and 2 benches to relax or fish from. A 21 ft. pontoon boat and 2 Kayaks on a canal leading to the Gulf. Ceramic tiles throughout. Fully equipped renovated kitchen & an outdoor gas BBQ grill. Washer & dryer along with a second small fridge in the laundry room. Beautiful gardens and palm trees on property.
