Enjoyed the stay

It was our first time staying in Venice, so felt kind of blind going in. Little things like, you’ll need to take a water bus to get to the location. Duh, I know, I know. But hey, it was the first trip. That said, Freddy and Alexa from the company running the apartment were outstanding. Detailed instructions on the best way to get there and a personalMeet to get in made everything seamless. The apartment had what we needed, we really didn’t hang in it much. We enjoyed the surrounding restaurants the first night. Other than that it was mostly just a place to put our head at the end of a long day. Window shutters kept noise and light out when needed and in when we wanted to hear the sounds of Venice. Would stay again for sure.

Great location, apartment could do with some improvement

Comms good. No problem with keys and door as mentioned in other reviews.Main room made up as double made a large and very comfortable bed. Slept very well. No clothes storage space in the main double as the wardrobe is entirely taken up with spare bedding, towels etc.The smaller room really isn't suitable for 2 adults and the way the beds are laid out with a sliding door from the main bedroom wasn't great. I didn't feel this was completely clear on the listing, but as we were only a couple it was fine for us. The second bedroom also has no window and could do with being painted white to maximise the light rather than green.The bedrooms & kitchen were clean & at first glance the bathroom was as well. However, when leaning over the basin I noticed the seal between basin and wall needed a good clean, and whilst lying in the bath the underside of the tiled in soap dish also needed cleaning. Yes, the shower was hand held only and we managed with it, but it would be cheap and easy to mount a shower holder which would be a big improvement.The rubbish system didn't work well for us as we were only there late Thursday to Monday. A recycling separation type bin in the kitchen would be useful & perhaps negotiation to allow access to the bin area in the garden until a later time in the morning would benefit.Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay here, and it was a great introduction to Venice, at a very reasonable price, but if we were to stay longer we would book elsewhere.

Séjour à Venise avec deux adolescents

L'appartement très bien situé, calme, fonctionnel et propre. Il est en dehors des lieux très touristiques.La seconde chambre n'avait pas fenêtre. Malgré la pluie et le vent, nous avons passé un excellent séjour.A très bientôt

Relaxing and friendly hostel

It was a very relaxing and friendly hostel. There is a residents cooking area but you can also make use of their dining facilities. Good location only few mins walk from town in quiet area
