The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space located in the vibrant neighborhood of Boyle Heights. This space is close to The Arts District & Downtown Los Angeles, The beautiful Angels National Forest, close drive on 10 to Santa Monica, Disneyland, and Museums (if no traffic, ask for tips!).
This neighborhood AND the city filled with character and amazing food! We can send you all the recommendation in the neighborhood and the city from very inexpensive tacos to Michelin star restaurants and all the other must go eateries all over the city.
This unit is a portion of a historic home built in 1908 (shared walls!) and is located on the bustling 4th street, behind the famous Lorena Bridge for filming location - this unit does have sounds of city.

Everything we asked for!

Alex and Masatoshi's place was great -- it's exactly as listed and in a great neighborhood. The air conditioner kept the entire house cool at all times, and finding street parking nearby was pretty straight forward. There was even a cute mobile coffee shop across the street that we visited everyday. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and had everything you need!

We came to have a family trip to Disneyland and Universal, and Alex’s place was perfect for us! Had everything we needed and in a perfect location between the two parks. Alex was responsive and kept us in the loop, definitely recommend!

L.A. launchpad

Host was very responsive to concerns, including a window that didn’t lock/close, and was nearby to assist as needed. Home was well stocked, cozy, and comfortable. Great, close access to the freeway, just have to watch the signs as it’s an odd entrance. Neighborhood was unexpectedly near a bridge which drew an unsettling crowd, but I don’t think it would have bothered us if we had checked in earlier in the day. It was probably very typical for downtown LA. We just had some late nights coming in, and parking was pretty hit and miss meaning a couple blocks walk late at night sometimes. Overall the host was great to work with and we had a great spot to rest up on our trip.

Great Location

In the middle of LA, so if you're looking to go all directions during your stay, you can't beat this area in terms of access to places. Very communicative with the whole process!

Exactly as Advertised! Would book again!

Booked this house for a weekend getaway and this property had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and provided clear instructions for the check-in and check-out process. Would definitively book again if staying in LA!

My partner and I moved to Boyle Heights and purchased this historic home in 2021. Since then, we have been working to restore the home's original charm! We work as musicians and in the non-profit sector. We live on the property with our dog, cat, and small flock of chickens!
