Tennessee River Gorge Island Cabins® # 3 ligger mitt i 26 mil TRG. Stuga är en del av en "privat" 13 hektar ö fastighet, med grusväg till TRG Island. Det är den vackraste, orörd och bredaste delen av TRG. Tennessee River här är 1/2 mil bred och rör sig bara cirka 1 till 2 km / h här. TRG Island är 3 ft till nere. "NO STEEP STAIRS OR LAND". Vatten börjar vid 6 tum och gradvis sluttande till 65 ft djupt. TRG Island ligger vid 440
river mile marker. "I skugga hela dagen", med 1,800 ft berg och klippor runt ön, högst på 650 miles av Tennessee River.

Din stuga är 20 'från floden och 3' ner till vattnet. Den har en våningssäng med en full på botten och tvilling på toppen. Toalett och dusch. Fullt kök.

Stugan kommer med båt docka, gasgrill, ved, 1 kanot eller 2 kajaker, bra fiske och vattensporter. Ca 15 miles från Chattanooga. 20 miles från Ruby Falls, Rock City, Incline Railway, tvättbjörn och Lookout Mountains. Tennessee Wall och Snooper's Rock.

Vi har också en 24 fot pontong och 14 fot fiskebåt för uthyrning.

Bo 3 veckodagar (söndag till torsdag) och få den 4: e natten helt gratis. Och 1 gratis kanot eller två använder varje dag!

Prentice Cooper State Forest (24 686 acre) ligger vid våra fastighetslinjer. TRG består av 24 000 hektar mark huggen genom Cumberland Mountains vid 27 miles av Tennessee River. Det är en av de mest unika naturskatterna i sydöstra. Det är den enda stora flodkanon som gränsar till en medelstor stad (Chattanooga) och är den fjärde största flodkanon öster om Mississippi. Wonderful Relaxing Trip!

Peaceful and relaxing! Exactly what we were looking for. Mr. Hart was wonderful and so easy to work with. He brought us firewood every night! We will be back!

Weekend getaway

Stayed here for a short end-of-the-year getaway. Chuck, our host is very nice and made his kayaks and canoes available for us to use. The property is right at the edge of the Tennessee river, and so boating was a wonderful activity we could do every day. The cabin is reakky quite small, and would benefit from some shelves and stirage spaces. A small table inside the cabin would be very welcome also. Besides these minor inconveniences we had a great time.

Fantastic stay

I had a wonderful stay the host offers pontoon boat rides and it wasnt just an up and down of the river he pointed out and stoped to show is wildlife and newly blooming plants and for a photo shoot with the river amd mount in the background. The river and voew is absolutely stunning and the cabin is just the right size for a simple getaway it is pet friendly and my dog had a wonderful time playing with sticks in the water and barking at geese i definitely plan on staying again and bringing the family

Cozy cabin right on the river!

The cabin is perfect for a get-away. It was a bit difficult to find in the dark, so if you're arriving late, you might ask for additional directions from Billy or Chuck. Also, bring bug spray! We really enjoyed the cabin, the front porch and the views. We would definitely go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chuck’s cabin. It is right on the water, and the views are just spectacular. The cabin was adorable, with all of the things we needed to make our stay comfortable. Perfect weekend getaway!

My husband and I booked cabin 3 for our anniversary weekend and it was amazing! We were pretty secluded and were right on the water. Nothing like waking up and fishing in your pjs! The hosts were so helpful and kind! I also got the chance to meet their sweet pups who were soooo friendly and incredibly well-behaved! From the cabin, if you walk down the water line for about 5-7 minutes, you’ll get to the big dock and there are a lot of kayaks and canoes (plus life jackets and paddles) there to use which is very convenient. Its location is pretty far from stores (about 30-40 minutes) so plan accordingly! However, if you have a boat, I would ask if you could just park at the boat dock across the river and boat over because that would cut about 30 minutes off of your drive into town. Not sure if overnight parking is allowed there so do your research first! Overall, this was a great stay and we will definitely be back!

Excellent getaway spot

My wife and two dogs stayed over a long weekend. It was the perfect getaway spot for a much needed reset from a hectic month at work. The cabin had everything we needed. My only complaint was that there was wifi access but i just turned my phone off :). Its well worth the drive to go see snoopers rock while your there. Also while your at it, go see insurance bluff and look down at your cabin from 1600 feet above the cabin site. Otherwise you can just stay on the cabin porch snoozing or take a trip in the canoe or kayaks that come with the cabin. We are already talking about a return trip in the fall to see those views again in fall colors.

Cute cabin and beautiful views

My husband and I loved staying at this cabin. It was very clean and everything was ready for us when we arrived. We loved the location and the views they were just as pictured. The only thing that would make it better would be if there were a town or store or basically anything closer. It’s definitely away from civilization if that’s something you’re wanting. It takes about 35 minutes to get to the closest grocery store which isn’t terrible but any attractions such as the blue hole or rock city were over an hour away. For us it would be nicer to be a little closer to town but overall we loved the cabin and views so much we would definitely stay here again. It was worth driving 40 minutes to an hour to get places to stay somewhere so peaceful and serene. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful views

If you are looking for a place far off the beaten path, this is your place. There are breathtaking views of nature, twisting and winding country roads, through beautiful foliage. The cabin is rustic but very clean. Right on the water with kayaks and a canoe available. The host is very nice and responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only things I wish I knew before hand was how far it was from town. It takes about 30-45 minutes to get to town for gas or provisions. The shower is a separate room from the cabin where you must walk out onto the porch to get to it. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend if you love the outdoors, fishing, and nature.

Cozy cabin right on the river

I had a great time at this cabin. My only complaint would be more about the difference between the property description and what was available. We had driven up on Thanksgiving Day planning to cook and bake our dinner there as I thought all the kitchen supplies would be available. Maybe it was my misunderstanding, thought there would be baking dishes there, but nope. So we settled for cooking on the stove top. Not the end of the world, but did throw a damper on our planned menu. There was also mention of a hot tub, but didn't see one around. However, once I got over the difference between expectation and reality, the cabin and experience there was wonderful. We were able to take the canoe out in the morning down the river, had a fire both nights we stayed, and go on a few hikes. Word of warning: the road to the cabin is fairly curvy so those that get car sick should be aware.
