Tennessee River Gorge Island Cabins® # 1 ligger mitt i 26 mil TRG. Det är en del av en "privat" 13 hektar ö fastighet, med grusväg ut till TRG Island. Du kan inte se eller höra ett hus från en annan. Det är den vackraste, orörd och bredaste delen av TRG. TRG Island är 3 ft till nere. "NO STEEP STAIRS OR LAND". Tennessee floden här är 1/2 mil bred och bara rör sig ca 3 mph här. TRG är 26 miles lång och vi ligger mitt i det vid 440 milmarkören. Stranden sluttar gradvis till 65 meter djupt vatten. "I skugga hela dagen". Med 1800 ft berg och klippor runt ön, högst på 650 miles av Tennessee River. Endast 3 ft till vatten.

Stugan kommer med båt docka, gasgrill, ved, 1 kanot eller 2 kajaker, bra fiske och vattensporter. Ca 15 miles från Chattanooga. 20 miles från Ruby Falls, Rock City, Incline Railway, tvättbjörn och Lookout Mountains. Tennessee Wall och Snooper Rock 13 miles.

Din stuga är 40 fot. Från floden och endast 3 ft. Ner till vatten. Jacuzzi badkar, fullt utrustat kök, en drottning säng, La-Z-Boy bäddsoffa. Stugan har allt !. Du behöver bara mat och dryck.

Vi har också en 24 fot. Ponton och 14 ft. Fiskebåt att hyra.

Bo 3 veckan nätter (söndag till torsdag) och få den 4: e natten helt gratis. Och en gratis kanot använda varje dag!

Prentice Cooper State Forest (24 686 acre) ligger vid våra fastighetslinjer. TRG består av 24.000 tunnland mark ristade genom Cumberland bergen med 27 miles från Tennessee River. Det är en av de mest unika naturskatter i sydöst. Det är den enda stora floden canyon gränsar en medelstor stad (Chattanooga) och är den fjärde största River Canyon öster om Mississippi. Den Gorge börjar ungefär fem miles nedströms från centrala Chattanooga, mittemot Williams Island, som flyter förbi TRG Stugor och fortsätter totalt 27 flod miles till Hales Bar Dam Marina nära Nickajack Lake. Den natursköna terrängen i Tennessee River Gorge. skapar en unik mångfald av landformer. Marken ger livsmiljöer för mer än tusen olika arter av växter, ormbunkar, träd, gräs och blommor samt ett rikt djurliv befolkningen. Många av dessa är sällsynta eller hotade arter såsom Mountain Skullcap och fåglar som fiskgjuse och Bald Eagle. Dussintals arkeologiska platser bär bevis på människans närvaro i Gorge i minst 10.000 år. Tennessee River Gorge. är en utsedd plats i södra Appalachian Man and Biosphere Reserve, sätta den i nivå med de bästa exemplen på jordens levande habitat.

Beautiful cozy, clean cabin on the banks of the Tennessee River! Had all the comforts of home!We especially enjoyed having our coffee on the roomy front porch , complete with comfortable cushioned rockers, chairs and outdoor dining table! What an amazing view!Chuck, one of the hosts, took it upon himself to give us personal instructions on where to experience the most scenic destinations in the area. Very satisfied with our stay! Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!!!

Quiet, secluded little spot. Need some real downtime in your hectic life? This is your place. Bring your swimsuit, food and that book you've been meaning to read. Owners were great. Highly recommend and would stay here again if I have the chance to be back in the area.

Great trip!

We had an amazing trip to Chattanooga and enjoyed staying in this cabin on the Tennessee river. The drive to Chattanooga is about 35 minutes or so however it is a beautiful drive right on the river. The view from the cabin is amazing and you can walk right out the the river. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back!

Surprise Getaway for My Wife

Beautiful inside & out with a great view of the river. You can rent boats. The pool doesn't open until May which wasn't mentioned on the ad. I think the biggest surprise was there is NO shower in the bathroom. It only has a jetted tub which was nice, but no shower was not mentioned in the ad.

