Vårt semesterhus ligger precis vid stranden vid Patons Rock.
Det är några steg från vår gräsmatta till vackra Patons Rock Beach.
Det finns 2 kajaker och 2 stå upp paddleboards (SUP) för gäster att använda gratis
** Gratis wifi. Vi älskar att komma ifrån allt och stänga av våra enheter, men det är bra att ha möjlighet till WiFi också.

Observera att barn under 5 år bor gratis.

Vi har försökt att hålla känslan av att vara i ett fritidshus samtidigt som vi ser till att huset är välutrustat och möblerat. Det finns bekväma sängar och porslin och köksutrustning av god kvalitet. Men slappna av, detta är ett fritidshus, inte ett sterilt showpiece.

De polerade trägolven i vardagsrummet är en härlig egenskap, tillsammans med vedbrännaren och bifogade dörrar till det stora däck. Den omfattande öppen planlösning och trädäck längs framsidan av detta klassiska hem vid stranden erbjuder panoramautsikt från Farewell Spit till Separation Point. Det stora vardagsrummet med öppen planlösning och däck möjliggör underhållande och tillmötesgående familj och vänner, och det finns ett rymligt, välutrustat kök. Det finns gott om utemöbler och en kvalitetsgrill för utomhusunderhållning och avkoppling.

Det finns tre sovrum med bra storlek, en kung med eget badrum, en drottning och ett tredje sovrum med en våningssäng, dubbelsäng och enkelsängar. Detta hem kan rymma upp till 8 personer och kungens och drottningens sovrum har båda vackra havsutsikt. Kungens sovrum har eget badrum medan det finns ytterligare toalett och separat dusch för de andra sovrummen.

Beachside Bliss

This was our second time staying here and we'll definitely be back again! The perfect spot for a family getaway. Gorgeous beachfront location. Central to all of Golden Bays sights. Stylish and homely and plenty of room. Spotless and well looked after. Great for our young kids being fully fenced so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Kids loved our kayak adventure and the extra beach toys! Sue was great to deal with, we had everything we needed. Was very hard to leave and could have easily stayed more nights!

Perfect beach house holiday

A fantastic time was had at this perfectly located beachfront holiday house. Well equipped indoors, as well as kayaks and paddleboards for outside. The kitchen comes with oven and dishwasher. A great beach for swimming, fishing and walks. 10 minutes drive approx to Takaka or Collingwood in either direction. A great place for a young family or older children, as well as adult groups.

Perfect place to get away

Had a brilliant few nights at Patons Rock. Excellent property, especially for young children with the enclosed garden and easy access to the perfect beach. We really loved it and would love to visit again in the future!

Time away

Our 3 nights at Patons Rock was a great time away. House easy to find and relax in, also a good location. A real shame that the wind put a damper on enjoying the beach and toys in the garage. We would definitely return if possible. We did have to buy some lu paper as there was none extra, and found it hard to wait around for washing to finish after packing up to hang out the towels, but no other issues.

This house it just lovely.

This house it just lovely. We really enjoyed being so close to the beach and were always stunned by the view. It was very cosy with the fire on at night and everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed to try out the stand up puddling and the kayak, thank you so much for the opportunity to use it!

I Want To Live Here!

Fantastic stay!! For a winter holiday stay it was super cosy and warm yet spacious and comfortable. Great quality beds and pillows and everything you need in the kitchen. Felt like I was staying in a home rather than holiday accommodation. Really couldn’t fault it and didn’t want to leave.

Wonderful break

Had 3 great nights here . There were 5 of us on a little reunion so a great spot to have a catch up. Had a lovely swim, horses on the beach and beautiful sunrise! Layout of Bach was perfect for 3 couples. Great place to hunker down in the early stages of the Coronavirus outbreak in NZ. Would definitely choose this place again if ever in the area.

Great stay in the Bay!

Such a beautiful spot, right on the beach. Perfect spot to base yourself for a break in Golden Bay. Looks exactly as in the photos. Nice quiet, quaint little beach community. Handy to Takaka, Pupu Springs, Mussel Inn. Fully fenced so perfect for young kids, we took our 18 month old and he had a great time roaming around outside. Nice very low deck too with wide steps so very safe for him get around. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Family Reunion

Magical with stunning views

I have holidayed in Golden Bay several times but this was my first time at Patons Rock. It is now my favourite place! What a lovely setting and what a beautiful house, my stay was just magic. The views from the house and deck are amazing and there is everything you could want in a holiday home. The house had a quirky vibe so you felt like you were on holiday but with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is very well equipped. Having the use of the kayaks and paddle boards was great too. Sue was so accommodating and easy to deal with. The one thing I would add is a dryer for those rainy days. Thank you, I will be back.

It was such a delight to arrive at this lovely property and...

It was such a delight to arrive at this lovely property and home on the beachfront at Patons Rock. The house provides a beautiful view of the stretch of beach from one end to the other. You will enjoy every moment just relaxing in the home or strolling the beach collecting beautiful shells as souveniers of your wonderful time spent here. The kitchen is well outfitted with dishes, pots and pans making it very easy to cook all of our own meals. Highly recommended for family and friends.

Gem by the sea

When you need to get away from the city stress and just relax this is the place. This typical Kiwi batch has everything you need in a location that has plenty to do. Definately worth the drive over the hill and communication with the owners was a breeze. Thanks

We have travelled extensively and we think Golden Bay is one of the most beautiful parts of the world.
Our kids are growing up and leaving home now but they still love going to "The Bay"

We have been holidaying in Golden Bay for 15 years but settled on Patons Rock as our favourite place to stay as it has a great beach, a mixture of residents and holiday makers, is peaceful and secluded, yet close to Takaka and Collingwood.
We chose this house because it has the most wonderful location and the house itself has a lovely feel to it. It is comfortable but also has character and still feels like a holiday home. The living area opens up to the stunning views which stretch from Farewell Spit to Separation point. The deck areas are beautifully situated for entertaining and/or relaxing and enjoying the fantastic location.
We love it here and we are confident you will too.
