A haven just outside Vancouver city

We had a lovely stay for 6 nights here. It was a great location - easily accessible to the city and with plenty of things to do in North Vancouver. The kids loved the tree house!

From booking to the homemade banana bread at check-in, our stay couldn't have been any nicer. Noo Noo was always very responsive and provided great ideas of places to visit. Can't wait to stay there again!

Great location - close to Capilene Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. A short sea bus ride to downtown Vancouver. Host was a great resource to places of interest.

Stunning sunsets

We had such an amazing stay at Noo Noo's secret garden treehouse. Noo Noo was kind, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. From out late night check in to early morning departure, she made us feel right at home. The property was perfect for our family of four, with ample space inside and a deck and tree house outside. We would definitely stay here again.

A unique and comfortable haven in a beautiful setting

We were in Vancouver for a family wedding, and Noo Noo was extremely welcoming and accommodating as we added an extra day, had family visiting, etc. The inside is unique and comfortable, while the outside defies description! Such beauty!

A must for North Vancouver stay

We loved our stay. The house is in a fabulous location, beautiful and clean. It made our family of 4 very comfortable. The private deck and the treehouse with views of Vancouver and the bridge are a cherry on top. Noo-Noo is an amazing host- our kids still talk about her cookies and how nice she is! We will be back!

Fantastic Cosy Canadian Experience!

This beautiful home was so calming after the hassle of traveling. After a long day of hiking and hot chocolate on nearby scenic Grouse Mountain, I delightedly stared out at the stunning sunset view from the treehouse. The luxuriously soft beds gave me the best sleep I’ve ever had and the living area provided a great place to sit back and read. Noo Noo has outdone herself with providing an amazing experience and has really made me feel like family. I can’t wait to come again!

Perfect

We loved our VRBO, our host Noo-Noo was such a great lady. Power outage due to a storm and she refunded that days money, she didn’t need or have to as it wasn’t her fault. The place was cozy and perfect for our family of three. Views were amazing and her yard was gorgeous.

Elegant apartment, no traffic noise

If you want a quiet place to stay in Vancouver, this is a marvellous choice. Lovely apartment set amid trees, with a spectacular view. Noo-Noo is a friendly and very experienced host, who answered all our questions while giving us full privacy. We travelled by public transit with no problems. Could not have been better! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Noo Noo was very available and helpful with any questions we had. The space was clean and well stocked and there was plenty of room. The area was quiet — we barely even heard traffic. Just the peaceful sound of the waterfall in the garden. The view of the inlet and ships was very nice. The property had a beautiful garden and trees. And the lights of the city were visible at night. Would recommend for sure.

Perfect stay!

Loved our stay at this walk out basement apartment in North Vancouver. The setting is breathtaking. We loved the tree house and the view of the water from the deck. The apartment was cosy and had everything we needed for the 4 of us. Noo Noo was a very friendly host and left us some home baking. A lovely touch. Will visit again.

A great place to stay in a wonderful neighborhood.

The accommodations and views matched the on-line listing. The place was very clean and comfortable. The location was very close to many of the attractions we visited including hiking trails. Highly recommended and we would stay there again.

Great place to stay. Great location, Great host, Great place!

We could not have been happier staying at this VRBO. Noo Noo was a great host. The property was lovely, very welcoming and has a awesome view of the water and mountains. My husband and I came to town to visit our son, who is going to school in Vancouver. We all three stayed at the property. It was so comfortable and homey. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to town.

The Secret Garden has moved to North Vancouver! After 34 years in Dunbar-Southlands, I decided to leave my character house (and gorgeous garden!) and move to North Vancouver to be closer to my son and two grandaughters.

I am now offering the same great hospitality, amenities and service as I did to the over 1200 guests I have welcomed to The Secret Garden during the past six years.

i look forward to meeting many new people and making new friends from all over the world.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Gorgeous views; the treehouse was also what caught my eye when I saw the listing. As a single senior, I find it so convenient for shopping and restaurants, etc. and if I want to go "over town" to Vancouver it's a simple matter on the seabus and actually closer than it was when I lived in Dunbar.

The quiet is unbelievable - just the sound of the birds. No noisy neighbours, barking dogs, or traffic noise.

I think I will be very happy here and I hope if you visit that you will enjoy it as much as I do.
