• Quiet Hours: From 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, please keep noise to a minimum, particularly on the decks and outdoor areas.
• Noise Levels: We request that any noise inside the house remain at a level that cannot be heard from neighbouring properties.
• Visitors: The house is for accommodation purposes only, and is not suitable for parties, functions, or gatherings. We ask that you limit the number of visitors to two without prior written consent.
• Party Policy: We have a strict no-party policy, and bookings for schoolies, hens, and bucks parties are not accepted.
If you do not believe you can respect these rules, we kindly ask that you reconsider your booking. If you choose to disregard these guidelines, we will unfortunately have to ask you to vacate the property immediately, and you may forfeit your booking fee and deposit.
However, if you value a peaceful environment and are respectful of our neighbours, Alpine Nelson is the perfect holiday retreat for you.

The Neighborhood:
Mount Nelson sits just above the Suburb of Sandy Bay is one of Hobart's premier suburbs. And the home of the University of Tasmania and Wrest Point Casino (and the birthplace of Princess/Queen Mary of Denmark), only a few minutes' drive from Hobart CBD.
The home is close to Sandy Bay shopping village where you will find a Coles and Woolworths as well as a selection of smaller shops, including a great butcher and bakery. All the major banks have branches in the village and there is also a post office. There are a selection of excellent cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. These are all an easy drive from the house. Sandy Bay also has a lovely beach with an esplanade, park area with BBQs, children's play equipment.
Getting Around:
To best experience everything that Hobart has to offer it recommended to hire a car.
Buses run regularly close by on Mount Nelson Road, timetables can be accessed online on the Metro Tas website.
Taxi: If you need a taxi the telephone number is 131 008.
Uber is available in Hobart.

Alpine Nelsonl is situated in a quiet residential area. Guests should not create noise that could disturb our neighbours at any time during their stay.
We have implemented a strict Quiet Time between 10pm and 8am where there is to be no noise on the decks or outdoor areas.
In addition, there should be no excessive noise on the decks and outside areas at any time during your stay and noise inside the house should be at a level so as not to be heard from neighbouring properties.
The house is for accommodation only and is not suitable for parties, gatherings or functions of any kind. There is to be no more than 2 visitors to the house without our prior written consent.