Perfect retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was small but perfect for the 2 of us. It was well stocked and clean. It was just what we needed. We loved that it was right on the riverbank and far enough from other cabins to allow for our privacy. We grilled out and rested. Enjoyed watching others kayaking and canoeing. We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday away from home and work. The view of the mountains is gorgeous. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the fall. We plan to return.

Beautiful Getaway

My husband and I loved our two day getaway in cabin #1 on the island. The cabin was pristine when we arrived and the view was absolutely gorgeous overlooking the Tennessee River. Chuck and crew made sure we had fire wood for an evening outside and the grill was ready to use for dinner. We ventured into town the next day and visited The Incline, Rock City, and Ruby Falls...the drive was beautiful along the river. We couldn't wait to come back to that peaceful place after walking all day. Both days we saw fishing tournaments on the river and we dropped our own kayaks in for a little trip up and down the shoreline. Definitely will go back!

Nice cozy cabin on the river

Beautiful views and polite host. Unfortunately it rained most of our stay, but the cabin was cozy. The host provided kayaks which was very fun weather permitting. We were unable to connect to the wifi (signal was too weak), but it was stated on the instructions in the cabin that we would need to contact the host - we were fine with using mobile data (signal was great with Verizon). The bed was soft, but well worn and my wife and I were very stiff each morning. Other than that we had a very nice experience.

Nice getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend stay celebrating our 20th anniversary. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed and Billy made himself available to answer any questions or get anything we needed. We enjoyed having the kayaks available. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway this is a good choice, especially for a couple. There is a nice tub but no shower, so that is something to keep in mind. The bed is very comfortable. The Internet is limited, streaming and video games are not recommended. Bring board games, cards or books if you rather not watch t.v. We enjoyed the bird feeders, sitting by the river and enjoying the scenery.

Great Get-Away!!

Our family spent Labor Day weekend at the cabin (my husband and two kids, ages 8 and 9). The cabin was immaculate....modern and extremely clean. Location was private (neighbors can't see you and you can't hear them). It was fun watching the boats and barges float by. The kids fished for most of the time. They had a blast!! The kitchen is great and makes it easy to prepare meals with full size appliances. We had a camp fire as well. Chuck was extremely helpful and pointed out a few very cool places within the state park. The mosquitos can be thick, so bring your bug spray. Other than that, everything was GREAT! We'll definitely be back!!

The most beautiful mountain get away ever!! BUT... things to know when traveling

This is the most perfect, gorgeous, quiet, peaceful, romantic place to stay ever! BUT... take into consideration (we didn't, you are a minimum of 45 min away from any food/ restaurant/ gas etc.. also there is no shower just a bathtub) would still a million times over give this a perfect review. But we didn't come prepared and ended up eating Ramen noodles and drinking wine bc we didn't want to travel an hour and half round trip to get any food. So just be aware of that. But i would definitely go back again. We stayed in the fall and the road in and out is like a hallmark movie. If you're looking for the perfect quiet getaway this is it! I've continuously recommended and shown off this place since being back and we have many people interested. If id recommend it to my mama id recommend it to anyone!

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I were looking for a place to get away and relax for the holiday weekend. We definitely found it with TRG Island Cabins! It is on a beautiful winding back road along the Tennessee River, yet only an hour drive from our home. The area is secluded and in a very private beautiful wooded spot right on the river. Everything is set up for your convenience, a fire pit by the river, a pool for taking a dip in the heat, and even the use of a canoe or kayak for exploring and fishing. The cabin are immaculate and well stocked. They even supplied is with things that most rentals don't, like toothpaste, razors, coffee, sugar, spices and cooking oil. You literally only need to worry about bringing your food. The owners, Chuck and Brad were amazing also. We had a great conversation with Brad about how they found the property and what they were doing. Chuck was available anytime on the phone if you needed anything. He even called us right after checkout to thank us for staying with them. Unfortunately for us, we "had too much fun" lol, and left some items behind. Chuck was on the phone again to let us know. Thank you so much for everything guys! Glad to be new members of the TRG Island family and will be visiting regularly.
