Beautiful property

Our family had a wonderful time at this home. Surrounded by mountains and a short walk to the river, we loved the ammenities and seclusion of this property. Would highly recommend for families that are looking to spend quality time together while being immersed in nature.

Wade and Crista are great hosts, check in is easy and hassle free. Theyve thought of it all, and the place is perfect for a nice trip to solitude. Amazing people and a wonderful place!

Home away from home… perfect!

The home was fantastic and Crista and Wade were awesome hosts. The home is beautiful and extensively equipped with EVERYTHING you would ever need. Having close access to the Blaeberry River was very handy as our family spent several hours there each day (clay facials and pretend baking for the kids and time spent in awe by my wife and I, while we watched our 5 daughters being kids again without a device in hand). The hot tub was a welcome touch and meticulously maintained to ensure the water was perfectly balanced. Upon check-in, the home was extremely clean and did not disappoint. We are a family of 7 and found that everyone had space to themselves but also amenities to keep them occupied. We will definitely return, as we suspect this will become our official family go-to for years to come. Thanks Wade and Crista!

Weekend trip!

We had an incredible experience staying at this property. The chalet was clean and well-stocked for our needs. Crista and Wade were very communicative and friendly. We were able to contact them throughout our stay to check in on certain aspects of the property such as the hot tub. The location of the property is so incredible that we barely left! All in all this trip was every bit as relaxing and enjoyable as we had hoped. Thank you so much for everything!

A restful haven

The property was beautiful and peaceful. The place was immaculate and well stocked for everything you could possibly need. There are great hiking trails and the hot tub was a special bonus. The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive. Next time we will book a longer stay if available! Thank you Crista and Wade for a much needed rest!

Beautiful Spot in the Mountains

The owners were very friendly and great to communicate with - got back to us very quickly with our inquiries. The property is just lovely and the cabin is so beautiful and very nicely furnished. Awesome place to stay! Perfect getaway spot in a peaceful setting.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This chalet was amazing!! Everything was so clean, Crista and Wade stocked the house so well. The house was comfortable, and the jacuzzi was so nice. Crista and wade responds really quick to any needs. We cooked all our meals, and they gave us clear instructions to get to the place. The cleanest vacation home I’ve ever been to! An hour away from lake Louise, close to water rafting activities. Loved our stay!

Beautiful hidden gem

Love the chalet and the views. Lots of space inside and out. Very clean, and well stocked ...enjoyed the hot tub and gas stove. 😊would stay there again. Loved our week.

Perfect in every way

Great facility equipped with everything needed. A little remote from Banff and Lake Louise but very quiet and peaceful. Deer everywhere and a bear passed right through the property. 5 minute walk to the river. We absolutely loved our stay and Crista and Wade were great

Gorgeous

This property is unbelievable. If anything, the pics on the profile under sell it. Were there with the family (wife and 4 kids 5 to 15) for 5 nights. Plenty of room for all and we all slept comfortably. New custom build home, no cheap builder grade finishes or fixtures, all high end. Property and house were immaculate, felt like we were the first people to occupy since it was built. Location is above expectations, Blaeberry river a very short walk straight out back door, quiet area just far enough from town on the mountain. Lots of walking trials nearby, Thompson falls is a must for hiking. Really can’t say enough about the property and the hosts. Done VRBO several times and had good experiences but this was by far the best yet. Plan on returning someday. If you are looking for a cozy quiet place in the mountains, you won’t find one better.

Family vacation with privacy/seclusion.

Wonderful experience. House is new, with great space for everyone. Secluded, private lot. Was definetely worth the drive out of town (Golden) for such an amazing house and setting. Owners were super helpful, and kind enough to help us out of a problem that arose during our stay (our own personal traveling snafu, nothing to do with the house itself). We used the house as a base for hiking in Glacier, Yoho, and Banff. We've stayed in a lot of VRBO homes, and this would be rated at the top. Highest recommendation.

Perfect for Young Families

Just remote enough to feel like a get-away with a short walk through wildflower meadow to a river bank where you can throw rocks and have a picnic. We had a preschooler and an infant and Crista and Wade provided a high chair, toys and Pack n/ Play! The cabin is more beautiful than our home and we enjoyed cooking on the Green Egg BBQ. Spotless and nice bedding and towels. Everything you need for a lovely stay, including wifi, but you'll want to be out in nature instead!

Highly Recommend!!

Exactly as advertised! Beautiful new home and all new furnishings, well laid out and comfortable for groups. Perfect access to the Blaeberry valley and can sled right from the yard which is a huge bonus. Easy walk down to the river snowshoeing. Lots of parking and room for the trailers. House is nice and secluded and private. Owners are easy to get a hold of if needed. Would be great for the summer months as well with the river right there and access to the valley.

We live just down the road from this property and have recently purchased this land because of the views and peace and quiet. It is our favourite place to spend time and explore. We are raising our children to enjoy all the benefits of the wilderness. We hope to retire to this spot.
