This eco friendly home is nestled among majestic oaks and pines in the wine region of Ramona, CA. This Mountainside Retreat is a magical space for small families and couples to come relax and re-connect with nature, each other, and themselves. The outdoors provide an unbeatable atmosphere for the perfect getaway with breathtaking views of mountain tops, seasonal streams, a bridge waterfall, hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, pick-nick tables, park benches, one of a kind horse shoe pit! disk golf, corn hole and private hiking trails!

You will find yourself a world apart as you wake up to the sounds of birds in the morning and a commanding vista of the surrounding hillsides. The house is nestled among the ever growing wine region on Ramona, CA. Additionally, you will find local farm stands and seasonal u-pick fruit orchards, many local artisans, and horseback riding, hiking, and outdoor exploring. Ramona is also only a short jump from all of the other activities that the greater San Diego Region has to offer. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a short 25 minute drive and Sea World, Lego Land, Downtown, The San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp District and the beaches are all within a 45 minute drive. The Mt. Woodson Golf course is also in the neighborhood and offers a lovely course and fantastic views.

This home features hard surface flooring throughout the home, forced air heating and air conditioning, and a lovely open kitchen. The house features all new appliances and It has a wonderful peninsula bar with seating so that everyone can easily gather for meals. This listing offers approximately 1,600 square feet of living space and is on an 8 acre lot studded with oaks, pines, and majestic boulders. Great staycation home!

My husband and I decided on a staycation to celebrate our anniversary and were very happy with all aspects of the property from the location to the cleanliness to all of the amenities this home has to offer and that game room brought us both some major nostalgia! We are already planning to book again in the near future!

Better than I could imagine!

This place had everything we could need and more. Outside games for the kids. Huge well thought out and maintained yard. Very comfortable beds. We did an egg hunt and the yard is the best for it. Our host got back to us very quickly and just really nice people. It was Easter Sunday and they still came by to help with an issue that was resolved in seconds. One of the best parts was the fully functioning throw back game room. It was nostalgic but still up to date. Not a thing was left out. It allowed my grandkids to experience what games were back when I was a kid. And I got to share that with them. They all want to come back. Truly magical. Thank you for the experience.
